    I've ridden that on my motorcycle and thought it was sketchy...but holy hell. Watching your rig on that stretch made me pucker up. Yikes.

      We encountered a couple Jeepers who thought the same thing. But it was rather uneventful and we've been on rougher tracks. Can't beat the view!!!

    Send it! South of the border there would be huge passenger busses on that road…

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right?? It's funny how our "off road" are normal roads in other countries. Still lots of fun!

    That place is really cool , reminds me of noon day trail...

    Hehe my kind of people. I've taken my ram 2500 places people say are atv only. All it takes is a solid set-up, 4x4 knowledge, and in some cases some balls lol! BTW we run almost the same set-up (although personally don't do Ford 😉) 99 ram 2500 2.5inch lift on 35s. Happy adventures!

      BTW Idaho is a stunning place and I'm proud to call it home.

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Often an adventurous spirit and experience can get you there! And if nothing else... an exciting time!! Doesn't matter the brand but where you go. :)

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What is you favorite area in Idaho?

    • @KelliGrayoffroad
      @KelliGrayoffroad 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mostly run the Owyhees but also have a soft spot for the Danskins.

    • @KelliGrayoffroad
      @KelliGrayoffroad 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And no brand don't matter in the least. As long as it's what you want and does what you need then it's perfect.

    That truck is very capable even with a camper.. Rear locker would be standard with a certain selection. Just need to put a locker on the front, which they did... Ford does have limited slip front with the tremor which has been awesome for the superduty.

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is! And fully selectable locking differentials are extremely beneficial for control and slow speeds. Much better than the clutch style Tremor differential.

    A couple of buddies and I were wheeling. We had stopped in a clearing for lunch. We had some locals stop and tell us that we probably won’t be able to get through the trail. I asked which direction they were referring to. They pointed to the trail we had already driven through. LMAO

    It's crazy where you take that set up......may I make suggestion? Maybe in the corner you could have a slope meter/gauge so people can actually get how bad these trails are? Just a thought.

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great suggestion. Not sure how we could do that... love the idea.

    Love the content and am impressed on where you can go with the hard side. Can you show more about day to day life in the camper? Your cooking setup, storage, eating, working? Thanks!

    Omg! You guys rock. Do you have lockers on the rear and front axles? How much does your camper weigh? What is your winch name brand and specs? Thank you for sharing your great adventures!

    • @TruckCamper
      @TruckCamper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Check out earlier videos for full truck build details... Front differential has OX air locker. Rear differential is factory e-locker. Camper is around 1,800lbs dry. We are about 3k lbs loaded. Winch is Smittybilt X20 12k.

    "No Trucks, Jeep Only" Peter: Challenge accepted.
    As I watched, I couldn't help but think, "This is exactly what their truck was built for."
    Just moments before Faith said you had a few branches to clear, I was also thinking,
    "What, no trees." (winking)
    I really enjoyed the drone footage of the tower; the music was a nice addition too. A beautiful location and some nice videography. Nicely done, you two.

      Most of them are locked up. Many of the lookout towers are "for rent" through the forest service and you can make reservations.
