I continue to be impressed with the growing capabilities of the cloud based tools. Just a few more organizational elements to bring in (like colour labels) as well as plugins for Photoshop and I can see making the switch. Thanks for continuing to champion the cause, Brian.
Retouch4me has well over £1000 worth of addons plugins for Adobe, each one will need to be updated at some time ?? The now have a cloud based option, fully functionable to be purchased. Works out @10p per image, complete touch up. From my Mac to the cloud and back job done. The cloud has to be the future. AI ? another dimension. Whatever, loving your work.
That trick of pulling up the black point to give a more vintage look can be even better in many photos by pulling down the white point to make an f-curve. There are two reasons I use Classic over desktop or web: 1) Classic implements the IPTC headers. 2) When I want to edit photos while out and about, it's usually really difficult in central London to get a reliable internet connection. I know, right? Should be a much better service in the middle of a major city.
Thanks for this Brian! Just a quick question... I just can't find the Undo/Redo buttons (and shorcuts don't wotk either) in lightroom web, and it's keeping me from using it. Any idea of where it is?? Thaanks!
When you are in the Detail view, you'll see an Eye icon towards the top right. Clicking on that will toggle the before/after. Is that what you're asking about?
Looks like 'expand in Photoshop' does not appear as an option in Safari, but works just fine in Chrome. Maybe that's one of the reasons Adobe recommends Chrome. And on iPad it won't work in either browser (I suppose since Chrome for IOS is built on Apple's Webkit).
@brianmatiash Hopefully it will come to Safari and iOS browsers. Fingers crossed. That would be a great addition to the iPad editing experience. Now if only they’d bring AI denoise to Lightroom Mobile (or even Web would be fine).
Ha! I’m from Brooklyn, so I feel like I should know this! But now that I think about it, I know exactly what you mean. That’s how my dad would say it, too!
Seems that the more we use cloud based tools the more likely we are setting ourselves up for being hacked by an internet criminal! What security measures do you use, and recommend? If you have a solid strategy, maybe a video or recommendation would be useful.

Thank you for watching! And trust me, we're getting closer and closer with each update!
Heading for the cloud.............outstanding video, thank you
My pleasure, Alan! I'm telling you - the future is in a browser tab.

Geez, that's cool!
Right?!
Another great informative video as usual in your content. Thanks for your easy-to-follow explanations!
Always a pleasure! Glad you found it useful.

Always good information.
Any idea why Adobe refuses to support Photoshop for the Web in Safari?
Is there a before/after button in web? Great video Brian. Just discovered it with the normal backslash \ key.

@@brianmatiash Yep, thanks Brian
Awesome! But still no way to rename the file?

That's correct. While Lightroom Web works in Safari, Photoshop Web currently supports the latest version of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

I always forget to rename the masks. sigh.
Such a love/hate relationship with Adobe. Love the product, hate the plans
Brian I love you man...but it's Pon te ack ...
Wait wait. It’s not pon-tee-ack?!
@@brianmatiash It absolutely is, it's just that the T is basically silent (pon-ee-ack). At least if you're an Italian from New Jersey like me 😆
