@@matttinklermusic Very useful! Do you have any suggestions for mapping 16+ parameters without grouping inst.racks within racks? Ableton Macros are fixed to 16 but maybe there is an alternative?
Each to their own! I enjoy both playing/composing music and also the technical stuff, as do a lot of others. I also find that, especially when it comes to using DAWs, understanding more of the technical stuff can make the playing and composing process a lot more efficient. :)
I agree there's definitely a lot going on on the screen, but all DAWs have the same issue really as there's a lot of information that needs to be seen at once! That said, if you go ahead and don't do a lot of diving into things, I actually find Ableton Live to be one of the least cluttered. :)
number 3 is awesome been looking for it since ever!
Glad you found it useful! 😁
OMG I had no idea about decimals in macro mapping. That's amazing.
It's so good hey! I put it up front because I've never actually seen anyone talk about it before but I've found it super useful!

Great info! I think many people will benefit from the techniques you show here. Live is to normal DAWs like modular synths are to normal synths.
Thank you for watching! I totally agree. Once you know how to use it, Live can become incredibly modular.
Technical stuff for the studio guy, I want to play and compose 🎼

Ableton looks like one massive clutter. Too much going on one one screen
