I totally remember you, Johnny! You had the most polite 911 call in the history of 911 calls. Lol I fell in love w the kid on that call. Fell in love with your heart & soul, if that makes sense. God Bless you!!

I came across your page by hearing your 911 call. I too have a near death experience. It changed my perspective on a lot of things in my life. I was in a car accident and rolled 7 times. I have a brachial plexus injury so I'm not able to use my left arm. I can relate to you a lot even though I am not an amputee I still cannot use my limb. You're an inspiration, you are here for a reason and its to help others. Glad you recovered and keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing your story! Sad reaction from your ex! Even if you were broken up, if she had any care for you, she didn't react very nicely! So happy that you survived your horrific ordeal!! Happy for your second chance at life! All the best to you and yours!!

You have a great insight into life and how easily death can come to us. I had a rollover car accident on the highway in 2005 and then surgery for cancer in 2017, and at times I am surprised that I am still here. Your 911 call was so sweet. I can only imagine the pain and/or shock you were in, but you have such a kind nature even under extreme circumstances.

I worked with your mom at publix and she was always kind to me. She spoke about you with pride and joy and I see why! Tell her (if she remembers me) Emanuel from publix says hello!

I hope you keep making videos. You’re a fkn inspiration man. I might lose both my legs due to disease caused by my 2014 car accident and not being able to afford all the surgeries I need. I’ve already lost most of the feeling in my feet (minus excruciating daily pain). And the worst of it is that my accident was caused by a cop that I can’t sue and he’s living on a fat pension and settlement from my car insurance thanks to the fixed police report (anyone who claims cops don’t take care of their own have never been a victim of abuse of power). Anywayyyyy… I’ve been living in deep depression knowing I really have no way of saving myself-so instead of watching my legs get GRUESOMELY amputated in a second, I’m watching my legs die in pain over years just to lose them once it becomes a threat to my life and I can be seen at the community hospital. It sucks but watching you gives me so much hope. I hope the man I love will still love me and stay by me but if not, I have hope that I can be okay on my own. I just have to figure out how I’m still gonna take care of my triplegic mother lol. She can’t sit up, walk, speak, brush her own teeth, etc. So yea… that’s gonna be a challenge for sure and I’ll need prosthetics FOR SURE. I appreciate your prosthetic vids big time. Anyway, I’m blabbering. Just can’t express to you enough how awesome you are. Thank you for showing us the way. Stay strong man.

I loved the positive attitude you had when speaking to 911, loved how you thought of your mom…you sounded so calm.My nephew who lives in a rural area and works out in the fields working with tractors .He was around 16 or so was riding on that tractor (not sure what he was working on)well something got caught in the thing that picks up whatever he was worKing on at the time, but pretty much like yourself he got off to check what was clogging it,he was wearing a jacket …his jacket sleeve got caught in those that thing that go around and got his jacket sleeve and well basically pulled his whole arm off of course he lost his whole arm of course ..was a horrible horrible accident…but by the grace of GOD he was saved much like yourself and today in his 60’s is well and living his life..still working those fields. ..thank you for your story , sure did bring back memories 😔.Thank God your still amoungst us GOD bless you and keep you safe🙏🏼

I can feel you on the whole not wanting to die alone thing. I'm an ICU nurse, we have an unspoken rule: nobody dies alone, the nurse or the nursing assistant will stay in the room as the patient dies if there is no family present.

    • @meady50
      @meady50 ปีที่แล้ว +1

That’s so sweet. When we had to take my father off of life support, I vividly remember the nurses being shocked at how many people wanted to be in the room with him. Im so grateful for all of the staff and how kind everyone there was; they actually accommodated to our massive family (If I remember correctly, it was around 15+ people in the room that were family) and moved him to a larger room to do the final processes so we could all be with him as he passed. My mom got to hold his hand as he took his final breath, and I think all of us being there really helped him pass. So thank you guys for everything you do. I actually went through nursing school and passed with the highest grades in my class, but once I got to clinicals I realized I didn’t think I could 100% control my emotions under certain circumstances, so ultimately I decided to not continue going down that path. Sometimes I miss it and wish I had continued, but I just don’t feel that I can fully trust myself to be dependable if I’m placed in a similar situation to my own previous one

Living dead person here. I had a very similar experience! I died when I was 19, similar age as well. Random memories, like my brother and I watching tv as children, not so much birth to death. Deep sadness that I was still so young & unable to do certain things. I took the path of fear for a while, became agoraphobic. However, eventually it gave me the insight to realize that life is too short to hide, and I’m very open to almost any new experience now! I am extremely grateful that I was given a second chance as well & I appreciate your insight on the topic. I don’t feel so alone anymore. Thank you!

When i nearly died I heard God speak to me to give me another chance to live a life for love and I later became a Christian because I realized nothing i could do could please an all powerful God and that voice told me to live with love. Christianity seemed to be the biggest embodiment of that for me. But it was a multiple time experience and the first time it was a sense of empty nothingness too. But the second time, I felt, saw and heard stuff. I do think punishment is real but i think God is pretty patient and forgiving and kind as well and really appreciates when you try your best to live for Him and others around you. Well that’s what I believe I saw anyway, but i hope that’s not preachy, I just thought id share to give someone desperately scared of nothingness after life here, some hope ‘cause I feel there’s definitely something that exists past the “nothingness phase” in my experience where existence goes on.

I’ve been close to death from a couple car crashes. One when i was around 11-12 years old (wasn’t the driver), where the vehicle was hanging off a bride above water; the second crash when i was 19 (was the driver), where i lost control goin about 60 around a curve and rolled the vehicle over a fire hydrant. To this day, my dream is to be a drift car driver or rally car racing.. It’s amazing to see people overcome that fear and be something greater!

Good attitude to have with this second chance. Good analogy with the casino too.
I have always been the type to ride the craziest rollercoasters and a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
I have had near death experiences and i don't know if that's why i've always lived so free.
But i also had to learn about mortality at age 3 when my severely disabled brother was born and I was told he was going to die. (He lived to be almost 23). But he was an angel in the flesh whom I was blessed to have in my life.
Thanks for sharing your story. Very fascinating.

Recently I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I didn't die but got as close as you can get. Almost bled out in the street. The cops didn't think I would make it. I needed blood transfusions. I know exactly how you feel. Listening to your phone call made me cry. The first thing you worry about is your mom and I did the same exact thing. You telling everyone you loves them. I did something similar. I couldn't talk because my jaw was broken and hanging there but I was reaching for someone/anyone's hand. I couldn't keep my eyes open or move my head to look around but someone grabbed my hand. It was my mom and some how I instantly knew it was her and I muttered "I'm sorry" and passed out. I woke up in my hospital room dazed and confused. I also had recently had a break up with my girlfriend of 6 years and tried to reach out to her hoping she would care and come back.. but she didn't care. I also got the "that has nothing to do with me" treatment. I can relate to your story on such a deep level. I broke so many bones in my body but the main thing was my femur. It broke in 8 places and the bone ripped through my leg. Surprisingly I didn't lose it but I'm unable to bend my leg any more than 60 degrees. This happened 02-04-23 so very recently. I'm still recovering and trying to learn to walk again. Your story is helping me out through this struggle in my life rn. I know how it feels to feel like "why am I still alive I shouldn't be here" and I hope I can find a reason for that someday, but I want you to know.. thanks to you and seeing how well and healthy you look in these videos. I have hope and I oddly don't feel alone in my situation. I wish there were more recent uploads to resonate with. But I'm glad there is what there is. Idk if you still use this account or not but I hope you get this message and know you helped one more person with your story and I'm glad you're still here. Thank you

Damn. What a touching story. I hope you are doing well and have once again found that spark for life! Physically limiting injuries are always the worst, because you always reflect on what once was. However, it is also important to look at the other side of the coin, what COULD of happened. You COULD of bled out and passed, but rather, you are alive and breathing. I hope you’re doing well

@kayne01 I've found a sense of purpose. Found a job that I love doing and been learning everything I can about it while investing in the tools I need to do it. I have yet to find my other half. Still been really lonely and still sore from the last one. I've had a surgery to help move my leg more, it still isn't how it used to be but it's much better than the time from the last post. Life isn't perfect but I'm staying hopeful

Thank you so much for sharing this. I don’t know how I found your story tonight but I am so glad I did. I’m a medical assistant and I work for a kidney specialist. We received a referral the other day that had a medical history listed and there was a date of death from years ago. And I hit me really hard thinking about that. I thought it was interesting that it legit said “died” on this date at this time. And I wondered how that impacted them. It’s hard sometimes working in an industry where you see the fragileness of life come and go. I never thought id be strong enough to handle that sort of job but I really feel like it’s my calling to help others navigate through the tough decisions. I am so inspired by your view on life and what you are doing with your second chance. Also I’m sorry your ex was a bitch. I’m sure she didn’t realize how serious it was. 😬

I also had a death experience i hit my head while running and i am 6’4 and hit my head so hard on the concrete. They said it was like a 100 mph fatal car crash and it cracked my skull wide open. And i had to be revived three times twice in the ambluance and once at the hospital. My mom was told if i wake up i would maybe not be able to talk ,walk ,eat etc. and then i woke up four days later with no memory of what happened and walked out of the hospital a week later like nothing happend. I still feel like i had a angel on my side, and like you said nothing flashed in front of your eyes it just goes black and your done it changes your life and how you think about life

Leading up to what would’ve been my death was the feeling that time basically stood still. I could literally feel each moment tick by (which was probably the infection coursing through my body). I’m in your camp. I don’t find myself being particularly scared of most situations. I’m also find myself having a tougher time now getting and staying warm.
Do you see things now? I see shadow people a lot now. I guess my situation opened me up to that.

I have a cousin that's died several times. Three times in one ambulance trip due to a brain aneurysm, another time in the hospital (I think), then, several years later, he nearly died due to an aortic tear. I told him we already know he's Iron Man, stop trying to prove it. Lol He's told us about seeing loved ones that are already on the other side. Specifically, he saw his brother that had just a couple years before in a car accident. He said that his brother told him, "It's not your time yet. You have to go back." Or something along those lines. He said it gave him a lot of peace to see his brother smiling and happy. His brother also came to me in a dream about a month after he died, but that's another story.

this video really relived me. hearing you just say you fell asleep and nothing "happened" (as in no heaven or hell or anything while you were dead) is very soothing. that’s exactly what i always thought would happen, you just stop, no soul bs, no afterlife however positive or horrific it might be. but because so so many people believe in god and an afterlife sometimes i doubt myself and think "well if so many people believe in it, maybe they’re right? maybe i am sinning every day just by not believing in god and being bisexual and sometimes lying and now god hates me and i’ll go to hell forever" and even if it’s not as dramatic as going to hell/heaven and it’s just a kind of floating in a space that no one alive knows of, i don’t think i wanna be doing this for all eternity. i’d rather just go back to not existing and the nothing ness that was before i was born.

Are you still religious? Do you think your prayer to Jesus in the call had something to do with you’re coming back to life?

It makes me very sad that after all those years of “ religious” education you were never taught the truth about how we get to Heaven… it’s not about doing good things or being a good person. It’s believing that Jesus died for our wrongs/sins and trusting that he took the wrap for us. Then turning away from life on our terms and following him. 💜

See but you literally say it in your own comment. At the very end of your comment you mention turning away from life on our terms and following him. I never said it was about works. I said I did enough bad stuff and was a bad enough person that I knew I was going to hell. This isn’t me saying it’s about works and that I hadn’t done enough good things to earn a place in heaven. It’s me going off of what you yourself even just said, which was the same thing that I was taught repeatedly my entire life, which was that if you truly accept Jesus in your heart, you will naturally turn away from the ways of the world. The fact is, I never turned away from the ways of the world, but instead continued doing all of the same stuff I always did and in fact as I got older got into new worse stuff. Therefore I had to question whether I had ever even actually really accepted him or if I had just gone through the motions. And by the time I reached adulthood I realized I no longer had any interest in Christianity or organized religion in general, which answered my question, that I had most likely never truly accepted him in my heart to begin with. So that prayer was a dying person’s last words. As they say, “there’s no atheists in foxholes”. In a moment of distress you will grasp for any straws you can reach, and having had organized religion pounded into my brain since before I could even talk, and having been fully indoctrinated into the Christian church without my consent and with no say or agency in what religion I wanted to follow, if any, of course I naturally went to the one thing I knew, which was Christianity and Jesus. Ultimately though, I died. Meaning he did not save me. However, modern technology and the innovations of man in the form of medical intervention brought me back to life. So in reality, none of it even mattered anyways. Ultimately, none of this is my belief or faith anymore, nor has it been for over a decade, but going off of the actual words of the Bible, I was not saying it was of works. I was saying essentially that because I was completely unchanged and still living my life according to me, doing things I knew were wrong and having zero cares, I knew ultimately I likely was not going to heaven. If it even existed. Which even in my moment of turmoil, I still wasn’t even sure I believed it did exist. But I damn sure knew I was going to say a prayer just in case, even if it ultimately did me nothing. Which in fact turned out to be the case. Now the argument could be made that maybe it’s because all of this DOES exist, however I was correct and in fact was not truly a Christian, and that is why my prayer was not answered. If that’s the case I guess we will deal with that the next time I die, if that time ends up being more permanent 🤷

Accept Yahawashi/Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You will be given eternal life and be saved. (Luke 21:11, Matthew 24:7, Revelation 18:23)

Are you sure you didnt just pass out in the ambulance? That happens a lot. I mean I dont say that to undermine what you went through and you definitely lucked out and Im sure were all happy that you're here but passing out from blood loss is pretty standard for amputations. Whats dificult to watch is people who dont pass out (not that they should). Im assuming youre right for the record and you did die, I just think its important for people to maintain a healthy and accurate scope of what has happened in their life. I tried to kill myself when I was 15 (relax I dont have the balls to kill myself anymore) and apperently wasnt even good at dying so Im still here and definitely relate to the sentiment of not seeing shit when I was konked out though truthfully I didnt die (by most people's standard). I appreciate your outlook moving forward as well. Its similar to my own though I have next to no interest in living I just dont want to kill myself to end it lol. You are never truly free until you recognize that every day youre alive is just extra and you should have been dead long ago.
