    These are much cooler than Funko Pops. I really want that Shuichi on Amiami, but it is 'pre-order' closed. What should I do?

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  6 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      You can wait until it's released to see if it's back in stock or check the pre-owned section. Or you can visit other figure sites like Hobby Search or Tokyo Otaku Mode to see if they still have it for pre-order. Just keep your eye on it so you can grab it once it's available!

    I been collecting actions figures for 20+ years and I just got my first two Nendoroids only because the company is making He-Man and Skeletor. I would advice for anyone having issues with stickiness to use a plasticizer. Dish soap and water will only carry you so far before needing to do that again. Hope this helps

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The soap shouldn't damage the paint since it's dawn soap and I only add a small amount. Plus I only clean my older figures once every few years so there isn't that much exposure. I think the stickiness only applies to really old nendoroids like maybe under #300 so the ones from 2018+ should be fine.

    Thank you for this video, my collection is reaching close to 100 nendoriods. What would you do in my situation with boxes, and nendoroid storage (extra pieces)?

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Congrats on almost 100 nendoroids! I keep my all my boxes and my mom is kind enough to let me store them in her back storage shed in some moving boxes. The extra ones I have above my bookcases. If you have an extra closet or space that's not in use you can store them there. I know some people remove the plastic and throw it out then flatten the boxes. If you don't plan to resell that might work for you. As for the extra pieces I still like my craft drawer method. I have a little over 100 nendoroids and since I'm always taking photos of my figures it's been the easiest way to access all the pieces. If you don't plan to repose your nendos often you can do the plastic bead box like the one I have in my video. Then you can store them in a larger container in a bookcase, drawer, or under your bed. I think with having 100 nendos and keeping all their pieces in the original box will get annoying after some time. Let me know what you think and if I come up with anything else I'll add it!

    Awesome video! Would it be bad to have them stored in their respective boxes for a long period of time? I'm thinking of displaying mine once I move and get nicer shelves for them, though I'm not sure if I should continue keeping them in their boxes, or let them breathe.

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I still have nendoroids that I've had for a year or more still living in their boxes and they're fine when I open them so I'm sure they'll be fine, I just like taking the precaution of airing them out because I want to keep them in the best shape for as long as possible (: thank you for watching!

    Is it a bad idea to put your nendoroids in like, shadow or glass display boxes?
    I’m worried my nendoroid will get sticky faster than if I left it out, but this kind of box is way easier and faster to clean...

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think a glass display is great! It will help keep them clean but it's always good to maintain them. I think it's actually better to have them out of the box from what I've experienced having older nendoroids kept in the box they're the most sickest.

    Hi there! I know I’m commenting like a year late but I hope you see this :). Is there a reason why you don’t use something like a keyboard cleaner (that thing that sprays cool air out of a skinny tube thing). That’s what I’ve been using to make sure dust doesn’t buildup in the seems. Do you know if this could potentially damage the paint? Thank you in advance and thank you for posting this video!!

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi sorry for responding so late 😅 I’ve actually switched to using a compressed air can like you mentioned. I buy a pack from Costco and try to use them only on nendoroids with really elaborate clothes and spiky hair 😂 I think the brush option is a really good alternative for those who don’t want to buy the air cleaner for the price or environmental reasons.

    Do you have the link for the drawers and the little clear box to put nendoroid face plates and other pieces? It looks so neat and simple!!

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've added the link to the description! I got the clear box from Micheal's a few years back so I don't know if it's still in stock but I've added a link to one I found on amazon. It has removable dividers which I think sets it apart from other containers since you can have more space for nendoroid pieces if needed (:

    Just discovered your channel and I LOVE IT 😍 I want to ask about Nendos purchasing. Does the brand have to be "Good Smile Company" or any nendo is fine?! I saw multiple Haikyuu nendos I wanted to get but then I saw that they don't have GSC label! 😥 So I was kinda worried and Skipped on buying Nendos 🤣 I only have one tho and it's a GSC one 😅

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy my channel. And GSC is the only company that makes nendoroids so if you see any that have no GSC label or no sticker of authenticity then it's probably a fake one.

    • @pcktmnstr
      @pcktmnstr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      lunadrops this might be late,but there is 2nd party company that makes them as well like there is orange rouge that makes most male nendoroids. All the haikyuu nendos are made by them and are license by good smile.(yuri on ice,dm,and others as well)there logo is on the front instead of good smile company

      coffee Kuma thank you both for letting me know 😍

    • @lunadrops
      @lunadrops  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thats true! I was using Good Smile Company as an umbrella term. Other companies have made nendoroids as well such as Max Factory and Phat Company. Just always make sure you're buying from a reliable site and that there's the sticker of authenticity!
