17:40 I keep hearing this talking point of “an exodus of southern Baptist women” by egalitarians. Is there the objective evidence to back this up versus mere antidotal claims?
I always appreciate Aimee's and Mike's opinions even though Mike should stop watching 80s gangster films. I do agree with the other commenter that maybe you'all were a bit more opinionated than usual? Maybe try for more Bavinck and Ireneus instead of Luther and Jerome?
10:17 Aimee is incorrect in saying Rick spoke for women - he was speaking and appealing for his church. If he chose to speak for women in general, then that was his choice. The woman pastor who was appealing for her church, got the same amount of time as Rick Warren did on the day of the appeal. It comes across as if you are looking for reasons to be offended by a denomination you both are not even part of, and is not guilty of all you are claiming. Although, such critique is not out of bounds , it is important to get the facts right.

Mike and Aimee have a lot of interesting things to say, but their smug condescension is a bit much to deal with.
Sadly, this is typical of these videos whenever Mike gathers with his EgalPals on this topic. The condescending mockery is ironic. They often talk about the TheoBros and their good ol’ boy smugness with an EgalPal smugness that is even more condescending.
