  • Miniaturist Journal 71. I have collected so many tools over the years, time for a toolboard! I'm also showing you my wonderful Roubo workbench, made by Fatih Karalar after the 18th century design of André Roubo.

My favorite miniatures are the daily use things. Such as tools, kitchen items, shoes and eye glasses. The daily hum drum. It gives much more realism. Items for daily living. Thank you.

Yes, I like those too. I still want to make electrical outlets, extension cords, lights, etc. All the stuff that should be in such an area. Plenty of ideas for this room. 😉

What a wonderful workshop! At first glance I thought it was your workshop not a miniature workshop. You did a fine job making a spot for every tool!❤❤❤

I thought the same thing! That it was her real workshop and then we were going to zoom in on the miniature version 😂

Thank you very much! Ah, my real workshop is not as cool as this one. I don't even have a toolboard. Or a workbench. 😉

Hope you find the missing tools. I know the feeling, today I lost or misplaced a saw, a book and a hinge, mini of course. Great idea to take a pic of your layout for the tool board! The dust on the work bench makes it look authentic and used😉. Thank you as always for the links to other creators, more ideas and sites to explore.👏

Thank you Coby! Ah, the missing tools...Well, I've been trying to organise my workshop the past few weeks. Could not find the tools. Of course the toolboard is now finished, and guess what I found today? 😄

Nice display you made for the toors. I think I will copy your idea as I also have collected tools over years. I do also have a work bench but in Swedish design. 😀

Go for it Monica! At first I thought that Roubo bench of mine was a Swedish design, but it is French. It is a nice way to display a tool collection. 😃

All the detail of the room and the work bench are so realistic! The deep blue is a beautiful colour.

My pleasure! I bought the workmate years ago from Le mini di Pierluigi. I don't know if he still makes them, but you could always contact him. This is his website: www.pimini.it/html_pagine/arredamento_casa.html
