    Been to Puy Du Fou in France twice. Amazing place. Full day of high quality, high action shows. Each show between 20-30mins each and you have to choose which shows to see and which order. We have always said it would work well in Britain based on British history. There is nothing like it. Hope it happens.

      We went in 2017 and didn't know what to expect. We were blown away by it but only saw 5-6 shows as we didn't plan our route well. We went back last summer and blitzed just about every show as we planned our route the night before. @@UniversalUKNews

      Went to the French one on the weekend in May where it rained NON STOP. I can confirm it doesn’t dampen the mood. People rock ponchos and get on with it, and if anything the muddy mess ties in with what historic villages would actually have looked like

    • @bubbles2428

      I disagree. The rain might give the park a gloomy atmosphere which for any other park would be bad but for a medieval themed park would be absolutely perfect.

    The woman you are talking about here in the performance is Joan of Arc, look her up. But it is a park that showcases the history of France, just as the Spanish one shows the history of Spain, I'd reckon. So the UK one will probably showcase Britain's history with England and Scotland.

    I would love to go to a theme park like that, but how are they going to overcome the British weather, people wont want to sit in the cold and the rain and its like that most of the year round. English Heritage and Warwick Castle have jousting events etc but they only do them in the summer.

    • @UniversalUKNews

    • @tinseltits9855
      @tinseltits9855 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @UniversalUKNews I have good foresight. It'll be great for the first 6 months to a year, and then attendance will drop. Live actors and shows like that aren't cheap to run. Alton Dungeon prime example. Lasted, however long, then closed up.
      Alton Towers & Thorpe attendance will also be similarly effected upon opening of Universal, but I think they'll be okay.

    • @UniversalUKNews
      @UniversalUKNews  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@tinseltits9855 but the London and York dungeons that rely on these shows have been running for years and years... Just because Merlin made a weird choice to do an upscale attraction that takes ages in a theme park with short opening hours and ended up closing it to use the space for something else doesn't mean this will fail. I'm sure the people who have planned and opened two parks successfully will be planning this one carefully too
