  • I've been checking out all the 5.7x28mm handguns and came across this wild looking pistol, the Kel-Tec P50. It uses FN P90 Magazines and while it looks like something on Star Wars, it's a very soft shooting and well balanced firearm. #KeltecP50 #57x28mm #Keltec

The original RoboCop movie the best of the RoboCop movies . My dad generally didn't want to see it because he isn't generally a scfi kinda guy but I whined and pleaded with him and we saw it and his grin after seeing the movie was awesome. Fond memories.

Just decided to take the time to let you know I really appreciate your review videos...especially your straight-from-the shoulder, thorough presentations
of all the things I need to know before buying a new firearm. You are my go-to reviewer and, given all the gun reviewers participating, that's saying a lot!
Hope you'll keep up the good work and, I really enjoy hearing the full sound of actual firearm reports instead of the 'hand-grenade-down-a-well' reports
that other reviewers are presenting. Pete from Prescott

I purchased the P50 right as it became available. I also paid the higher cost for it. I absolutely love my 5.7 chambered weapons. As for the mags that it came with was not happy, both the pro mags just failed me during the loading process. So I purchased the P90 mags and haven’t had any issues what so ever. This is a very accurate pistol even with the low profile built in Iron Sights. It does what it’s designed and supposed to do and I’m looking forward to running this platform for many years to come.

I really enjoy your videos!! I’m somewhat new to owning firearms and if I have a question about a gun I usually see if you have a video on it before asking around.
Growing up my dad was HUGE into guns and collecting them. (I on the other hand didn’t care for them back then, I was huge into guitars!!)
It’s very hard for a newby like myself to get any good information on firearms because there’s so many gun snobs out there!!! Seems like if I’m interested in a gun and ask someone their opinion, it’s “trash”, but if they own it, it’s the best gun on the market! 😂
Wish my dad was still around to ask….and wish I’d taken an interest years ago!
I was recently thinking about buying a WASR-10 but half the people I ask say it’s trash and some say it’s the best entry level AK you can buy right now. So idk what to think. Gun snobs are way worse than guitar snobs! Anyways,
Thanks for all your videos and information!
I truly appreciate what you do sir !

It would be interesting to see how the accuracy compares between pushing the sling forward versus using a stock or the two hand no sling method.

    • @encinio1
      @encinio1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I can attest that the pistol brace is the most stable, the sling is second most stable, double hand is the third and of course single hand is the least stable. All that being said each has their own benefits and drawbacks. Given the way this platform was designed I do prefer the sling carry and fire method. Which from a tactical standpoint would make the P50 a primary, and another pistol a secondary or a back up to the P50. I have bought another sling for mine that allows me to cross between a two point and single point sling carry with ease. By doing it this way I am able to switch between open carry and concealed carry depending on operational conditions. For example if I am conducting Static area or CQB operations then single point allows for ease of transition between weapon systems. If I am conducting PSD operations in public and in plain clothes then two point is the better choice.
Keeping in mind carrying the P50 is based on the operational requirements and thus far it has only been apart of my ops a few times. I hope that I can use it more often but only time will tell.

This is one really cool pistol. When it first landed they were around a thousand dollars and I just wasn't biting at that price. I wanted a 5.7x28 because I could see it was a very interesting round, so I wound up getting a great deal on a Diamond Back DBX, and I found it to be one of my favorites. Although the rounds are still about twice as much as 5.56, I think I'm going to have to pick one up and try to find some ammo deals. I mean 50 rounds standard clip, WOW! Go get myself about 500 rounds and get really proficient with them and keep them on the ready for a truck weapon and home protection. I've probably watched this video before, but I found one of these for a reasonable $599, so I'm on the fence and falling over 😂😂

There are 5.7 loads that use 40gr bullets, and 5.7 loads that go 23-2500fps, but there are none that propel 40gr bullets anywhere close to 23-2500fps from a 9.6" barrel - and certainly not for 56 cents. The premium rounds that offer that performance (from rifle barrels) are much more expensive, and usually out of stock.
