Awesome! Thank you, you're an excellent instructor! Quick question, if an external user has only a free license, and the firm is not on capacity licensing, would the user still be able to view and interact with the report?
Hi Jonathan. There's a lot of wasted space there. Given not all reports are 16:9 or 4:3, wondering if you have a workaround to specify the dimensions of the embedded power bi content or have the container autofit without producing white space?
Hey, thanks for this video! Do you need additionally to share the power bi report with your final users/organization or share point page access covers power bi access?
Yes, anytime you want other users to be able to access the Power BI report, regardless of where it is being viewed, those users will need view permissions for that report from Power BI.
Thanks for sharing! I have a question- For example we have made a report only in power BI and no stats like an excel spreadsheet, does it give an option of downloading in form of spreadsheet?
Can power BI reports be embedded in a page or provided behind a log-in by individual user? If I do consulting and I’d like to give customers custom reports that they don’t really want to manage, it would be nice to be able to provide that service.
Great video! Just subscribed! Is it possible to embed a report that was created by hitting the "Visualize List" button on a SharePoint list? I keep getting an error message when pasting the URL.
Thanks for this. Very helpful. I have created Power BI visualisations from SharePoint lists from within SharePoint and would like to add the PowerBI reports as webparts to pages within the same SharePoint site. I find that this is not possible in the usual way - the web part doesn’t recognise the URL of the PowerBI report if it was from SharePoint integrated list. Any advice?

Can I allow users with No lisence inside my org to export data from a report which is published in sharepoint page. I am the report publisher & i habe premium lisence.
NOTE: No discussion of cost --- do the viewers of the report on the sharepoint need to pay $10.00/mo for the privilege? Sneaky MS resellers like to hide those details!!!

Unfortunately, we are not able to embed a Power BI app, only a report.
