I think the ice blue looks better than the mint in the powermatic. I feel like the waffle design actually hurts the Tiffany blue aesthetic while it elevates the ice blue color
I love this version, and this may be the one that makes me buy a PRX! It would be very different from the rest of my collection and subsequently justify its own wrist time.
@@robbiecleighmarks3088 you can't say that for certain. They already have a 35mm prx but it's only in twotone, likely because it's a "women's" watch. It really sucks because a 40mm watch with an integrated bracelet normally wears a lot larger
@@Jayy_.- of course they have removable links (though they don't really seem to have half links or other micro adjistments). But the case size and lug size determines how it wears on you wrist. That's what watch size means.
I already have the blue and green powermatic prx and fully agree that it is gameover for everyone else. The value proposition is insane! Only problem is I now have to get the ice blue aswell 🤦🏻♂️🤣 great vid😊👍
I love it, I'm going to buy it. Although not a deal breaker, they should have not included a date complication. I prefer this colour over Tiffany blue.
I like this colour more than the mint green. I'll have to take a look in store for sure. Tonight I'm wearing my Sarb017 Alpinist on a green canvas strap with lumed stitching which is rubbish tbh unless you charge it up with a UV torch 🔦
Light blue has always been my favorite color and I had always wanted watches in a light blue (not Tiffany blue). This is just a tad light as I prefer a more baby blue, but I do want this. I have the blue and will likely get this ice blue as well, which more closely matches my wife's PRX 35 Quartz in Ice Blue. I'm also wearing a Tudor. But it's a Black Shield in all ceramic.
I'm currently wearing a Tissot vintage PR 100. Your videos have rekindled my love for Tissot. I will go onto your website and purchase the watch immediately..
I have the ice blue one wrist as we speak. Having lusted after a PRX for some time , this tipped the decision. It is indeed a stunner . Soo much watch for so little money !
Mine is on the way. Saw it last week, and had to have it. Got an email direct from Tissot , yesterday, that it"s in stock, and ordered it immediately. Should be here early next week. Today I'm wearing a Tiffany blue Islander from Long Island Watch.
Just got the Ice Blue from you guys last week. Love it and the PRX colour I’d been waiting for. Punches well above its weight. Wearing another blue watch today, the Milgauss.
I wish Tissot would have customizable options, similar to Nike, let's say. Then I could go crazy with two 35mm automatic versions: Tiffany blue dial on a bronze PVD case/bracelet and a Deep-Black-Glossy Dial with gold arrows. Gosh. Great video!
I like wearing larger watches though my wrist is 6.75 inches. Regardless, I tried on the PRX and the case shape with the angled lugs just didn’t fit comfortably.
If we're doing the wrist check then today I've got the Eterna 8423.41 black dial 37mm, such an under rated little dress watch at 9mm high with the hands bending around the curved dial and crystal
buying myself a Tissot PRX (power)automatic"Tiffany" dial as a gift, next month... it's been a tough year. Thanks to God, i've made it to this point... oh, and that gradient, white/blue/purple dial too currently wearing the Tissot Le Locle Powermatic80 (white dial)
Wow . Beautiful dial. You forced me to buy the pm blue. Now it looks like I am going to have this one , and still waiting for the Tiffany blue one . Many thanks dear friend, for your valuable information. Nizar
I ordered this PRX yesterday and I got 10% discount from my AD 😎 The perfect watch for me. Today I have a Tissot PRS 516 powermatic 80 but on a black nato strap instead of Tissot rubber strap. Wonderful combination
Love your videos. Funny you did this review. Just bought the Blue dial yesterday. Live in NYC & was going to a show & dropped into Tissot store I saw the colors you showed but the blue dial really jumps out compared to the lighter colors with the steel brand. Paid $675 US dollars Fits great. Have same wrist size as you. Have a Tudor black Bay GMT steel & Gold 41 mm. Like it but heavy and big on wrist.
The mint green is NOT Tiffany blue. I have a "true" Tiffany blue watch and the mint PRX, which I also have, is very different. The ice blue is a stunner and I feel very tempted to go for this one too.
Wearing the Zelos original Blacktip Sand waiting on the new Crimson GMT to arrive. I like that color.. been looking at Tissot PowerMatic-80 PRX. Really love the strap.
I have to say I love the retro 70's PRX design, I have the blue dial PM80 and the panda chronograph. This new dial looks spectacular even though it steps away a little bit from the 70's but it just works so well. I do think this dial colour will be a huge interest to younger watch buyers and that is a good thing as they may well catch the watch bug. On the wrist earlier today was my G-Shock GDB 200-1ER, arguably my most readable display that I have on a watch.
I've been looking at the chrono but I'm not sure if it would overshadow my love of the PM80 white dial/rose to the point I would no longer wear it. Does your PM80 still see the light of day?
I actually caught the watch bug after I got my Blue Dial PRX, and in my eyes it's the most beautiful blue dial after the Vacheron Constantin Overseas blue dial
My PM80 still gets regular wrist time, I love the PRX 3 hander. If I want something different on the wrist or are likely to want to time something I'll wear the chrono. I think both can happily co-exist in a collection.
@@iliaskourgialas Not at all on my whisker under 7" wrist in my humble opinion. I think the PM80 version would suit more dressy functions though. The chrono is larger and thicker as you would expect with the extra complications but does hide the thickness well due to the case design. The chrono definitely wears larger than the PM80 though. I'd suggest trying one at the AD if you can.
Wrist Check: I've got an SPB147 on an Sailcloth Strap! This is an absolutely beautiful colored dial. *sigh* It's crazy because I'm saving up for a Grand Seiko but these PRX models (Which I hated in the beginning) have been creeping on me and tugging on my heart strings. They just keep growing on me
I’m wearing the dark blue PRX that I received for Father’s Day right now but this Ice Blue dial has me trying to conceive of an excuse to add it to the collection. Redundant? Yes. But look at it! That’s so killer.
Hello Hunter, Thanks for all what you do, I truly like your broadcast. Have a question for you, I love a watch brand/ Panerai, and been for 3 years into buying watches/ collection- that I love… been buying only this particular brand, is there any wrong on only buying 1 brand? I already have 6 watches from this brand and love it/ any wrong? I already, had the Cartier Santos, Reverso, Speedmaster, Batman, sold them all, I feel they don’t talk back to me like the brand I love.
True. I want mint green, ice green, or whatever light green they call it. The standard (dark?) green is just not a great match for PRX's capability to catch the light.
What if they released a limited production high end PRX with perfect finishing at around $5000? They won't do this but it would be an interesting attempt from a lower tier brand.
Great review. The new Tissot PRX Powermatic Ice blue seems beautiful. I want to try it! I've tried the Tiffany blue quartz version, but the dial has some stripes, I was not sure I like it.
