For that Billy club looking pipe, he used that in the final fight at the tower. It was when Batman was using his sonar, Joker beats him to the ground with it at the dogs are biting at him. Great review, as always!
Filix Toys is blowing away even Mezco… the only thing is their wrist pegs might be a bit flimsy Can’t wait to see their 89 Jokers; the regular Jack and the mime Joker too
The knife is extremely flimsy too. Plastic is very brittle and I broke the switchblade by accident without much pressure at all. Glued it back together but it doesn't look the same. But the details are amazing despite these minor qc flaws.
Mine came in Monday and 100% can confirm, this guy is great! He fits in perfectly with my Mezco Jokers; so much so I gotta grab an extra stand to fit him in even more. Well down Felix, I’m here for anything else y’all wanna put out, licenses be darned.
Excellent review for an excellent figure. My problems with it are the same as yours: I wish it had more head options and I wish it scaled better with other Nolan Batman figures. Though I would love to see them do a Dark Knight Two-Face next
I loved the Joaquin Phoenix Joker figure from Filix toys, but there was also virtually no other options for figures of that character. Now I've got plenty of Jokers, but for the live-action versions I tend to be one and done, plus my collection is a mix of 6-7 inch scale stuff, so I'm fine with the Neca version of Ledger's Joker as my one and only for this iteration of the character. This figure still looks great, I love that they loaded it to the brim with accessories. My only minor nitpick is on the standard head the streaks of makeup going down, at least to me, look a bit too much like paint splats rather than running makeup. Maybe it's just the lighting but every review I've seen the eye makeup looks a little too watery to me, like its not been properly blended with the face and looks more grey than black. Then again the further distances shots looks good, maybe I'm just used to the eyes contrasting more since that's how other figures usually do it. Who knows, heck I don't even really know what I'm saying, but it's a good looking figure either way.
Great review. I didn’t realize those were punch out playing cards. Mostly LOVE this figure! Only small issue is that my head doesn’t stay on very well, and it is difficult to put it back on because of the shirt. Other than that, it a near perfect 6” Heath Ledger Joker.

A bit of a bummer that he's taller than the Mafex DK. Ah well. I'll fudge it somehow. Thanks! Edit* Heath Ledger was actually taller than Christian Bale by over an inch. Still doesn't scale, but makes it less worrisome for sure.

Hope you're getting some kind of kickback on these because I've already bought the Ink blot and Aehab figures that you've reviewed and this review has me seriously considering getting this "Clown". Just wish Lim toys would release a reworked "Aehab" so that he looked like he did in Metal Gear Solid 3.
This looks amazing. I'm very tempted. I'd really like to be able to get every iteration of Joker in the same style and scale - from Romero to Leto. But that seems an impossible feat. I don't know that even Hot Toys has done that.
The torso moves more than what you showed and also the jacket was easy to remove and put on with me Well tbh this is a good lightness but coming off from the recently released inart 1/6 scale joker this doesn't look as impressive as it would be if I hadn't seen that guy, which being honest that guy is the best Heath Ledger joker at any scale even compared to 1/4 scale figures
Just checked. The scale is correct, heath ledger stands at 6 ft 1 and Joaquin phoenix is 5 ft 8. Was thinking about this as an issue but now i think i will want to buy it.
Heath Ledger joker is becoming one of my most repeated figures in my collection. Iron Fist, Thor, Darth Maul, Ledger. Mafex, NECA, this, soon McFarlane. He's a unique take on the joker but one that's always the first I think of
Awesome figure. For me the one i love is the beast kingdom figure. The batman is good too. The black pipe is from the end of the movie during their final confrontation joker beats batman with pipe. Great review.
The thing at 7:10 that you said is kind of a pipe I think is the think the joker used to hit batman with when the the dogs and him atacked the batman on the fight before he got caught.

I got mine today and I'm just as impressed as you are! One question - did you have a hard time getting the alternate head to fit? On my copy it looks like the hole is actually smaller than on the main head
This is the 800th comment about this I bet, but the pipe is for the end of the film, with the dogs and the skyscraper. I personally woulda threw in a duffle bag or a bodybag. Pipe is a weiiiiiiird option.
Okay Batman's supposed to be taller than the Joker (depending on artist), but I'm pretty sure Heath Ledger was a few inches taller than Bale. So you can easily justify it (pairing w/shorter Batmans) that way. However IMO they're toys, they don't have to "fit to scale" if you don't want them to, and if you Need them to, then you have a literal world full of options, from hunting down "the perfect one" brand new, or second hand, to making your own "perfect one" by kit-bashing, or sculpting, or re-engineering "trash". Literally the only limitations are your imagination and resources

I think the pipe on 07:08 was at the two ships scene. The Joker held that pipe while fighting Batman and waited for the explosion

That's a fantastic head sculpt. I'm not a big fan of soft goods, though. That head on the MAFEX body would be the ideal Joker in my mind.

You probably didn't line it up correctly. When you push it all the way in, you can feel/hear a small pop.
Mine came with the heads in a separate box and I cannot get the damn head on. The shirt collar keeps getting in the way. It is pissing me off. Lol

Best 1/12 version out there. The height may be debatable for the scale but you can always make it less by removing the sheen area part.

True, but there's also proportions. Pairing this Joker with MAFEX or SHF, Batman looks like a kid in a suit.
