Thanks!! I couldn't figure out how to get the glove box out and every other video just say remove the glove box without showing how. Thanks for walking through each step!!
JB I just changed my cabin filter out. I bought this truck (2019 2500 diesel Ram) and perhaps now of the air filters were ever changed. Both were extremely dirty with 52K. I agree with you and the kn filters. The cabin filter was a little tough for this 72 yo with bad hands but I finally got it. Thanks for the video
I come for the smoothness. but I also love to see people helping people, and JB's the man. I do this myself too but kudos for showing it others !! Nothing is more satisfying than gettin'er done yourself ;)
JB, I also put the date and Mileage on the edge of the filter. That way, I can keep track of the last time I change it. I do the same for gas car oil filters.
Just got a new/new to me 2020 ram 2500 with the 6.4 hemi, with 12500 miles, wanted the diesel but this will do for now atleast for a few years… just picked up air filters after watching this and changed them
Nice video. I do all of our routine maintenance (oil, filters, tire rotations). I don’t know how much money it actually saves (definitely saves on the Camaro) but I don’t mind to do it and I know it’s getting done. I always write everything down in a book too so I have that information. The dealer always wants to make copies of it when I trade vehicles so they can show the next owner how well things were maintained. I always change oil at 3000 miles in gas vehicles. I did 5000 in my diesel and I will say this if you do change your own diesel oil you better definitely wear rubber gloves or else your hands will smell like diesel oil for a long time!
Thanks Matthew, I haven’t tackle oil changes although I watch the techs when they do it 😅. I guess I want to make sure it’s getting done too, thanks for sharing this info 👍🏾
Thank you for time and detailed instruction on preventive maintenance on your vehicle, so many skip the little details that make a big difference, I have been dragging tools befre i could speak whole sentences but it's always nice to see something that i might miss especially that as im older now with health problem i miss thing some times . great job young man.
Thanks for the videos, I just changed my cabin and engine filters myself. Fram CF11671 is the cabin filter and Puroltator A56314 engine filter both looked like the Mopar filters that were in there.
Thank you John for the part numbers, I was about to search for them, you just saved me the time. The RAM dealer quoted me $70 to replace the cabin filter and $75 to replace the engine filter ($145 total).
Hello, thanks for the video. I just watched your video and did my cabin filter I just bought from the dealer today. Only one mistake. I couldn't figure out the clip for the black cover. I would say it's important to say the clip is opened from the farther side and opens up by pulling out and not pushing in like many clips. I Broke the one on the right. Also, on the glovebox, the push-ins are of different heights with the left being half way up, the left side is much harder than the right. Thanks for the tip on the discounted filters.
@@JB_WhoWork I just had the oil change done for free under the 2 year warranty, or shall I say 2 year free oil changes and tire rotations. They have my truck set up for oil changes at every 7K miles.
I like your video JB. if you change fuel filters can you do a Video on Genos Garage Front Fuel Filter stock Cap replacement? It is a very nice cap for your make and model truck and thought you'd add one to your truck. The cap not only looks great, but it snugs up really easy. I bought one because it is easier to install than the plastic-to-plastic cap where it will not strip the 28mm wrench fitting it requires. It's a hand tight cap where the dealer stock cap spec calls out for 22 ft lbs. Again, Thanks for a good video.
Great Channel. I have just bought a new 2021 RAM 2500 6.4 Gas Hemi, Reg Cab, Long Box Tradesman Lv 2, Snow chief with sprayed in bed liner.... I love it and some of the reviews you did on 5th generation Ram 2500 3500 helped me to decide. I have a question. I installed the OEM front bumper lower grill and tow hooks torquing to specification requirements.... The front emergency recovery tow hooks float a little with loose tolerance and I am thinking that is okay because typically tow bar at rear are typically loose for removal and swap-outs without seizing up from corrosion. If you were to walk up to a new RAM 2500 3500 and grab the front tow hooks, would they have a little play in them as I am experiencing, is this the normal fit from OEM installed hooks? Thanks, in advance.
Hello sir, thank you for making all these great videos. Do you have any opinion on Doc’s Diesel Filters? I’m having a hard time finding any negative review on them, they’re competitively priced and seem to make solid stuff.
Thanks!! I couldn't figure out how to get the glove box out and every other video just say remove the glove box without showing how. Thanks for walking through each step!!
I'd like to see you change the front and rear differential fluid.

Your effort in making this video is much appreciated. I am going to order up the filters and give this a try.
Great videos nice camera work and lighting! Keep it up!
Thanks Michael!
Great video young man. Very well done.
Cheers from Spring Creek, Nevada
Thanks for the video. Your video walked me thru changing my cabin air filter.
Good stuff 👍🏾
Could you please send me the video

I replaced both filters every 30k miles which is about once a year for me. I run wix filters and I’ve had great luck with them
Thanks for sharing!
Right on bro! People should definitely do their own maintenance as much as they can. Just did oil today. Fuel and air filters tomorrow. 💪
Nice, how often are you doing oil changes? I typically do mine at 10k. Thanks 👍🏾

I didn’t know about that cap, thanks for sharing and I will have to put this on my list 👍🏾
Good video!! Easy to follow along and understand. Thanks!!
My truck has 77 000km on it and my filter was black and moldy. I've been very sick lately. Probably the cause
Thanks! Nice to know we can do quite a bit of our own maintenance. I appreciate the videos!
🤝
Wow, thank you exactly what I needed!
Thanks for the video!
How many miles on filter?
When it's dirty, change it...
@@Mmmmmppppppp, I know this , when it's dirty change it. It's not what I asked.
It was actually 23k on these filters
I do 50k
@Wagon19 You running K&N?
Broke a tab off the cabin filter cover and there's a crossmember in the way of the air filter. I think I'll have the dealer take care of it next time.
Thinking a 3500 is different then what he's showing.

Thanks I have not, sorry
Use a vacuum instead of blown air, your more likely to blow dirt back in vs vacuum
Thanks!😅
Time for K&N cold air intake filter.
I know right, I thought about it, but $26.95 sounded a lot better 😂!
S&B KIT
save yourself some ### and buy a k-n cabin air filter easy to clean and will end up a lot cheaper than the over priced cabin filter
Barely compressed both clips. Both snapped off.....f#!# it!
Yep a dealer woulda charged you out the ass for this simple maintenance.
I believe it’s $400+ for the service…
