Received the Remedy for Dark Spots and have used it the last three nights. There has been no irritation whatsoever and I am the poster child for sensitive skin. Hopefully I will see improvement in my hyperpigmentation. I am optimistic!

Been using the lip balm for a couple days now and it's really a great product. Things I like: (1) The balm is thicker than expected and doesn't feel like it's gone quickly. But, it's still very smooth. (2) It doesn't require a lot of frequent reapplication. (3) The moisturizing happens very quickly.
Ive commented on his videos that I hope they can launch versions without retinol for those of us that use Tretinoin already, hope to see that! Also, i follow you on IG so im excited to see you on TH-cam!
He recently sent an email to subscribers that answered that question! In cases such as yours, he recommends alternating tret nights with dark spot nights. But I can understand those who don't want to reduce their tret frequency.

I really enjoyed this product. It's a simple all in one. There is not a strong smell or odor. My skin is literally glowing with all of the things I learned from the videos. I wake up with my skin glowing and soft and smooth. I have very sensitive skin and this absolutely does not irritate it. I will be ordering my second bottle soon. I wish I could show how much my skin had improved! Please take a chance and buy this product. Also please remember to wear sunscreen during the day to protect your skin! ❤

As an esthetician, I feel like derm skin care brands are the new celebrity skin care brands. It seems like every week, a new derm skin care brand comes out and is being overhyped for its name recognition; not necessarily for its efficacy. I have nothing against remedy but given the over saturation of products like this that are already out there, they don’t need to exist. I think people get really skewed about the difference between a dermatologist and a cosmetic chemist, and their roles. If you try this and it works better for you than something that’s already out there that you’ve tried, great! Personally, I won’t be trying these because I stick with Korean skincare and for what they are, the price isn’t something I could justify.
I picked up for pores and for dark spots and I’m excited to try them. The price point is great as well so I can repurchase without clutching my pearls 😂 I want to pick up the for lips also!

I have acne prone, sensitive, skin with melasma on cheeks, forehead and I also hyperpigment easily from any breakouts on nose/chin because I'm tan/olive complected. I use low strength (.02%) tretinoin from Agency along with other ingredients Agency puts in to help my issues and I use their dark spot formula and Benzoyl peroxide on chin only in the AM. I'm considering trying one of his 2 retinol products instead of my retinoid, as I love the all in one idea instead of 2 products at night that are pretty expensive. Not sure if the Dark Spot one would be powerful enough for my breakouts or if the Pore Size one would help enough with my pigment? If anyone has advice or experience, I'd love to hear it.
I am 65 and use a stronger percentage retinal already. I use MEDIK8 1% and have recently added a 2% retinal. Can these be added also because the retinol percentage is very low?
I wish it wasn't plastic single use packaging we need to be able refill which are also free of plastic or fully recycle them. These will just end up in landfill.
True but also i remember Krave Beauty talked about how glass packaging is too heavy and ends up making a worse impact on the environment since it requires more fuel emissions to transport in bulk? Something like that. Maybe this is similar bc ik Dr. Shaw is pretty conscious of stuff like that
With all the numerous other regulations & mandates on many skin care actives in the EU/UK/CA I predict some products won’t be able to be sold outside the U.S. They’d probably have to reformulate hence going back to square one. 😢
Does using retinol thin out your skin and break down your skin barrier if it's used daily? My cousin has sensitive skin, and she is also a pharmacist in China.
Good question, retinol actually doesn't thin the skin, but sometimes causes irritation when you first start using it. I have a video coming out soon about some of these retinol myths.
On the video on his page he stated that really you should only use one or the other since they both have retinol unless you are only applying to different areas on the face
He has chapters so you can navigate to whatever "points" you want to get to. You can also skip through , or watch at a higher speed if you're not patient enough to get through the video. He's doing a full review, which majority of us as audience are looking for.

I wouldn’t use both, just one or the other, depending on your main concerns, if you feel like you need both, I would alternate nights
