Love when she mentions safety and there is a grinder with no guard on. Classic

Wow. Your pitch is better than what I’ve heard from Milwaukee Sales reps.

Meh, make your own if you are DIY. These are for companies that pays the bill. Just picked up a 3,300 watt capacity battery for $430.. Add an inverter that you need 2000,3000,4000 peak. Recharge cheap with Alligator clips charger type. Looks ugly, but won't break $1k

      good idea, actually.

It's about time. I wasn't a fan of the mx inverter, especially since it only lasted 6 months and broke and Milwaukee refused to warranty it. I hope this lasts longer, I'm willing to give it a try at least.

The MX inverter was their first power solution, which has since been improved. This new one has several more years of development behind it but we will see if Team Red fans want a fixed battery bank, that doesn't rely on M18 or MX battery packs.

Interested in something like this for sump pump backup and portable power for trips. Anything else you’d recommend checking out?

The battery backups have no problem starting and running a standard sump pump, a 1/3 HP unit will have a peak start of 1300-2900 watts and running usage around 800 watts. For that Milwaukee Roll-On that means about 3 hours continuous running as a backup. Even the M18 Carry-On with 4x of 12.0Ah has the power to run a sump pump but it's the runtime that's the issue. This outperforms most "backup" battery systems out there which maybe give you 20-30 minutes. For best results look into a water powered back but yeah a generator (running outside) feeding an extension cord will give you more continuous usage as long as you add more gas every few hours.

Very pricey for something so new! I'll have to stick to Honda gas generators for now, until these battery units drop in price.

What about size? Dimensions? How does it compare to the regular tool box roller? Seems it might be a bit wider, but is it taller?

The Milwaukee ROLL-ON Power Supply is 28.85 inches in length, 19.95 inches in height, and 23.15 inches in width. It is similar in size to the PACKOUT Roling Tool Box but weighs a lot more at 104lb.

Can you set in a truck and charge it with the truck or solar panels on the roof of the truck? That would be amazing

if you put 3 good mppt controlers on it for solar input so that it can accept 3000 watts of solar then you might have a winner.

Also is the battery lithium ion phosphate or lithium iron phosphate???? For something that pricey it needs to be the iron phosphate battery.

4500 smackarros for a 100# battery that gets whooped by a $1000 gassy-boi from China Freight? That's gonna be a hard pass fo sho. Kudos to the big red army for daring to travel down that road but seriously, this thing is going need some stacked lithium and touched by the finger of God to be viable.
Nice pitch though, OPT. Gotta hand it to you for the well put together presentation. Cheers!

$4,500? You can get a gas generator for like under 1k.

We agree, and talk about it at 3:55 if a Honda EU2200i (which we also sell) is portable and $1k where does this new Milwaukee fit? There are for sure many cases where sticking with gas is going to be the way to go, however we see many buy a gas generator for certain applications and then it sits unused the rest of the time, once the investment is made this may become a daily part of life for many, even if there is power somewhere on the jobsite, this keeps everything where you are working. We are also seeing more and more situations where running a generator is simply not an option, while still less common, more common everyday. Good news is battery tech is only going to get higher cell capacities and lower cost per watt hour so if this is the starting point for specialty situations, it's only going to open door for more and more battery solutions like this!

800-1500$ generator could & would stomp this thing😂 or you could build a better diy setup for less then 2-3k$ meaning the other 2k is just a Milwaukee brand tax you paying for the privilege of owning there products.

What is the price? $4,500.00! Doesn’t sound like something the average working guy could afford, and afford tools! Something for contractors. Very nice, but I would need a lot of projects, and employees using battery powered tools! Looks like something I would have to keep my eye on, so that it doesn’t disappear!
