I am rolling my very first healer after playing since launch. I ran across this guide and I am so glad that I did! Fantastic job explaining necro healing, I'm sold.
Hi! Would this setup work in a vet trial? Magma incarnate - medium Spaulder of ruin - medium Spellpower cure - light Elemental catalyst - jewelry with restoration & destruction staff for main & back bar Front bar - Illustrious healing / Energy orb / Combat prayer / Empowering grasp & Enduring undeath or Echoing vigor + Barrier ultimate Back bar - Scalding rune / Unstable wall / Overflowing altar or Blast bones / Unnerving boneyard & Spirit guardian + Pestilent colossus ultimate Thank you for all your healing guides ! They are helping a lot on how to be a healer . Have a nice day !
Yes, should work well. I would generally not use Empowering Grasp. It's pointless unless your group consists of heavy attack builds that don't have empower themselves. And in most situations I would prioritize Braided Tether over Enduring Undeath.
@@FakeFox that´s great ! I did remove Empowering grasp and replaced it with Braided tether and am keeping Echoing vigor instead of Enduring undeath. Thank you for your help !
Hey, it might be a dumb question, but i have to ask i run spc/ec/slimecraw head and spaulder of ruin on a necro, i have ec jewels feet and gloves, and staffs and the rest is spc, does it work like that? Do i need jewel and staff EC and chest, hands, waist, legs, feet spc? How does it work this back and front bar? Im running my resto on front and destr on back, thanks in advance i apologies if its not that clear, but i cant understand how this front/back works
I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly, but I'll try to answer it. Game mechanically there is no difference between the two ability bars. "Frontbar" and "backbar" is a concept made up by the players. "Frontbar" means the weapon you will have active most of the time and where you tend to have your shorter duration skills and strong passives, "backbar" means the secondary weapon. Making that distinction makes sense from an optimization standpoint. For example, if you use a destruction and a restoration staff on a damage focused build, you want to spend as much time on the destruction staff as possible, because it has better damage passives. What set you have in which gear slot can matter. Firstly if your sets are different armor types, you want to use the set with the more optimal armor type as armor. For example, if you wear SPC and Saxhleel Champion as a healer, you want to ideally have chest, hands, waist, legs and feet of SPC and weapons and jewelry of Saxhleel Champion, because you want to wear light armor and not heavy. Secondly, there are many sets that don't need to be active on both bars. You want to use weapons of these sets, so you can additionally use an ability altering weapon or mythic. For example, if you are a healer wearing SPC and Master Architect you want to have a MA destruction staff, because you only need to have that set active on the bar you use your ultimate on. Then you can additionally have a Master Restoration Staff as your other weapon and gain basically an additional set bonus. Apart from those two scenarios it doesn't matter. In your example both sets are light armor and active on both bars, so you can combine them any way you want. I hope that answers your questions.
A Combination with Jorvuld's Guidance is significantly weaker than just wearing two regular support sets, as Jorvuld's only increases the effect of the other set by 40%. With Roaring Opportunist that is worth while in trials, as it's a particularly strong buff that is otherwise difficult to get to a good uptime. For Saxhleel Champion that's not the case because it has other sources that are more efficient than pushing it with Jorvuld's. Saxhleel and Jorvuld's is not bad, but combining it with for Example Spell Power Cure, Master Architect or Elemental Catalyst will be stronger.
I don't think so. It got nerfed quite heavily, particularly with the empower rework and additional major vulnerability sources. Both Warden and Nightblade are considerably stonger now, in my opinion. Necromaner is never the less still relatively good.
have you tried nightblade healing tho? also I mean things are harder using class skills but using the same weapon skills as every other build makings this game kinda dull theses days

@FakeFox is restoration staff is the best weapons for him right
Is Necromancer with slimecraw, spaulder of ruin, spc, elem. catalyst still the best option for arenas and dungeons?

I use Power Assault w/SPC
