I bet everyone who collaborated thought he was revolutionary & artsy because he was a bestseller somehow but he is creepy & has bad taste. Other people deserved that budget & those actors.
"New York Times Bestseller" for me here feels a lot like that one author who was on the charts for 23 hours until it came out that she twisted to system by buying a large bulk copy of her work, I think. How he got on the charts at all is weird.

I clicked this notification so fast. I'm always here for Nick's roasts of Shane's shit content.
Nick should also roast some of Shane's more recent TH-cam "docuseries"too.
I want Nick do a break down EVERYTHING
ahhh YES that would be incredible
Dont call it a docuseries, call a spade a spade, it's a glorified vlog
yessss
oh my god poor nick, he's watched so much "terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible content" for us

Like always astounded how fatphobic Shane was. 😬
Like can’t even vocalize how upsetting it is seeing Shane make fun of fat people, like bro you were fat you know how traumatic shit like this is. You’re allowed to make fun of yourself but when it becomes hateful and disgusting like this it’s too far.
@@TaylorBeem Right? And the fact that he was fat at one point is clearly what he thinks makes it okay when in reality it's worse. He should understand what it's like.
You see it a lot from those “I used to be fat” people, like you’d think they’d be more sympathetic but most often they seem to see fat people as subhuman...
@@RubyBlueUwU this is so true! I've seen many examples of "ex fats" making fun of fat people in disgusting ways - and claiming it will motivate fat people to lose weight. Also seen "ex fats" fatshame their own old photos. I would really like to know where all that self hatered and hating others comes from?
Of course that's not everyone. I know one woman who lost a huge amount of weight due to health issues, and she has continued being a body positivity activist, speaking against fatphobia, though she isn't fat anymore.
@@elainelouve but like, are you talking about maybe being slightly overweight, or being obese. Because as we all know, being obese is unhealthy. I'd recommend slightly overweight people to lose some weight as well, but it's not as important.
Nick: Does Shane think lesbian means some kind of cabaret dancer?

Shane Dawson has a strange place in my heart, I really don't like him and his content and everything he represents. However the first video from Nick I watched was a Shane Dawson video so I don't like him, but if not for him I wouldn't know of Nick. strange huh?
I’m in the same boat. 😭 if it weren’t for Shane I wouldn’t know of a lot of my favorite youtubers.

my friend gifted me a signed copy of this book & i can’t believe i actually read it in high school like it was good... i gave it to goodwill last year
I would throw it in the cat’s litter box but I bet my cat would have a panic attack.
At least you were grateful
I gave mine to Goodwill also.... it's probably still there :)
it's some other poor soul's problem now lol
i know youtube was weird back in the day but seriously...how did ANYONE like any of shane dawson's movies-
agreed. i was in his target demographic once and i never liked this stuff so i dont get why anyone liked it
The fact that 2015 TH-cam is considered back in the day now, I should of deleted TH-cam awhile ago now
I'm not convinced that anyone genuinely did?? people who enjoyed it back then must've been fooling themselves, because even at like 11 I couldn't pretend to like his sketches or films. at the time I didn't even think too hard about the offensiveness of it, the jokes just never made me laugh and I always got bored or annoyed so I stopped watching his stuff
I did, but I was also like 11. I know it's total trash now, but I think the extreme "edginess"/disgusting humor was appealing to me at a time when I wanted to rebel but wasn't quite sure how to yet
I used to love not cool when I was a kid. Like middle school kid. He was in at the time and I related to the “I’m a loser” persona he had in a lot of his movies
“Let’s get our hands weirdly sticky”. Very fitting with the enigma that is Shane Dawson
shane dawson deleting this makes me nervous for what's in store
He deleted shit that could get him cancelled, many people think he might come back soon which in my opinion is doubtful, regardless of whether he does or not he’s likely to become one of those TH-camrs whose critics get more views than him.
Poorly blocked, poorly shot, poorly lit, shake my tit. Most inspiring quote of 2021! ❤️
He probably watched Mr Bean eating bad oysters once and thought ‘I can do that’. So he spend too much time shooting a non memorable scene about old fishsticks.
"Its not funny its just gross" would have been a better title for shanes autobiographical essay book
First time you showed the "I'm definitely a lesbian" scene I kept a straight face, but when put right after the Reading Rainbow song I laughed out loud! Your comedic timing is everything!
I can't believe I used to like him like ever. I even bought this trash of a book ew

Ok but asking Alexa to fart is unironically so entertaining lol
The Hate Myselfie book has ‘New York Times bestseller’ on the cover. I bet this title alone opened lots of doors for him.
@@SirChubbyBunny i mean he had a huge fanbase so him getting on the NYT best seller list isnt exactly a huge surprise
It wasn’t your weight Shane, it was your “personality”
Shane is just one of those 30-40 year olds that are *still* obsessed with the fact that he wasn’t popular in high school and is mentally stuck at 14 because of it.
Like your writing is telling me that in the 10+ years since you’ve graduated hs you haven’t had a new thought, experience, or idea and you think everyone should care.
Shane was a millionaire when he made this right? Just pay for a therapist and find something else to “write” about old man! 🙃
Daaaang, why is it so true👏😆🙈
He was probably in his late 20's when this was made, cause I remember when it came out and it was *old*, but point taken
Shane Dawson making a film: ok what minority should be the punchline this time?
The fat suit is really gratuitous here because aside from it not even looking like any fat body ever, Shane at his heaviest was never this big, by a mile. So it overflows from self deprecating humor to just regular fat shaming.
Towards the end, I started to wonder what I'd think of Shane if I went to high school with him. He really thought he showed them how cool and successful he was but turns out he's a creepy awful human and everyone in his high school probably knew that and cringed at his youtube videos/popularity.
“I myself am working with a mixed bag of facial proportions” another one for the Nick archives and yes i’m writing them down ✍🏼🧏🏼♀️
That is so me 😬
i feel like the fact that there was a food sponsorship on a video about someone wearing a ridiculous fat suit... there’s a punch line somewhere and i hope it’s not tasteless

I thought she looked familiar!!!! Did she used to have black hair???

I am so glad that Cherami Leigh has more than 360 credits on IMDB because most people will never notice that she was in these projects.

The women who starred in this and not cool is the voice actor of Makoto in the persona series
She also voiced V in cyberpunk. Her range is good
Sae from peach girl
She’s also Lucy Heartfillia from Fairy Tail, Asuna from SAO, Sarada from Naruto/Boruto, and so much more. Man, it feels weird to know that she used to be friends with him.
Things I didn't know: Chermai Leigh, the chick in this and Not Cool was the voice actor for female V in Cyberpunk 2077. She was absolutely incredible in that role. I've said it before without even knowing who it was but she definitely made that character her own. I always play as fem V just because I prefer her voice acting so much
