I feel as if she shouldn’t be referred to as “Chad Johnson’s daughter” anymore. She’s worked hard throughout her life to build her reputation in track and should be referred to as herself.
She's 14. Chad Johnson is the lead and the reason why most ppl clicked the link... When she's winning U20 Worlds or an NCAA champ, we can revisit this comment.
@@desmondlane7984 She's not 14; she's 18 and going to U20's THIS year.. this is just a throwback to highlight how good she was from such a young age. I just saw her compete at State which was in my home city this year and she's an excellent runner. The fact that she still won State by a mile and her time this year was slower than the time featured within this video where she was inching/breaking records at this age means a lot about how she should be referred to as THE CHA'IEL JOHNSON, and NOT "Chad Johnson's daughter."
Yeah I partly agree. Running 2:09 at 14 is INSANE, but having Chad Johnson as her father would give her recognition and probably get her into a better college that will train her well and make her a gold winning Olympian.

If she'd opened up in 62 or 63, the records would surely have been hers. She has many years. I hope she's running XC in the Fall. The great 800m/1500m runners all built their longterm endurance running XC.

She could use more to work on her form but her second lap, if she focuses, she can shave way more time off. Her second lap must’ve been 70 seconds.

I ran the 800 in a tournament for someone. It wasnt my event but I did it. I ran a 2:15. This kid is rolling.

Cha'iel runs just like her Dad. She has those hands open like she is ready for the catch. Her natural talent and focus overcame her poor running form. Something to work on. Only 14 years old. Took that race right from the beginning and did not let go.
