I know so many people who have top grades and are at university but can't get a job, almost every job market is saturated. Even career specific majors/degrees are full of knowledge that will never be applied. More important to get an apprenticeship/internship/work experience. 2:52 I know people are gonna come at me for saying this, but education really has lost its value. I know so many people who have top grades and are at university but can't get a job, almost every job market is saturated. Work experience is far more important, after a certain level maths and english education becomes quite useless, just a test of who can remember more and just filling up your head with useless knowledge that you will never use. Even career specific majors/degrees are full of knowledge that will never be applied. More important to get an apprenticeship/internship/work experience. Melo's got overseas pro basketball on his CV, he wants to play in the NBA why waste time learning Spanish or Biology??

Nah you cant assume that just off what he said, he's 16 at that age a lot of kids have problems with their parents and by 18,19 they realise what they put their parents thru and appreciate them way more. If you've watched him for years you'd know that he rarely shows emotion especially when professional entities like ESPN are involved. Watch 'ball in the family' , he talks about his mom a lot and how he's happy to have her around.
