I freaking love this watch. Such a lovely size for a 6.5" wrist. I picked one up the week they were released and now they've become really hard to find. When I wear it, it gets more compliments than any other watch in my watchbox.
Own a skipper myself since launch day, and still loving it ~! Only gripe I have, is with the date wheel- mine isn't centred like how it is @1:34... always triggers my OCD, but the overall package more than compensates for it. Just wished they'd keep it centred...
Never seen the strap in detail. I was told myself that these would be great on bracelets especially with the WR however looking at that strap, maybe it is the way to go?
This is a regular watch in the carrera line yet you can’t find it anywhere. Everyone is trying the “Rolex” way to do things and is starting to to annoy me
I find TAG consistently mimics Omega -- with Tag's design of this butterfly clasp here and the aquaracer's near identical profile of the seamaster, it seems like they are just effectively copying Omega's originality in an effort to find their place in the market as a company. For these reasons, I find TAG somewhat tacky.
The Aquaracer is a dodecagonal design, Omega Seamaster is round like a Sub copy 😂 equally the design of the Carrera is over 60 years old so I’d say it’s just your opinion that’s a little tacky here 😅
@@randombloke10 to split hairs here - the AR has striations across its dial (analgous to the SM) and the dodecagonal design is a near mimic of the scallops on the SM bezel. Also not sure why you had to make this personal and call me tacky?
@@matthewclune8352the latest version of the AR has striations but the previous had a squared off lug between each side. The SM always went for a more elegant scalloped bezel, the Planet Ocean is much more tool like with its striations but that is much more akin to a Submariner. The point is that no one is copying, these designs are constantly taking inspiration from each other but just as a Seamaster stands out from a Submariner, the Aquaracer stands out on it’s own too, it’s not tacky and Tag Heuer’s diving watches have a decent amount of heritage. The tacky comment is as unnecessary as the dig in at Tag, frankly I’ve seen Tag hated for years and it’s all BS that us owners have been trying to dismiss… finally we have some universally loved watches and people still, with no real reason have to hate on Tag which does feel like quite a tacky behaviour ❤️

In amongst all the high end stuff, I love to see me some TM TH love.
An honest brand. Smth like "We love your discovery, but not yet:)" has been the answer from TH to me.
I think TH has really knocked it out of the park on this one. Mine just arrived today, the watch looks super sharp.

Maybe bring it back to the watch shop to have it looked at? Date wheel should definitely look centered so if it's off that's not acceptable.
Probably my favorite Carrera to date, but I'm a sucker for minty colorways and regattas.
One of the best watches of 2023.

Sailcloth straps are often the stock strap on nautical/ maritime watches. I rather like it

Can’t get it. My AD was supposed to get 3 and still not one.

TAG used these clasps long before Omega. Aquaracers are 40mm & 43mm. Seamasters are 42mm.
