- This is my personal review of the Zoom Groom by Kong. After buying several different brushes for my shedding Pitbull Junior, this is the ONLY one that has worked effectively. This tool works amazing, I love it... Go get you one if your dog sheds, you will be glad you did... They make them for cats as well.... This is a must have! Sorry for repeating myself I filmed the clips on different days..

This is the only brush my Jack Russell will allow me to use on him. And it works!

I got a purple one in 2018 & all the teeth are nearly gone. It's great for cleaning from upholstery now. I got a dobe which has a similar coat, probably go for a black one now.
Furminator worked perfectly fine for me.
😆 this made me chuckle. Pit's shed a lot? I have to keep an empty 5 gal bucket next to my yellow lab when I brush her. The Ferminator is amazing for longer haired dogs like labs.

I've heard the furminator cuts hair so doesn't get the full strands of fur out. i think the furminator gets thru tangles easily by cutting them but in the end the dog just sheds shorter strands of fur not less fur.
when they shed too much it also means they need better quality food many times or add in their food skin / hair supplement ,found out my dog was also a bit allergic to corn too...
Most vicious part of pitbull is there tail wagging
a trick : watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.

Agreed! I've got bruises from my dog helicopter tail.. also whacked in the eye once. Painful shit.

your welcome... you will definitely get the hair off with it... I just used it on my boy yesterday on the back porch it was like a fur blanket!! Rub it in all different ways and then just wipe the hair right off... I still cant believe how much hair it removes...
Would you recommend me to use it on a short coat chihuahua ?

I've used it on my pitbull/american bully and a boxer it takes a lot more hair off when dry than when wet and you can easily blow off the hair that gets stuck on it and when its wet the hair gets stuck in the rubber spikes and you constantly have to rinse off the hair. Hope this helps!

Beautiful dogs! I have an American pit bull terrier too and the brush I currently use doesn't seem to pull her fur up, it just smears is around. Thanks for the review, I'm curious to try it out.

Help! Was junior always so hyper I mean my pup just doesn't keep still I mean jeeezzzz.... And what is it with the pawing she always taking and touching with her paws. If you pet her she just has to have her paw on you.... advice anything please lol she's driving me bonkers! Lol
yes both of my pitbulls were very hyper and they both turned out to be the best things I ever had!! I was scratched from head to toe with my oldest they are very pawsy type dogs.. pitbulls typical traits are very handsy. they are excellent communicators and they will always want to put their hands on you... it's just how they are... it's annoying as hell.. luckily junior bothers Halo more than me but I also have to keep ALOT of chew things around him.. when he becomes a pest, which is everyday I just give him a chew toy or a bone and if that doesn't work I give him a ball... Junior's nickname is busy body because he is always going.. they have to be right there and see everything you are doing all of the time... embrace it and you will learn to ignore it... you have to.. be patient, they will chill and turn out to be the best thing you ever had... One of the number one things I had to get was a cotton training lead.. the longest one they sell at walmart and I had to keep it on my puppies the entire time they were walking around the house.. it calmed them down and it helped me correct them the second I needed to correct them.. it saved my sanity...
lol man oh man as far as her housebreaking i think as long as im on top of if and dont get lazy shes amazing she rarely now has accidents in the house. Its just getting her to calm down and stay quiet.. she literally just has to keep moving wont lay down for more than like 5 min at a time. She does drive my oldest one bonkers lol i think she lives for that. i need to go on a toy binge for her she has a few already and goes crazy playing with them lol its the funniest thing in the world im going to catch it on cam tomorrow. I love her dont get me wrong i was just venting im sooo over the puppy stage i want a Junior already lol.
Chrissy C trust me, I know exactly how you feel.. Junior is still a bit immature, he just turned 1yr old this week... but he has really calmed down a lot. I buy all my Pitbull toys at Jefferspet.com.. they sell the Kong stuff half price than anywhere else!! Pitbull's destroy everything so if you want to save some money, you can get a grip of toys for half the money you would pay at any store. Cant wait to check out your video of your baby...
