I too am a Friend to Friend addict . I think my next will be striped with the baby poop, charcoal and beige/cream color. Kim's colors for inspo. I will have to practice some embroidery on one of my plain ones, so cute!!
I enjoy listening to your podcast and all the wonderful projects you make. I'm currently knitting the Flores Sweater by Eri Shimizu in WoolDreamers Saona. I love this yarn and the fabric it creates!
The cool thing about Wool Dreamers is that they have a family herd of sheep whose milk is used to make manchego cheese- but the wool was always just cast aside. So, the younger generation of the family decided to use that wool and create a whole new business. Their Manchelopi is the unspun, which is amazing, and then they have a Dk/Worsted called Mota that is rustic, but very soft. Highly recommend!
I always enjoy watching and being inspired by you.Ive been knitting and crocheting for 45 years but each time I watch all of you bring something of great excellence to the fiber table!!!!
Omg I loved this podcast soooo much! Your fleur is GORGEOUS!!! As are all the other knits you’ve all made! And thank you so much for the super kind words about our pod! Jackie and I would love to see you at Rhinebeck! And I am so joining your pocket posse! Liked and subscribed for sure! ❤️❤️❤️
Greetings from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas (Deep South Texas); I just purchased the Knitted Pocket Pattern & I hope to have at least one done. This summerI have been busy knitting other projects such as the Lento, Goldwing, Kari, & currently Joji's SSSS (on the sleeves now). Plus, I have many other Wip's on the needles Lol. I look forward to meeting you on the Hill. Getting super excited for Rhinebeck 2023. Hugs, idaknits27 #weknitintexasyall
I wear my Pembroke scarf all the time. Great size to throw in my bag, and pull out when the Costco fridge is too much. I'm now making more as Christmas gifts!
always inspiring Ladies!! Love the projects and new yarns I'll need to check out and add to my Christmas wish list, thanks for sharing and your time in making fun podcasts!
Kate you were so cute popping up with your pocket!! Always good to hang out with you all, wish I was going to Rhinebeck but it's not in the cards this year! All the best to all of you! xo Marie
Kate I’m thinking maybe I would buy Fluff for the stripes in a sweater I love your striped version with the navy and white. I’ve been wondering what I can do with fluff
I might have to crank out some friend to friend’s for my DIL’s and daughter. Great Christmas gift idea thanks. Also just wondering why no one is falling down the crochet rabbit hole?? I’m in deep!! Great episode as usual. xo
Great to see you guys on recent podcast. ❤ Kim, so glad you showed the Stay Soft Shawl. I’m so close on mine to getting to the lace edging. Your colors are beautiful. I had some singles in my stash I am using and is turning out so nice.
This is a question for LAURA: I’ll be in Edinburgh late next week, and am wondering if there’s a yarn store you’d recommend, preferably one with stuff not available in North America 😊. Thanks for another fun episode!
There are 3 yarn stores in Edinburgh! Be Inspired is fairly small and crammed with stuff. Lots of commercial yarns but also local and locally hand-dyed yarns. Mei the owner is wonderful. Ginger Twist is even smaller. Jess, the owner, dyes her own yarns and they are stunning. She also has a small amount of commercial/local yarns. Finally there is Kathy's Knits. This is the largest store and I think probably has the most Scottish (and surrounding area) yarns. I hope you have a fantastic time--it is such a beautiful city! (Laura)
Thanks so much for detailed response Laura! I so appreciate all the info and look forward to checking out these shops. Happy knitting and have a great fall. 😊
Hope our paths cross at Rhinebeck. Love your swag. I was lucky enough to get some granola from you last time. As always, thanks for the knitting inspiration.
Love watching you three! I always keep a notebook near me when viewing so I can write down pattern and podcast names. My colors are greens and blues and I’ve tried so hard to broaden my palette but I invariably revert to my faves. Such a good idea to treat the #possepocket as a way to use colors I like but can’t necessarily wear. Thanks for sharing!
I don't know. I have never done that before. While knitting the Melange, the yarns need to be lightly twisted around each other. Not sure if winding them together would accomplish that. Probably worth a try though! Let me know if you do it 😀 (Laura)
Loved this Podcast and having taken loads of notes. Greetings from Ireland
Thank you for watching!! 💕

Heading to Joann’s to get some Hue and Me.
Love the all the ones you have made

Hope to catch up again with you soon Marie! 💕
Chiagoo has 3mm tips you can order both the metal and bamboo! 😉I got mine from Amazon.
Thanks for the “tip” 🤣🤣

I think I'm going to use it for a Moonbumps shawl. It is a sport weight...I think Le Garcon has kits for a Joji sweater 😍

The friend to friend is a perfect Christmas gift!! (and to answer your second question…mostly because none of know how to crochet! 🤣🤣😳)
Thanks for another inspiring episode. ❤

Joanns has Hue&Me for 3.99 this weekend
Working on my first one
My Suri sweater is knitted with Saona. 😊Love it and it softens nicely with blocking.
As always, so much inspiration! I took down so many pattern names:) I’ve only made two friend to friends but may have another one on the needles soon.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! 💕
I believe KnitPicks and Knitters Pride both have US2.5 needles which are 3.00mm.
Thank you!

Pocket-along with us!! 😊
Question about the yarn pooling issue for the melange sweater…would it help to wind the two yarns together on a ball winder?
I don't know. I have never done that before. While knitting the Melange, the yarns need to be lightly twisted around each other. Not sure if winding them together would accomplish that. Probably worth a try though! Let me know if you do it 😀 (Laura)
Will you pick pockets at Rhinebeck?
🤣🤣
Hi. The pocket name is “ Knitted pocket” if your having trouble finding it on Ravelry. The link wasn’t working for me
Here is the link: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/knitted-pocket-2
Just use some iron on tape like Steam -a Seam and kind of tack the pocket on. Then you can remove it later. Voila!!
Oooh I like that as I am NOT a fan of sewing (Laura)
The link to the baby blanket didn’t work.
Try this...

Laura what is the name of the cowl you made for your son in NY?
It was Escher's Dream Cowl by SweaterFreak. He and my husband are both big Escher fans so it was a no-brainer!!
Hi Knitting Posse! Do you have an email for brand partnerships? I'd love to get in touch about partnering on some crafty content - thanks!
Can't handle the consistent interrupting of each other.. ugh...my BIG pet peeve.
