I agree with about 85-90 percent of what Rich teaches. When it comes to human interactions and things of that nature, spot on. When it comes to money, I feel like the massive success he experienced puts him at a disadvantage. He will say a statistic about marriage which is accurate, but doesn't bring up that the average age of a new millionaire in the United States is 62 years old. I think money is the only thing that this contributor has going for him and that is in itself pathetic.
Rich, thank you for being you. You give a wealth of knowledge about human interaction that both sexes can benefit from. When it comes to personal finance, I don't think it is fair to downplay someone working in tech making 250k a year. Those are common mid career numbers for that field in the United States, and it usually takes, statistically, about two decades to reach those numbers. People also get it together at different times.
I'm with you about no excuses, as I'm not making any. My money is up to me, and I'm on my way to being a millionaire. I also believe in tough love, which you give in abundance. But I didn't start making six figures until last year. I've read your book twice, and am going to do a third read through this fall. Despite having different values than you (I don't want the kind of cars you drive) I can see where you are coming from.
    Respect.

    • @BrashTV
      @BrashTV 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

@@demodiums7216 I think that that's a good idea to strive for those statutes, however, your self worth shouldn't come from your income - but your own mental point of origin. Money is just the icing on the cake.
Dave Ramsey, who has a net worth of 200 million, has said "you can do everything right and still wind up broke." Rich is a great teacher about certain things, but he is sadly guiding people to look to external indicators in life for happiness. He's spot on about female nature of course, but if you need money to be happy, that's relinquishing control of your happiness to an external source. Which is beta. Relying on someone else's involvement for your happiness is beta.

Basically, RC is being like a black piller, telling a guy on 250-300k a year he's not even sorted financially and needs to catch up.
How is that any different to someone like WheatWaffles telling someone if they're not an 8 (arguably the same aesthetic level as a 250k financial level), its over?
Honestly, I like a lot of manosphere content but some of the advice is just shockingly bad and shows a lack of real world experience.
Guy shouldn't worry about the money, hit the gym as a massive priority first and foremost, waaaaay above worrying about the beta bux side.

    • @Hechangethnot
      @Hechangethnot 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Based take. I do agree with you totally. Many men won't in their entire lifetime won't even come close to 250k net worth not even income wise and that's ok. This is because every man has a choice to make in how they present themselves to the world in their lifetime from a wholistic approach(spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and socially). This life is a journey and not a competition and am not talking from a defeatist mindset but that is the reality for most men today.
I personally support and am grinding towards the idea chase Excellence but life won't give us all the same level of success. We simply have to pick and choose what works and discard won't doesn't as much as the idea of happiness being subjective to all of us.

Agree 100% Also, high value people don’t seek validation from anyone, let alone individuals on the internet. This applies to the husband in this video, and anyone watching content by Rich. I think Rich’s point is not so much about the subject’s income, but his net worth, and took issue with his claim of being a high value male. I think Rich’s point about having a $1M Net worth by age 40 is about being in the top 1%. Nothing less. If you don’t care about being in the 1% (like myself) then there is no need to feel inadequate for only making low 6 figures at age 41 (like myself).

Yeah, but "just let her go" means he's going to have to buy her out of the $400K house which means sell it, or take out a $200K mortgage on top of his $250K mortgage. (so he'll be upside down) Not sure how it works in Texas but they determine the value of the property not the equity in it in most places. At the very least he'll still end up owing $50K on the mortgage after he sells and uses his $200K to pay off the mortgage.
50% of his $450K in net worth is gone.
He most likely will be paying her alimony. He's bringing in $20K per month she's bringing in $3500, He'll probably get hit with $6500K a month alimony.

Typically she's spending it, and then complaining that he's not earning enough. When a marriage counselor has to help a couple negotiate, I would say forget it. This guy needs to look into a PI to not only track her but track her spending. With his income it doesn't make sense he's worried about her $40k a year. He's bleeding cash some place and it is probably her. Which may give him grounds for divorce. Yes, Texas still has at fault divorce and that's where his PI and attorney could come up with a plan.
Aside from her, his biggest problem is his mindset. He's questioning if he needs to move someplace better when he's in one of the best places to pick up broads I've ever been. That whole thing where you move to a new town and start anew is some of that magical thinking that chicks believe in. He needs to join at least 3 different gyms. One main gym for serious workouts, the other two for scouting.

I love how it's always the guys fault when his woman becomes disloyal. Not enough attention, too much attention, not enough money, not enough social proof. We need to be honest and realize that some women are just raised that way and choose this lifestyle. They get easily bored and require too much energy from a guy to keep them "excited". A woman needs to complement a man, not drain his energy. I've seen countless relationships that were effortless where both partners were in their natural state and lasted for decades together without any cheating. Both sides need to tolerate each other's life issues or otherwise it is not sustainable. If you think you need to be a millionaire alpha with an aggressive mindset to maintain one chick, it is extremely exhausting and stressful. Living life full of suffering just to get inside her for "good behavior" is simply not worth it and does not bring any dividends. A woman should be a cherry on top of your cake. Your life is your cake. Let them come and leave as they please. If one stays with you through hardest of tests and is stuck to you like crazy glue, then you know that she may be truly yours.

Then 6 months or a year from now, you may find your wife sees you and your marriage differently (ie, you'll know, you'll be getting laid more often!). If not, you can leave at that point, and at least you'll know you gave the marriage your best shot. In the meantime, also prep for a divorce, in case it goes that direction.
Personally, after the 6-12 months, I'd read her the riot act. Let her know in no uncertain terms what is expected in the marriage. Meet the requirements, or go separate ways (this goes both directions, btw). It's that simple (yeah, it's hard, but simple!).

Ideally in a perfect relationship you would only want things that build and support your partner but we've gotten so used to animosity in relationships that we don't recognize it as disloyalty.. I don't think it's possible to be deceitful to somebody and be truly loyal to them. Being deceitful demonstrates contempt and there will be plenty of situations where the loyalty will break down.

SMH 🤦‍♂️ bro I started making six figures late I don’t have a lot of saving business is growing but that’s never stopped me from finding hot women. On a personal level yes I feel I should have hit my first million by 30 I’m 40 now but I still get tons of women checking me out and willing to be with me. Saying u need 5 million to be high value lol 😅that’s less that 1-3 percent of the population u basically called 90 percent of your listeners losers because they will never attain that 😂 some of your beliefs bro are way out there. Lol

$1M net worth by 30? $5M by 40? Right, good luck with that. This is not realistic. Possible, yes. Probable, no way in hell. A wise man once said a man's got to know his limitations. If you are a normal guy and have your life together for your age, whatever that is, there are average to cute normal women out there. Quit shooting for 8s and 10s, and models, you will be alone or miserable with them. They don't want you. Anything beautiful requires constant maintenance. They are not for you, that's a different league. Get a hobby, join some clubs, take classes at the community college or community center, get out there and find someone normal who has a common interest and is not addicted to social media. Meet her family and friends, these will tell you an enormous amount about her. She needs to bring peace and happiness to your life. A gorgeous face and body is not everything. That face will wrinkle and the body will sag. But what's inside will always be there. For good or bad.

lmao. telling a 42 yr old to all of sudden be funny & charismatic is laughable. the older you get the harder it is to change. It’s 99% over for this guy. only hope is to stop attaching his confidence & happiness to being “high value / getting women”.. & just live life & mayb start being thankful for the things you do have. A great job, good head on your shoulders, hopefully good kids/family etc.
The women u want usually come when you stop caring that much. or maybe they dont. Who cares.

As long as we are alive we can always change. In fact change is a constant phenomenon. People who were in their 40s are completely different in their 50s. This is also amplified by the fact that our society is changing. 40 years olds 15 years ago who were oblivious to tech and barely could use flip phones are all using smartphones and spamming tiktok videos today in their 50s. We need to get rid of this mentality that we are in a "fixed" state. Brain plasticity does not lose its efficiency until we are dead. In addition most self made millionaires happen in 40s and 50s. And we also need to stop being ashamed of pursuing females. It is by design in our genes and is 100% normal. Stop being ashamed of being a guy. I'm seeing too much of this "redpill" BS today where guys abstain from any contact with females due to insecurities and internal grudges they hold onto the world. Life is too short for that shit. Go out there and start having fun. Those who stay stay. Those who go let them go.

@@freedomgunsandliberty great! But you are an exception big man. an outlier. MOST will not pull off what you did. ppl not understanding basic statistics baffles me.
“I am a millionaire that made it from nothing” does not change the fact that most ppl with will not be millionaires. most guys will not be Chad. Most guys will get average women and live an average life.
People need to improve that they can but also remain objective. The odds are immensely stacked against our guy in this video example.
If he makes it there will be 100s other 5ft 3 dudes with 0 confidence that didn’t make it. We just never hear about it because most of us would rather tuck our tail and hide than be seen sharing how we failed for TH-cam to witness

Guys don't listen too much into this it's not the end all..I know plenty of short guys with not much money that kill it with women..So don't go buy a gun and load it with just one bullet yet..So what if youre not tall, rich, somewhat good looking doesn't mean your out of the game. You're only out of the game if you want to be..I just don't agree that if u don't meet these so called requirements we should take u behind the barn and end it, sends a wrong message..There's 6 billion people in the world and all the guys in it who don't have these type of characteristics dont get women..That's BS..Anyways if your down on your luck it will change with positivity and confidence just keep pressing forward .

There’s a lot that doesn’t compute here. Maybe guy or his wife has spending problem. In DFW, if you have household income of $290k, you can EASILY save half of it per year. Especially with a low mortgage. Wanna bet the wife drives an S-class?

Sad story. Biggest challenge for this guy will be realizing what he thinks of as 'his' salary, 'his' net worth, and 'his' house aren't really 'his' at all. Also, being 42, short, fat, and middle class in DFW, he won't have 25 year old hotties lining up at his door.
You must confront your fear, grasshopper.

My 42 year old friend... Ok, in that whole pile of bullshit that Rich told you, he was right about one thing: YOU have to act and yearn for self improvement!
Take advice from your loved ones. Work with your therapist. Cut some time from work and spend time with your children, if you don't wanna be with your wife. Read philosophy (Epicurus, Socrates, Diogenes, Comfucius, and onwards, e.g. Rolf Dobelli ). Work out, but not in a fucking gym, OUTDOORS, buy a kayak or a surfboard or go hiking, take training sessions for all that. Joining a sports club (e.g. a swimming class) will help you get friends too. Offer to your kids, advise them, share the mistakes you did so they don't face such situations in their lives.
If you choose to split with your wife, know that at least some of your assets will be offered to your kids, so take solace in that.
Grow some self-esteem! Don't waste time getting paid- advice from men who εξ ιδίων κρίνουν τα αλλότρια, meaning: who judge other people's issues based on their own

Jeez the message screams out to this guy; Dump the dead weight (wife and overweight both) pay the cost to get that done, then get yourself together!! Making 300K you should be saving (investing) over 150K a year. Get to the gym and start eating right! Spend the time it takes to do this, but first off you have to adjust your defeatist, dependent, beta attitude!
