Before i watch the video im gonna say i think the reason indie games are so popular compared to triple a games is because indie games are all so original and made with love while triple a games are all just the same thing over and over just made for money
not only are they made with love, indie games come FROM the community. not from some corporate game company who doesn't listen to its community. well i guess some companies listen like ValvE... and others... but indie games are from devs who have an idea and build on feedback from their community. They are just more creative and daring then companies who want to stick with whats cheap and good enough
Good video and great points, earned a sub! But i think the topic of ssbu needed more clarity. Nintendo should be considered an outlier to stuff like this since they are the only game company that is this weirdly obsessed with protecting and restricting their IPs. But big tournaments DO still happen, it's just that TOs are now required to have a license now if they exceed something like 250 people or so(i forget the amount). Thankfully Nintendo actually responds quickly and gives these out now, as opposed to the time Smash World Tour got shut down. Still pretty ridiculous though, they are losing out on a good money source since they're just so weird about their IPs and competitive smash in general
