Spectacular! Such beautiful flowers & scenery, with amazing closeups & footage! There was also a number of those beauties I have never seen or heard of before. So, that made this even more delightful! Thank you David for introducing us to these lovely 'new' flowers & blooms. As well as sharing the names of each bloom. So glad to hear that you are 'branching out' & 'blossoming' in all of your endeavors! That is wonderful to hear! I am certain you will be excellent in each new endeavor you undertake, as you always are in everything else you present & share! Thank you for sharing this delightful experience & your plans! Blessings to you!
Thanks so much Annie, I’m so glad you enjoyed seeing all the Spring blooms. I love finding and learning about new ones, although I’m still very much an amateur and I do worry about getting the names wrong! When you start looking it’s really quite amazing just how many plants are in bloom just now. I think the magnolias are my favourite - they’re incredibly beautiful. I’m very blessed to be busy. It’s taken a huge effort to recover from the pandemic and I really hope I can welcome people to the city for many years to come. It’s a huge privilege and I really enjoy it. Thanks so much for watching, you’re so lovely and I very much appreciate your kindness. Have a lovely week. All the best, David 😀
@@DavidWheaterScotland My pleasure David! Thank you for your kind appreciation too! I am so glad that you have such a wonderful opportunity to welcome folks to such an amazing City as Edinburgh. I love Edinburgh! It is hands down, my favorite City in the world. And now Glasgow. Another awesome City, which is oftentimes more underrated but is definitely a wonderful place. Your knowledge of blooms is excellent & certainly way beyond mine. I wanted to mention that there is an App that you can put on your Phone called Google Lens that when you use it, it will identify the tree, plant or flower etc you are looking at. it tells you the name of what it is. Very cool! I do not have the App myself, but I know someone who does & it's amazing. It is so interesting to know what you are looking at in Nature. You may be already aware of this App, but I thought I would mention it, just in case you might not be & were interested in it. Especially since this would be very handy when you film all these beautiful flowers & foliage etc. which you share with us. Have a lovely day David! Blessings to you! 🌲🌳🌞
Hi Annie, thanks so much for the heads up on the app - it sounds brilliant and I’ll definitely look into it. I really am a novice and I’m sure I’m getting plenty wrong, so the app would be great! Hope you have a lovely week and I hope to have another nature/spring plants video up this weekend which I hope you’ll enjoy too. All the best, David 😀
@@DavidWheaterScotland My pleasure David! So glad to hear that you will be able to utilize the App. Looking forward to your sharing your next Spring experience! Have a lovely day! Blessings!🥀🌳🙂
Hope you're all well and you really enjoy seeing all the gorgeous Spring flowers here in Edinburgh. Thanks so much for watching and if you'd like to book a tour with me please get in touch through my website - www.adventuresinscotland.uk 🙂
So joyous to see you this morning David. I just got back from visiting my grandchildren and the question of the day was…or maybe the answer of the day was…Unicorn. Who couldn’t love a country like that. I hope to get to visit one day and meet you in person. It makes my heart happy to see a new vid from you, always semi-meditative, and I save them for early morning with my coffee. Lovely. Enjoy the continuing adventure known as life!
awww… thanks so much. That’s so nice of you and much appreciated. I must admit that running the channel myself and fitting in caring for family and a small business can be challenging at times, but I do really enjoy it and it’s lovely people like yourself that make it all worthwhile. I do wish I could do more, I’m starting to feel a bit limited with what I can do by myself, but it does force me to be more creative with what I’ve got. I’m so glad you find them relaxing & meditative. I find filming very therapeutic and it helps take my mind off all the worries and stresses of life. Thanks again for all your kindness, it’s given me a real boost and I hope to start increasing my output as the better weather & lighter nights get going. Hope you can visit soon. Warmest best wishes & thanks, David 😀
Hi David, hope you're well, realy lovely film of all these beautiful flowers, and so uplifting, and just wanted to wish you all the best with you're new tours and I'm looking forward to watching more of you're lovely films, I love you're close ups of the flowers and how you notice clouds and different light. I'd say the Scottish Wildcat is Scotland's national animal and so glad efforts are being made to re establish they're territories in areas up north
Hi Anne, hope you’re well and thanks so much for watching. Really glad you like the close ups of the flowers. I love filming them and find it very therapeutic. I always try to identify them if I can, but my old brain always forgets the names after a couple of days or two😝 I wish I’d taken more of an interest in plants & flowers when I was younger, but better late than never. Totally agree with you on the Scottish Wildcat. It’s Scotland’s very own wild tiger and really worth celebrating. Hope you have a lovely week and thanks as always for all your support & kindness. All the best, David 😀
@@DavidWheaterScotlandThank you for your excellent content! My husband and I just found your videos yesterday and we're commenting on how lovely your videos are.
