We did our first escape room on Saturday, there were 4 in our group, and 4 people we hadn't met. We escaped, and actually had the 2nd highest score for that room, but we definitely would have benefited from having tips like this prior to the experience. I could probably go do the same room, and it would still be a challenge. Yes, designating someone to be the "communicator" would be a good idea, and once you think you completed a puzzle, have some way to mark it done, so other players don't come along and continue to work on it. It was fun, I'll go back.
I'm going to do an escape room and we are not going to escape because my parents speak another language and I would have to translate and that would take a lot of time and patience. Also my dad likes to stuff everything he finds in his pocket
AverageCountryGirl Nikki lmao same except I ended up opening a door that went to an elevator that led to another 4 rooms and 3 were locked I had to open 4 locks for one box for one key but we ended up losing :(
Ok so I am super excited to be doing the escape room next week my fiance won't let me watch the tip video lol but I have always been a advid gamer and hopefully games like resident evil and silent hills will help with this real life experience so stoked see you guys next weekend
LMAO. I just did my first escape room last Sunday.... and was thinking the SAME THING!! That my experience in RE games might help. I guess it helped some... or maybe just the fact I've always liked figuring things out helped. We didn't make it.. but were literally within a couple minutes. Was fun.. I look forward to doing more. Another tip I would give is this NOT everything is a clue! XD
