When reading Jerry Takofsky's Wikipedia, his firing of Harrison Ford is prominent in the first couple of paragraphs. I guess he really was never able to live that down telling him "When Tony Curtis delivered a bag of groceries, he did it like a movie star. You just ain't got it kid." He's still alive and kicking too.

Haha this is very cool. Harrison seems like a man that is a little grumpy that he's getting old but is also aware that he's lived a full and extraordinary life. He is a class act and is pretty humble for someone that has been pretty much universally adored for nearly 5 decades. When he and Clint Eastwood pass will be sad days indeed.

My jaw dropped! *Jerry Tokofsky* is my neighbor! He’s actually a really nice guy and told me a lot of Hollywood stories. Was working in the mailroom when Katherine Hepburn took a liking to him (when he delivered a package to her house in his early 20s). She and Spencer took him under his wing. I can understand why he hasn’t told *this* story though… 🙉but do want to say for his sake he’s *not a pool cleaner* and seems to be doing ok with or without one of the greatest stars of all time and my personal favorite the “pretentious” Harry Ford. Loved this so much and tempted to talk to Jerry about this 🙊 🤣😎🥳

He was so kind and a true gentleman - he greeted me as i was entering a Submarine docking bay - He jumped out of his lawn chair and said hi so happily - i was star struck and taken back - i asked if he’s okay and he said he was just their to say hi to me !!! He opened his arms and i gave him a big hug and a handshake !! The AD started calling for me and like magic he was gone - no-one believed me until later ! ! I felt like a kid again ! He was my superhero as a kid as Han solo and still today !! True - so much fun to remember ! so thankful
