So glad it was helpful! You can share without signing up for a Pro or Premium trial however. All you need is the email address and the normal Power BI free account.
So if the data does not need to be refreshed or updated, I am able toshare the Power BI Desktop file only and everything will work fine? I don't need to worry about sharing the original data source files (which in my case are Excel files in SharePoint)? Thank you for this helpful video!
Yes, as long as you refresh in the Power BI service--according to this MS article: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web#updates-to-reports-and-data-refresh
Brandon, thank you very much for this. I'm a former actuary, mid-fifties, never was part of the tech wave so I didn't learn sufficient web skills to build my own websites so I lack confidence in that area. Several years ago I devised an idea for a new form of Democracy and it's been plaguing me ever since. I simply have to show it to the world. I could easily create an Excel spreadsheet to explain the concept, but how could I get it online so other people can grasp the concept? This video is a huge help.
You can get a free business email address that will allow you to use the Power BI Service (i.e., powerbi.com). I show you the step-by-step in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html Please note that Microsoft changed the signup process slightly--see my replies to comments on that video for the updated instructions. Let me know if that helps!
thanks for summing these up. If I don't want to publish to web due to data being proprietary, how can I still share it within my organization but not requiring everybody to have a powerbi pro license? Many thanks!
In this case we publish the report to a PBI workspace backed by Premium capacity. PBI is a SaaS so you have to be licensed one way or another to use it and get shared access to content. hth
Yes, you can use a corporate email, but a better way is to follow the steps in this video, th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html , where I show you how to get a free email address to use with Power BI (and you don't even need to have your own domain).
Hi Brandon, just tried the embedding option and I don't the option to choose the size or select the pages. Is that something that has changed in the last year since you published this or how do I access those options?
Hi Diego, how are you trying to embed? Are you choosing File-->Embed Report-->Publish to web (public)? If so, you should see a pop-up window titled "Embed code" that shows the link URL, an HTML snippet, a drop-down to pick the size, an option to upload a placeholder image, a dropdown to select the default page, and a preview of the report to the right.
@@BrandonMichals thanks. We were able to embed the report but it still asked to login. I read some where that the only way to avoid this was to publicly publish it, meaning the link is open to anyone and search engine bots can access it. Do you know any other way to share a report with someone who doesn't have q license?
You're correct, if you choose "Publish to web (public)", Google can index the report, and if you read the terms of use, Microsoft even reserves the right to publish it in their gallery if they want to. The two official ways to share a report with someone who doesn't have a license are to purchase 1) a Premium capacity subscription (this is different than a Premium-per-user license) or 2) an Embedded capacity subscription. There's also at least one third-party service that allows you to share your report with users who don't have Power BI licenses. It's not free, but it's cheaper than the above two options. I haven't used it myself, so I don't want to recommend or mention it here, but if you do some searching, you should be able to find it. Please let me know if that helps.
Hi Brandon. Thanks for sharing this amazing knowledge. Why do we need a domain to publish power bi to web, while we can register a MS365 enterprise trial account. In your tutorial to setup a MS365 enterprise trial account, i noticed that when MS365 enterprise trial account expires, we can still using power bi service. We can still login into MS365 admin using .onmicrosoft account instead of our own domain account, isnt it? So basically i dont understand why we need to setup our own domain, will it affect our service when trial expired? Look forward to hear from you.
Yes, you're correct--you don't need a domain to publish to the web. I don't know if the Microsoft 365 enterprise trial was available when I made this video, but if it was, I wasn't aware of it. I found out about it later and made this video that explains how to set up the MS365 E3 trial: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wxU4iSnBgh5keQmn .
Did you get your Power BI account from an organization you work for? If you did, you'll need to contact the Power BI admin for your org to enable the "publish to web" feature. As an alternative, you can create a separate email and set up your own tenant--I show the step-by-step in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html .
@Brandon Thank you for sharing your knowledge! In Addition, If you have Admin credential and still showing "Capacity Settings" then just logout and Login again because it worked in my case
Hello Sir, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to ask if it’s still possible to share a dashboard via 'Publish to Web' (Public Access) using the free Power BI service. I’ve created a report that I would like to share, but I’ve encountered some issues while trying to do so, as it doesn’t seem to work the way I’ve seen in videos on TH-cam. Thank you in advance for your guidance!
As a free user, you can only open reports created by another person if: 1) the person shared the report using the "publish to web" option, or 2) the person has a premium license (premium capacity or premium per user). The method I showed in this video is method #1 because that's the only truly free option on both sides (i.e., creator and viewer).
Hi Brandon, when I export my data on PowerPoint, I find that the report is actually interactive. Is it just the user that cannot interact with the report?
Is your Power BI account from your company/organization? If it is, you need to contact the Power BI administrator for your org to enable the "publish to web" feature. Or you can create a separate account and set up your own tenant--I show how in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html
I can't see anything like "get admin access" Option, even I created a free account based on your video tutorial. Could you please help me to sort out this?
Would this work as a workaround distributing reports to users in an organisation e.g. if it was embedded on company Sharepoint users with access to the SharePoint can view and interact with the report but it would not be viewable to anyone outside the organisation? I have a Pro license and can only share with other Pro users, so thinking this might save on having to upgrade to Premium. Thanks :)
Have the exact same question, but think like mentioned in the video, one is not allowed as per MS Terms to share info in this manner internally. Have you gone this route and did it work for you?
Benson, did you get your Power BI account from your company/organization? If so, you need to contact the Power BI admin for your org to enable the "publish to web" feature. As an alternative, you can create a new (free) Microsoft365 email address and set up your own tenant--I show how to do it in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html .
LOGGED IN with my current organization's account but unable to find admin option. there are only two options showing "AdIns & power BI" Only. please help
When you're on powerbi.com (i.e., the "Power BI Service"), if you click the gear icon in the upper right, you should see an option for "Admin Portal". Once you click on that, near the top of the Admin Portal page, you should see "Tenant Settings". If you don't see either the "Admin Portal" or "Tenant Settings", then you are not logged in as an administrator. You would need to use an account with administrator privileges. As an alternative, you can create a new (free) Microsoft365 email address and set up your own tenant--I show how to do it in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html
when i clicked to publish area "open in Popwer BI " it will open in Microsoft Fabric, And admin section is really different and i cant find the enable embedded part. Anyone has a solution?
Hi Sir, Can a free account user without trial period with viewer access role to Workspace access Power BI Workspace which is of wither Shared or Premium or can access Power BI App?
Yes, but only if the report is in a workspace that's hosted in a Premium capacity (which requires a separate subscription). Premium capacity is *not* the same as a Premium Per User license.
Yes, as I mention in the video, it's not advisable to share any private/sensitive information using the publish to web option. If you need a secure way to share, you would need to choose one of the paid Power BI subscriptions.
Question: with a Free account, how do you update the data for a report after it is published? *I think there is a button for me to manually refresh the report data, right?* Pretty sure you need to pay to schedule that?
Hi Scott, yes, you are right--there's a button in the upper-right on powerbi.com that allows you to manually refresh the data. And the Microsoft documentation does make it sound like you need a Pro or Premium account to use the scheduled refresh feature. However, in an old Power BI Community post, community.powerbi.com/t5/Power-Query/Scheduled-daily-refresh-for-free-users/m-p/142112 , the Microsoft moderator says it's possible to do a scheduled refresh with a free account. i haven't tried it yet, but if you get a chance to try it, please let me know if it works!
So, i can create a domain myself through Godaddy or someone else and use that id to sign to power bi desktop and create the account and publish it to power bi service? If so, let me go ahead and purchase a domain to explore this option. Thanks for your tutorial
hello brandon, in my case power bi app launcher is not getting open. It's just loading since last 2 hrs even tthough I refreshed it multiple times and refreshed it as well still facing the same issue.
Were you able to resolve this issue? If not, have you tried uninstalling Power BI and re-installing? I've seen issues launching Power BI in the past, but that was several years ago--I haven't heard of any similar issues since then. If you're using the version of Power BI downloaded from the Microsoft site, try using the app version from the Microsoft store instead.
I created a free account, however I can’t see my admin panel in power bi with all the options. I’m the only one in “my organization”, so I have no one to ask, it should be my account. Any ideas how to solve this ?
It's possible that Microsoft has slightly different options available based on geographic location. Where are you located? Also, when you click the gear icon in the upper-right of the Power BI Service (i.e., powerbi.com), do you have an option named "Admin portal"? If so, when you go to the Admin portal, what are the first few tabs you see? It should be "Tenant settings", "Usage metrics", "Users" etc.
I'm stuck at the point editing DNS. I created an account on GoDaddy and I don't know what to do. Seems like I have to pay to have a domain on GoDaddy? Is there any other way?? Or how to solve this? Please help. Thanks.
I published another video showing how to get a free Power BI account even if you don't have a domain. Complete step-by-step is here: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html
If your Microsoft 365 account is from your organization, your org will have an administrator, and you will need to contact the admin to enable the "publish to web" feature.
After you first set up your account, there is a short period where you may not see the all the options in admin portal. Just wait a bit, I thik it took about an hour for me. But after that you will see the settings. Follow his instructions as described.
Julius, how did you get your Power BI account? If it's from your organization, you need to contact the Power BI admin for your org to enable the "publish to web" feature. Or you can create a new (free) Microsoft365 email address and set up your own tenant--I show the step-by-step in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html
Hi Brandon, really good video. One question, if I embedded the report on a company internal website, is there any risk of someone putsode the company to enter?
Thank you, glad you liked the video! When you use the Power BI free account publish to web option, the report is publicly available, which means Google can even index it. Also, please read the Microsoft disclaimer carefully--it says that Microsoft has the right to display your report on a public website or public gallery. If you want to embed a report containing company data and you want users without a Power BI subscription to view the report, you should look into the Power BI Embedded capacity.
Thanks for your guidance! However, at step Verify you own your domain, It said i have to sign in to my domain host ->> please guide me how to create this step? Thanks so much
Thanks - very helpful. It would be good to know if you do have a premium account, what other share options do I have with my customers? Also, when you publish in to your workspace, can you create private workspaces for different clients? How does that all work?
For this video, I focused only on sharing with a free account, but you ask good questions. When you say "premium", are you referring to a Premium Capacity subscription, or a Premium Per User license?
Is this the only way you have been able to share without a license? Looking for other options to either embed in SharePoint online or in Teams with only the free version.
I'm not a SharePoint user, but if you click the "Teams" tab (on the left side of Teams), then click the "+" icon at the top, then choose "Website", you can enter the "publish to web" URL there. Let me know if that helps.
Microsoft changed the signup for the free email thru Microsoft 365. In my "free business email" video, some people asked a similar question. Here's what I wrote: "Microsoft changed the signup process after I created the video. However, you can still get a free business email and use the Power BI Service. Choose the Office 365 E3 Trial, go through the signup, but stop once you get to the payment info page--don't enter any payment info. At that point, you will have already set up your @onmicrosoft.com address, so just go to app.powerbi.com/. There, you will be able to log in and use the Power BI Service." Please let me know if that helps.
Interesting workaround, but after embedding the code other users have to login with their PowerBI account and it is showing me das test period of 60 days. I am really wondering if the users are still able to access the report after 60 days.
Sounds like you might have clicked on the 60-day Pro or Premium free trial. You don't need a Pro or Premium account to use the publish to web option. When you use the Power BI free account publish to web option, other users do *not* need to log in to view your report--the report is publicly available (and Google can even index it).
Hello! sorry but this didn't work for me at all! I don;t have any admin access options on the power bi page or in the Microsoft 365 account....any other ideas? basically my microsoft accoun doesn't have admin rights for some reason...and I don't have any other more "superior" accounts...so really stuck here!
Sorry again that you're having problems. As far as I know, the UK region doesn't have any restrictions. Microsoft has a comprehensive guide here that looks like it covers all of the potential issues: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web Have you seen that article? There's even a section that addresses what to do if you don't have admin access. Please let me know if that helps. One other idea would be to start from scratch and try to create a new Power BI free account. (It's possible there was a glitch when Microsoft set up your account.) I made a video showing the step-by-step here: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oPpCZVlCVRRLajJ- Note that Microsoft changed the process since I made that video, so just stop once the process prompts you for payment info. At that point, you will already have set up your new account, so no need to go any further.
is there a way to share a responsive dashboard for free? I mean without belong to a company with a pro account. embed to web requires an admin with a pro account, even if you have your own business email and a free power bi service.
If you have a Power BI free account, on the Power BI service (powerbi.com), you can go to File->Embed report->Publish to web (public), and that will give you a URL for your report that you can send in an email or publish to a website. (I show that in this video.) If you don't see that option, you need to go to the Admin Portal (gear icon in the upper right), then choose Tenant settings->Export and sharing settings->Publish to web, and make sure 1) the toggle is set to "Enabled" and 2) the "Allow existing and new codes" radio button is selected. (Also shown in this video). If you don't have access to the Admin portal or don't see the "Tenant settings" tab in the Admin portal, you are not the admin for your tenant. You would need to ask the admin for your tenant to change the setting for you. As an alternative, you can create a separate free account by following the steps in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html . (See my responses to the comments in that video for important changes to Microsoft's signup process.) Please let me know if this helps!
@@BrandonMichals the first 3 doesnt work, i can see the option but i doesnt let me to publish to web. and to log in to the admin panel you need a paid subscription. maybe a trial would work but i am not sure it would keep working after trial end. * i have my own business account, the problem is that to log in to admin panel and give my account the permission to share it needs a paid account.
If you want to DM me on Twitter @BrandonMichals and send me some screen shots, I can help you. (Or post a private video to YT and send me the link.) You definitely don't need a paid account to access the admin portal or publish to the web. Unless that's a special requirement based on geography--where are you located?
@@BrandonMichals I finally make it worked. I had to enable a setting from office website and then add a DNS record to my Cloudflare to prove that i am the owner of the website and then it let me to log in in the admin portal.
I'm using my organization email to register, but I still do not see 'Admin' after clicking the 'waffle icon'. Is it restricted by my organization? When I click settings, I have 'admin portal' ... but it is empty ... just 'Capacity Settings' and 'Refresh Summary' !!!???
Mohammed, if your Microsoft 365 account is from your organization, you will need to contact the Power BI admin for your org to enable the "publish to web" feature. Or, if you just want to use the Power BI service on your own, you can create a new (free) Microsoft 365 email address and set up your own tenant--I show how in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html
@@BrandonMichals btw, your video is the best, spent three hours looking for such info with no luck. There's publish to web or portal, and when I embed in my site it asks the public user to sign in. But I want it freely out without sign in. I got the idea that this can be done using Publish to Public Web, which my Power BI doesn't have.
Glad to hear you liked it. :) And yes, understood. In the video, I advise viewers *not* to use the "publish to web" option if there's anything in their report they wouldn't want to make publicly available. If there is, a user would want to choose one of the Power BI paid options--which is a separate (and potentially lengthy) topic. Here, I focused only on ways to share reports with a free account. Thank you very much for the feedback! I'm sure this comment thread will help other viewers.
Brandon thank you for posting this video. Almost at the end of the video HTML code can be generated to post to a website or shared online. With this bit I am having an issue. I keep getting a notification "Allow your Microsoft 365 services to process or store Power BI data which may be outside of your Power BI tenant's geographic area." I have enabled this option but it generates to code to paste to a website or portal but the code to share to the web or in an email where the recipient does not need a Power Bi account is not being generated. Help!
@@BrandonMichals Thank for the timely reply. We are based in The Netherlands, European Union. I was able to get a code to post to the web that can be seen by everyone. I think the problem was because I was posting the report from a custom/different workspace but the data was stored in My Workspace (data and report (visuals were split)). But later I saw that data and report (visuals) must be in the same workspace, even if the two are split.
Thanks for the update on this. Not something I've tried before, but I'm sure your findings will help someone browsing these comments. Appreciate your taking the time to post! :)
Thanks so much for the informative content.. Once you embed code and share the link , the recipient needs to have a Power BI PRO account. That is the only drawback. Is there anyway to share with a PowerBI free User ?
To share with a free user, you need to use the "Publish To Web" option. That does *not* require viewers to have a Power BI Pro account. All of the steps to do that are contained in the video.
Hi Brandon, interesting and educative video. However, I am unable to see the controls you highlighted for 'Admin' setup and 'Admin portal' on the web interface. I could only find one menu, which is 'Capacity settings'. What could be wrong?
Did you create a new Power BI account by yourself with your own business email address, or did you get your Power BI account as part of an organization you work for?
@@BrandonMichals Hi Brandon, thank you for getting back to me. I got my account as part of my organisation. Could this be the reason? How do I overcome this challenge?
Yes, that's the reason you don't have access to the Tenant settings. Your organization has a Power BI administrator. You would need to contact that person. Hope that helps!

Hello Brandon, really educative. Do you provide Power BI consulting services? We need to embed PBI reports on our website, but will like to control users that can access the report via user login authentication. Also my understanding is that with the PBI embedded software, there is a way to enable capacity usage only when users need to access the reports

Thanks for share, For me admin portal not showing all those settings, It show "Capacity Settings" and nothing else ??!!!
That's interesting Atul. I know Microsoft's admin screens can be a little buggy sometimes. Thank you for the follow-up!
Wow nice, but there is some issue to open reports as a free user. There is "Update Power BI Pro". What do you think about it? Thank you.
As a free user, you can only open reports created by another person if: 1) the person shared the report using the "publish to web" option, or 2) the person has a premium license (premium capacity or premium per user). The method I showed in this video is method #1 because that's the only truly free option on both sides (i.e., creator and viewer).
Great success! Thank you so much.
Sir, Will you please suggest me some way to host it on website(using react)
Hi Brandon, when I export my data on PowerPoint, I find that the report is actually interactive. Is it just the user that cannot interact with the report?
Hi Tom, what steps did you take to export?
Hello Sir,
I can not seem to find the Admin from the dropdown at 06:08 in your video, any advice?
Hi Brandon, however I dont see the admin app, any idea? Thank you
Benson, did you get your Power BI account from your company/organization? If so, you need to contact the Power BI admin for your org to enable the "publish to web" feature. As an alternative, you can create a new (free) Microsoft365 email address and set up your own tenant--I show how to do it in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html .
You're a Rockstar Brandon! thanks
Very kind of you, thank you! :)
Thanks a lot Brandon! :D
Brandon, thank you a lot
when i clicked to publish area "open in Popwer BI " it will open in Microsoft Fabric, And admin section is really different and i cant find the enable embedded part. Anyone has a solution?
Hi Sir,
Can a free account user without trial period with viewer access role to Workspace access Power BI Workspace which is of wither Shared or Premium or can access Power BI App?
I'm sorry, I don't completely understand what you're asking. Can you rephrase your question?
@@BrandonMichals Can a free account user(without Pro License) access reports present in Premium workspace
Yes, but only if the report is in a workspace that's hosted in a Premium capacity (which requires a separate subscription). Premium capacity is *not* the same as a Premium Per User license.
@@BrandonMichals Thank you for answering
Sharing it with web
Can have privacy issue how to resolve it
Yes, as I mention in the video, it's not advisable to share any private/sensitive information using the publish to web option. If you need a secure way to share, you would need to choose one of the paid Power BI subscriptions.
What a great idea to save pbi file on a shared drive!
So glad it was helpful!
@@BrandonMichals Hi! Its possible e to schedule updates on an free account, only 8 updates are allowed per day
Thank you for this Enrique, very much appreciated! :)
So, i can create a domain myself through Godaddy or someone else and use that id to sign to power bi desktop and create the account and publish it to power bi service? If so, let me go ahead and purchase a domain to explore this option. Thanks for your tutorial
these videos are amazing! Thanks BMics
Thanks so much for checking it out Alex!
hello brandon, in my case power bi app launcher is not getting open.
Thank you for this knowledg. 🎉👍🙏👏

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking. Can you explain in more detail?
Thanks for this!
I am not able to find Admin Settings in the waffle icon. What Am I missing?
If your Microsoft 365 account is from your organization, your org will have an administrator, and you will need to contact the admin to enable the "publish to web" feature.
After you first set up your account, there is a short period where you may not see the all the options in admin portal. Just wait a bit, I thik it took about an hour for me. But after that you will see the settings. Follow his instructions as described.
Agreed, sometimes Microsoft's admin settings take a while to appear. Thank you for adding your experience--I'm sure it will help someone!
Can i shar it by web whwn i had free business email account like zoho or altaddress ?
If you have a domain email *and* you own the domain, yes (i.e., youremail@yourdomain.com). Do those providers offer free email for your domain?
You are my money saver, thanks a lot🤣
If I'm a premium or pro user can I save a pbix file into a share drive and have free users be able to open it and view it live? Thanks for the video!
Admin button is not available on my options

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question. Can you explain a bit more what you want to do?

I just have capacity settings in admin. Does anyone know how to resolve this
Who is your Power BI administrator?
Thanks - very helpful. It would be good to know if you do have a premium account, what other share options do I have with my customers? Also, when you publish in to your workspace, can you create private workspaces for different clients? How does that all work?
For this video, I focused only on sharing with a free account, but you ask good questions. When you say "premium", are you referring to a Premium Capacity subscription, or a Premium Per User license?
Last option still valid as of August 2024 ?
Is this the only way you have been able to share without a license? Looking for other options to either embed in SharePoint online or in Teams with only the free version.
I'm not a SharePoint user, but if you click the "Teams" tab (on the left side of Teams), then click the "+" icon at the top, then choose "Website", you can enter the "publish to web" URL there. Let me know if that helps.
James, I made a video showing how to embed in Teams using the Power BI free version: th-cam.com/video/gYw0bogC0Bg/w-d-xo.html
how to fix this "To enable Publish to Web, you need to disable Block Public Internet Access first.??

Sir I don't have a business or student email what should I do the free version of Microsoft 365 is also not working currently..!!!!
Please help me sir
Microsoft changed the signup for the free email thru Microsoft 365. In my "free business email" video, some people asked a similar question. Here's what I wrote:
"Microsoft changed the signup process after I created the video. There, you will be able to log in and use the Power BI Service."
Please let me know if that helps.
@@BrandonMichals thankyou 😁
Happy to help!
I'm sorry this didn't work for you. How did you get your Power BI account? And in what geographical region are you?
@@BrandonMichals thank you for responding! UK and I got onmicrosoft email to register
Sorry again that you're having problems. As far as I know, the UK region doesn't have any restrictions.
Microsoft has a comprehensive guide here that looks like it covers all of the potential issues:
learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web
Have you seen that article? There's even a section that addresses what to do if you don't have admin access. Please let me know if that helps.
One other idea would be to start from scratch and try to create a new Power BI free account. (It's possible there was a glitch when Microsoft set up your account.) I made a video showing the step-by-step here: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oPpCZVlCVRRLajJ-
Note that Microsoft changed the process since I made that video, so just stop once the process prompts you for payment info. At that point, you will already have set up your new account, so no need to go any further.
I cannot see the publish to web option in PBI anymore
Were you able to see it previously?
Nice Video, your video really helped me
Thank you Rio, so glad to hear it was helpful!
is there a way to share a responsive dashboard for free?
I mean without belong to a company with a pro account.
embed to web requires an admin with a pro account, even if you have your own business email and a free power bi service.
If you have a Power BI free account, on the Power BI service (powerbi.com), you can go to File->Embed report->Publish to web (public), and that will give you a URL for your report that you can send in an email or publish to a website. (I show that in this video.)
If you don't see that option, you need to go to the Admin Portal (gear icon in the upper right), then choose Tenant settings->Export and sharing settings->Publish to web, and make sure 1) the toggle is set to "Enabled" and 2) the "Allow existing and new codes" radio button is selected.
(See my responses to the comments in that video for important changes to Microsoft's signup process.)
Please let me know if this helps!
@@BrandonMichals the first 3 doesnt work,
i can see the option but i doesnt let me to publish to web.
and to log in to the admin panel you need a paid subscription.
maybe a trial would work but i am not sure it would keep working after trial end.

So glad to hear it's working for you now!

Or, if you just want to use the Power BI service on your own, you can create a new (free) Microsoft 365 email address and set up your own tenant--I show how in this video: th-cam.com/video/Eyz7Pod_MgI/w-d-xo.html

how do you share several reports
Thanks for a great video. However, encouraging users to share reports by making them PUBLIC TO EVERYONE will be a big no no for many organisations!
@@BrandonMichals Hi Brandon, do you have a video on how to publish reports for company eyes only in paid version?

Found it: Only possible from My Workspace. But what about a custom/different workspace?
This is a good question--and thank you for the follow-up. I haven't run into the issue you mentioned yet. What is the region for your organization?
How can power bi allow that ! Since other users pay to share their reports????!
Having a Power BI paid account gives you more ways to share your reports and enables you to control access.
