For those who have the Aerogenics engine & subframe lowering kit, you need to remove the passenger side spacer and raise the engine back up. Impossible to install the belt without doing so! Like putting a round peg on a square hole.
@@HotRod-wv4vm I'm not experienced with HRG, but I would think it will be the same since they are both altering the height of the engine, thus altering the geometry of the belt.
Thanks so much for this tutorial video, very helpful. Before putting the belt back on, does the pully or tensioner need to be in a certain position? Also, can you put the belt back on without the Special Tool you got from Autozone? Thanks in advance.
This looks souch easier than the other video i saw ehere they removed the power steering pump hoses before the took off the pump, looks like yhere os no need to do that.
Hi, the old tensioner had a 14mm bolt on the pulley, which I used a wrench to free the belt. The new tensioner came with a 15mm, I used the especial tensioner tool to install the Belt back.
I followed your video and worked out great! How ever after installing my gates belt/ tensioner i hear some kind of whistle noise when accelerating not sure if thats normal or not kinda hoping you can help me out!

Hey the last bolt 12mm on the center is that bolt to adjust the tension strength

What is torq spec for solenoid spool valve gasket?😊
When do you need to replace the belt tensioner?
Few time I replaced in elements when the bearing in the pulley is noisy or the tensioner vibrates causing a noise too
Who is the vendor on Amazon? I went there and there are several companies 😮
This is the best option in my opinion:

Could be normal as long as all is tuning ok now
I read on the Honda tech site that several people had issues with the gates belts
