    I've had my 35mm PRX in ice blue for few months now and I really like wearing this smaller size. I thought about getting one in 40mm but wanted something a little different. I have Rolex Explorer I in 39mm and a Datejust in 36mm, both great everyday watches but I really enjoy wearing the Tissot.

    I’ve owned scores of watches of all sizes - low end to higher end - and I have to say the 35mm PRX quartz is a great watch for everyday wear - the proportions are perfect - more so than any other watch I have tried

    I recently acquired the 35mm power magic in ice blue. It is my favorite watch out of the 100 or so that I have owned. I’ve had a speedmaster, Ball, high end Seiko. This watch is classy in any application, the light play is absolutely fantastic, and it’s not cumbersome in any way. I have a 7 inch wrist. It’s definitely not too small in any regard.

    If you like this style of watch the 35mm is perfect for your wrist. People are starting to come around to watches that actually fit. In no way is it small on you.

    The PRX's biggest problem (aside from the outrageously flat dial on the quartz version) is how quickly this bracelet scratches. Reviewers who put the PRX in the box after three days don't experience this, but people who buy it as a daily are often really dissatisfied. And please don't say that "scratches add character to the watch!", because this is not true, not for every watch. PRX is a very jewel-like watch regardless of its sporty genesis, and scratched looks so simply ugly. And maybe in the world of highend watches 800 euros is still not much so for a huge number of people it is really a considerable amount for which you can buy three interesting branded watches.

      Honestly love the bracelet and it fits me amazingly with 4 regular links taken off on my 7” wrist. But unfortunately it scratches up too easily and i ended up getting the official rubber strap, watch still looks amazing but i honestly prefer the fit of the bracelet.

      Noted! It was frustrating that Swatch limited my time so much with the watch, as much as I appreciate the loan; like you say, if I can't spend long enough with it, issues like that may be missed!

      I've worn a 40mm quartz mint as a daily and l love it. Yes the bracelet scratches, but it's not really any different to any other bracelet on a watch, excluding titanium or a military grade steel. Even a lot of watches over £1,000 have the exact same issue. Metal scratches and a bracelet of a daily wear will take a beating. You should expect that when buying such watches. Keep such watches for special occasions only if you have an ocd about it.

    The 40mm quartz is absolutely perfect fit on my wrist and looks fantastic. I think the 40mm Auto might be an issue for many as it's thicker because of the movement.

  • @HaonProductions
    @HaonProductions 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I was skeptical of the PRX, but ended up going for one after getting a good deal on my preferred colour and size (dark green auto, 35mm). It works really well as a dressy everyday watch considering the size which is small but still has good presence thanks to the bracelet. The textured dial and extra details like the date window frame really raise it to another level compared to the quartz - if I couldn't get the auto, I'd probably get one of the all gold ones and embrace my inner Tony Soprano. A bit disappointing the quartz MoP doesn't pop that well, even if it was never really on my radar.

    They really need to add a 37.5mm version to the lineup. 40mm is just too big for most and the 35mm too small

    I have the 40mm version with a 6 1/2 inch wrist and I just can’t wear it. The lug to lug is ridiculous. It looks like a dinner plate. I’d like to try a 35 eventually but that one seems a bit small.

  • @Theo-ul8qm

    I think the 35 looks right for you. I've got a friend who has the 40mm, and it looks and wears huge.
    Like you said, I think the quartz versions are underwhelming. The dials and dial furniture on those watches belong on sub-£100 watches. They're very bland. The automatic is quite a bit nicer, and the only one that makes sense to buy in my opinion.
    For me, the biggest problem of the PRX is that it looks like a fashion victim. And it can make its wearers look like that as well. Tissot jumped on the integrated bracelet trend at the height of skyrocketing values of the Nautilus and Royal Oak, and of the Tiffany dial trend when Patek and Rolex used that color on their watches and the prices bubbled up. They even copied the guilloche texture of Royal Oak dials - they didn't even bother to come up with a different one.
    So while I think it's a pretty good watch build quality-wise, the styling puts me off the PRX, personally.

    The 35mm Auto PRX is a fantastic watch; it wears more like a 36/37mm. The waffle pattern looks great in person, and the dial definitely has a sunburst effect to it (at least the ice blue one does.... and from your vid the mint green one seems to as well). HIGHLY recommended! However, the quartz ones just seem to plain to justify their price, imo.

    could the darker tone of the waffle dial actually be due to the shadow that the waffles generate giving a perception of a darker tone but them being the same color?

    They look a bit flat…in many ways tbh…despite the male end link 😉. The textured dial definitely improves the look, but a lug-to-lug of 51.5mm on the 40mm diameter flat case is not going to be comfortable, which means you’re going to have to pick the 34mm version 🤔

  • @TwentyOne_Five
    @TwentyOne_Five 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The 35mm doesn’t look small on you. It looks like a perfect fit. That bracelet is pretty wide where it meets the case. Probably makes it look bigger than 35mm case diameter.

  • @cunawarit
    @cunawarit 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    I think the 35mm looks perfect on you, at least on camera. The does 40mm does look too big.
    I opted for the mother of pearl dial 35mm quartz. I didn't think the additional weight made the automatic feel better, to me it just felt heavier, and I also preferred considerably thinner case of the quartz.
    Lighter is better to me, some watches I can even feel the rotor spinning and whilst I can get used to that, I think a watch that's light, thin, and comfortable is good.

    We got my dad the smaller PRX in dark blue (quartz) for his 60th last year. He's got smaller wrists than average as he's not a big man, however they're not abnormal. The smaller size is the original size of the late 70s version it's based on. Both versions wear bigger than stated and the 40 mm version in my opinion is horrendously big for a watch meant to be of that era. The big watch thing is still clinging on from the late 90s and 00s. A dress watch or every day thing like the PRX shouldn't be too big. Big dressy watches look terrible on most wrists because most people dont have 8 inch wrists.

    These have fallen in popularity as the integrated bracelet sports watch trend has (1) calmed down and (2) become a lot more saturated in the last two years. With that said, for the price, I'm not sure if there is an alternative with a dial this nice AND with bracelet finishing this stellar. Even seeing the bracelet on camera does not really do justice to how much it pops in real life.
