Terrific, not much different than the speed screen actually. I have the same windshield on my MS fairing and definitely will order probably a 13 inch for winter riding.
I have to say this is probably one of the best install videos I’ve seen. Running into and dealing with those issues are exactly the things that add a lot of value to these and make these extremely helpful (and fun to watch), thank you so much for putting this together. I also have to say I am becoming a HUGE fan of you channel, I love the honesty in all your vids! Also, you have a super nice bike
I have it all done but button down up for final fit. What a hassle not as easy as your video you made it look easy because you are a better mechanic than me. Thanks for the video it helped.
It's always harder than a video - I totally agree! And doing the light and the fairing definitely adds more time than if you just did one. Glad you got it done!
I’ve watched a lot of install videos On the road warrior and this was the most helpful it seemed in the other videos they made it seem much more of a pain in the ass this was straight to the point and a huge help thanks for the content 🤙
Great how to video. Wish I would’ve found it before I asked somebody to install my faring. All good I’m excited to get home this weekend to ride my 2020 Lowrider s with my Memphis shade faring‼️
Great video! Will be doing the same light and fairing to my '21 LRS this weekend! So with the Moons light, you do NOT need the shroud Memphis Shades sells, since you can't use the bucket from Moons and their shroud together obviously correct? I'm just wondering what specific spacers I'll need to buy, and where, for the headlight! Thank you!
Loving your mods! I did the Moons MC v3 taillight today and will be doing the Road Warrior fairing this weekend 🤘🏽 Need that headlight in my life. Such an underrated mod! Love your content btw. Binging through it.
Like your choices of upgrades. Very clean and smart, nothing gaudy. That LRS is looking 👍 good! It's my particular favorite present HD. Wish I could buy yours when your done with it! Not a Willie G, a Moto Blonde designer series....
Haha - hey Harley! Hire me!! Thank you so much - I appreciate that! There's a fine line somewhere between clean gaudy. Hopefully I restrain myself before I cross it!
Nice video love the headlight. Once I have the fxrt here painted cuda gray I’m thinking of going with that headlight to incorporate the turns so I don’t have to relocate my stock turns. Be careful out there don’t want to loose to many neurons with them hits.
Enjoyed the video. I found you originally on IG and followed that account to find you here. I also have a 2020 FXLRS (in black of course) and enjoy seeing what others are doing to their bikes. Really wish I had found you sooner; I'm deep into Quadlock gear and could've saved a ton with your discount code. Anyway; great video, fun watching you turn a wrench. :)
Thanks, real informative. Too bad I can't get one for the sportster. I have a 1200c and went another direction though. Are those the rogue rider signal lights?! I just got them not long ago and love them
Just some feedback: acceptable wind noise, audio is very clear, I like how it looks. Need to know how well the headlight works in actual use, and best of all, I'm tall enough to see over the windshield. You're a very competent "wrench."
Really great install video. As for those bracket screws, I've removed a lot screws doing installs before but have never encountered any that were installed at the factory that tight. Had to be put on with 263 Loctite which meant that Harley really didn't want those to ever be removed. Sorry, Harley.
Did you find the light did not want to centre on the silver ring that came with the kit? Mine is smaller than the light so it slides around on it and does not like to stay entered.
it took me 45 minutes to loosen up the headlight I think they used super glue too. What a pain that was. I was losing my confidence at that point but finally got it loosened.
My name's Drew and I'm in Madison, WI area. I have a 2015 softail slim. In regards to your question about who else has to have all the fastener heads lined up in the same direction... I'm the exact same way. I had to make sure that the Phillips head screws for the brackets that hold the backrest pad on my sissy bar were all lined up the same way. One question for you is how do like that headlight at night over the stock daymaker?
Hey Drew! To be honest, I don't do a ton a night riding out here - and I didn't do much past dusk with the stock light before I changed it right away to the Moons. It's definitely brighter and I think it lights up a bigger area, but I can't really make a fair judgement because I just didn't use it that much.
Oh ok. I was only wondering because I work second shift so it's dark out when I leave work. I've been considering the daymaker because my buddy's 2019 slim came factory with the 7" daymaker where as my 2015 slim came factory with the 7" halogen headlight. I put one of those Sylvania silverstar bulbs that is supposed to be whiter and brighter in mine and it's definitely an improvement over the stock halogen bulb but the 7" daymaker is still considerably brighter than that. So I was just curious about what you thought since you have both. Thanks for the reply though. I appreciate it.
Hi Moto.blonde HD👑, I was just checking back to see if you had swapped to try the 11" shield yet. I never had a shield on any of the bikes I've owned. Thanks for all your work and info. You've stirred my interest now. Have a great holiday! 👍😎
Can you put desctiption for mounting kit , headlight extension, and windshield as well can you give feedback for big radius 2 into 2 got feedback that is not good for power only for sound
There will be different part numbers if you don't have a Low Rider S - happy to though if you do! As far as the big radius - I know that 2-1 give more power than 2-2 - but I really liked the sound and the look of the big radius. Eventually, if I do more upgrades I will probably change it - but for now its fine for me!
@@MotoBlonde thank you for your replay , I need parts for Low rider S and I do have same thoughts in regards of big radius , I really like the way they look and sound again thanks for replay

Where did you buy the spacers from? I went to Home Depot out here in Cali and couldn’t find shit. Pretty upset that we spend a good amount of cash on these head lights and still have to rig it.
As someone who hates hitting their head.... watching you hit your head not once but twice especially after steipping some bolts made me so sad. But you did a great job 👏

Desperate for the headlight bracket that pushes the headlight forward in the fairing. who at Memphis shades did you speak with to get one? its no where on their site.
When you buy the RW Fairing, there's an option to add the headlight extension bracket - you can contact them or you can search for it at another shop who may carry it - I think I got mine at Get Lowered Cycles - just make sure you have the right part # for your bike if it's not the FXLRS - this is what mine was: headlight extension kit #MEB9882. Hello, the windshield looks just rite to me
I'm only seeing the chrome trim ring on Memphis Shades. Did you paint it black or did that come with Moons headlight?
Came with the Moons bucket
Great video as always! What torx size did you use to get the stock bracket off?
