You have no idea how much I wanted a track switch as a kid, so I could have a rollercoaster loop a section before coming back. Of course I understand why they might not have done thing since it probably be pretty hard to calculate the excitement value of a coaster if people used it not for loops but as forks to essentially different coasters using the same station.
Keep up the great work! I still have not played any of these games in well over a decade... Your videos are just freakin' awesome though! Making me want to get Open RCT2!

Hallo Marcel, bedankt voor deze video, en al je andere video's die je nog steeds maakt...Ik ben al jaren met RCT2 bezig en nog niet zo lang met OpenRCT2. Ik wil zoiets dergelijks doen voor een trein-ritje. Is het mogelijk om een loop te bouwen, waarbij de trein de ene keer linksaf gaat om een rondje te maken, en de volgende ronde rechtsaf te gaan zonder elke keer de kleuren te moeten veranderen ? Ik zou zelfs al blij zijn als dit volledig random gaat, maar ik probeer dus een treinronde te maken met diverse routes door het park zonder elke keer een nieuwe treinrit te maken...Het zou het beste zijn als dit één en dezelfde attractie is. Bedankt voor de hulp
@@stephensardos6418 It is a scenario in RCT1, and I could do it, but there's not a lot to it. All it takes is a bunch of small coasters or roto drops to get the required park value.
I’ve been trying to get this to work on a slope but it never works the way I want. Trying to have the car launch up the slope and not quite make the top, then fall back and switch tracks. Any ideas?
@@PinkSquirrelProject If I understand correctly you are trying to do this: i.imgur.com/4zI40TR.png, with the coaster getting on the twister track when it's going backward. If you build is like this: i.imgur.com/WaMTGI5.png, then it will work. You need to first build the twister track and then build the corkscrew track into it.

It's actually super easy, just take the downloaded scenery ZIPfile, extract the scenery file, and move it to RCT2's Object Data file.
Great for trains in realistic parks ;)

Will a non looping coaster go through a loop if diverted onto a looping coaster's track?
