I just did this job today. Good video, but if needed you can also not take off the engine mount. I didn't have a 17mm deep socket deep enough to get the nut off the tall mount stud, so I just removed the pulley from the tensioner and then you can get to the aft lower bolt. I took the pulley off the new tensioner as well, mounted it, then installed the pulley. Totally avoided having to remove the mount and support the engine. Just FYI for anyone that also doesn't have a 17mm as rediculously long as is required. :)

If needing to replace the water pump I would use the same procedure plus drain the radiator, remove the tire and the 6 water pump bolts. Sound about right Sue?

I wish I watched this video yesterday, then I would be done replacing the tensioner. I can't stress this enough, that engine mount makes it impossible to get to the back bolt for the automatic tensioner.

Is it ok JUST to change the idler pulley instead of the entire tensioner? I feel the noise is only coming from the idler pulley and not the entire tensioner.

Sure you can, is there is no problem with only changing out the pulley.
