A lot of people don't know but the remote to aftermarket radios are for when you're at a Park n chill event and control your music from outside the car.
So I did this but now my dash lights aren’t working. I had a left orange/white wire and a plain orange on the other side. They are for illumination but I’m not sure if they go together. Please help.

From what I have seen it is called a storage pocket from the single din kits.
