The criticism Aimee has received reveals more about the men who have given the criticism. Their rudeness, anonymity, sabotage, the malicious misogyny is mind-bogglingly atrocious. They are the ones who need to repent.

Michael takes joy in and relishes in the title of the book, but the provocative title can be seen as "gaslighting." What teachers should do is show how the Bible's teaching profits and blesses us by helping us understand what the Bible says about being godly men and women to fulfill our callings in life to benefit ourselves and our families. We shouldn't cast doubt on the idea that there's such a thing as biblical manhood and womanhood. The Lord wouldn't want that.

"Airy fairy non-denominational"
The Bible itself is certainly not airy fairy, and so any non-denominational church that stands solidly on the Bible is not airy fairy.
One other thing: what's your view of the idea that, on the matter of seeking to find a potential spouse, it is only appropriate for a man to pursue a woman and not the other way round, and that a woman should just wait to be approached by a man?
