You are driving the BEST Sports Sedan On EARTH . Enjoy it, don't hurt it. Or rev it just for the sake of it, especially when not driving.
Talking about Loud exhaust at RACE. My Alfa-Romeo dealer was able to put on the same LOUD mode all the time - for all modes. It is a simple. less than 30 min job, and is completely reversible and keeps the original warranty. It is superb. My Qiulia QV is red competione with sparco sports seats and CCB breaks. Great Car !

Why aren't these a runaway success?!!! It's so much better looking and sounding than anything German! I love how Ed goes for the left field cars!

Popularity is lagging for several reasons. First and foremost, lack of brand name awareness to the general public compared to competitor German brands. Second, to those who are aware is reputation for reliability or lack thereof. Third, is lacking dealership support for repairs. All of these may have improved in recent years but remain constant themes in comments sections of almost every Alfa Romeo video.

Montecarlo Blue. Worth noting this is the first series Giulia. Later models have been refined including with upgraded interior quality.

Great review. New to the Alfa world as we got a 22 Veloce Giulia back in Sept and love it so much. I want a Stelvio quad so much now and hopefully one day I will have one.

Had 2 x 4cs and 1 x giulia QF.
The 4cs are head Turners and brilliant cars. The QF though is probably the best car alfa have ever made....both awesome cars...

I have a 2019. Have it a year. Had 3 M3s before the qv. The qv is a blast to drive on the limit. Seriously focused performance car. Race mod with dampers on mid with Michelin pilot 4s tires is the perfect combination
The more I think about tires I do think I’ll settle on 4 new Pilot 4S. Have you driven on any other tires to compare?
@edduerden9257 yeah had yokohama advans on before the pilots. Pilots are insane. You can drive the car in the wet in race mode and not lose traction ( most of the time)
@@johncreedon7847 I had Pilot Sport 4S on my Jag when we did a wet track day and I was overtaking everyone! They’re a good all rounder

Hi lads. I’ve got pretty the identical car.. same colours and spec, same comforts seats etc.. only difference it’s a 68 plate with yellow callipers.
You can get the exhaust modded with a device that opens the valves in any mode. I just press a button and they open and close.
The A of DNA is Advanced efficiency. Great on long runs, it shuts down half the engine for short periods to save on fuel

Is that efficiency function cylinder deactivation or an engine shutoff during stops?
@@jamesaron1967 apparently it shuts off 3 cylinders for short periods when you’re at cruising speed. They kick back in when needed.

I had front splitter replaced £1800 - underground car park in Newquay the locking plate jammed so didn’t retreat into ground split the splitter 😢

What made you choice the alfa quad instead of g80 m3 Competition or audi rs5 Compétition ? I have a rs3 for the moment but before government forces me/us to buy electric ... One last time maybe with a good sporty noisy car 😊
I am hesitating between those 3...
I did consider both but for me I preferred the styling of the Alfa, plus I wanted RWD which discounted the Audi. The M3/M4 are also quite a bit heavier, the driving experience of the Alfa was immense. They’re all great cars but if you’re wanting to experience one last IC engine before going electric, the Alfa would be a great swan song that you’ll never forget!
