    You do not mention torque specs. To me it seems to be an important part of an install. Especially when tightening anywhere a bushing is involved and on top of the puck.

    I have 35x11.50R20 (Nitto G2’s) on my 2014 Tundra. It has a 3”/1” leveling kit. I had to trim about 1” triangle off my front skid plate- other than that absolutely no rubbing no matter which way I turn on any terrain. There are times where I have less than 1/4” clearance but it clears!

      2 questions.
      What ur offset? And
      If I have 1/2 inch spacers on the front bumper. Would that prevent the front from rubbing if I were to put 35s, u think? Obviously the skid plate I would also have to deal with.

    Also too, a wheel alignment is recommended due to the lower cam bolts being loosened or removed. Headlights may need adjusting because the lift changes the angle.

  • @dickcod1
    @dickcod1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    is it necessary to add any additional suspension parts to keep parts properly angled? Maybe a deferential spacer kit?

  • @tireflipper8000

    If it isn't said below, on any rubber bushings you will want to tighten stuff down with the suspension compressed as to not put unnecessary twist on the bushings if its all tight off the ground and you set the truck down, it will twist the bushings and wont last as long.

    295/70/18 tires. (34.5" tall 11.50 wide) fit with no modifications. I was misled for a while thinking I would have to do bmc and plastic trimming but they don't rub at all with my stock wheel.

  • @jackboom9356
    @jackboom9356 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    For anyone watching from the North East, if your truck is anything older than 5 years in the rust belt, this job can be a nightmare. I suggest WD40 on every bolt/nut before even taking anything apart. Mines a 2016 and I spent over 6hrs doing this, and mainly because the lower control arms were stiff and every bolt seemed like it was ready to snap because of corrosion in the threads.
