My son has an offer for a place at Oxford this year. This obviously depends on his exam results. It’s been a very long summer waiting for results day. Perhaps you could do a video on what it feels like waiting for results. I just want to fast forward to the 9th of August (Scottish results day)

Thankfully , the wait for exam results is over for my son. I am pleased to say that he achieved 3 Advanced Highers at A and one additional Higher at A grade. Just waiting for confirmation from Merton College about his place. His name is Cameron Armstrong and he is going to read Law.

Another great video ! As someone who lives in the United States and wants to go to Oxford someday, I can definitely relate to the TikToks you said that have American voices that see Oxford as this sort of real life Hogwarts. I hope the people making TikToks about how horrible their experience at Oxford is realize someday how lucky they are and how thousands of people would give anything to take their place. I think your channel does a very good job of showing the good parts of life as an Oxford student, but at the same time keeping a realistic perspective that everything isn't always prefect.
Glad you think I get the balance right. It's always hard to know what do to if you know you are lucky to be in a position but aren't enjoying it (like some of the tiktokers), I guess I talked about this in my lonely video too!
