Alright you sold me on the F500. I've been debating it for a few days. Haven't gotten into a fighting game since UMVC3 when I had a sick SF4 Mad Catz stick. Now I just picked up SF6 and am really getting into it but it's rough doing it on a regular controller. Great video boss!

Newer version of the F101 the 5 pin header for the joystick has been removed so you are stuck with the 8 pin ... which for some reason they soldered on to the joystick making stick replacement a chore.
It should work on the ps5 with a wired a connection if you plug a mayflash magic-s ultimate adapter in the USB-A port, that would be an extra purchase though
@leowolastname2250 that’s not working on a PS5 that’s working with an adapter. When reviewing questions I try to be as technical as possible, out of the box this isn’t for ps5.
Between the 500 and the 8bitdo arcade stick which would you think is a better buy? I recently got into using a stick and picked up a hori mini (i enjoy it but it moves around a lot due to its weight and lack of quality grips on the bottom) and am looking to get a better quality one and wanted your opinion on the matter. Btw, if it’s something that you’d be interested in, I would be really interested in videos regarding some of the techniques you use on stick control and how to improve right hand accuracy and timing to help improve execution with special moves and combos. All the best!!
That’s a great idea and a video concept I will consider. The 8Bitdo is for sure the more unique with its wireless functionality. But the 500 has the overall edge in my opinion.
@@AllAboutTKK Hey thanks for the fast response! I primarily play on switch and PC exclusively (my fight games of choice are classic sf series alpha, 2, and 3). I do play the switch undocked semi regularly so the wireless functionality seemed like a big benefit. I noticed that you like to swap out buttons and sticks for better quality ones, at my level of experience (beginner/ intermediate) how important do you think it is that I also swap out parts? Thanks again and I look forward to future videos!
It’s very important for an optimal experience. Even if you are playing casually, you don’t want buttons that feel broken, stock feels broken please take it from me, so which ever option you go with, when you can afford the time to get new buttons start with those, then stick. It is recommended but not something you must do. And you are welcome, I equally appreciate any person who supports me enough to watch my small channel. Max Luv!
I'm thinking about the F101 and I guess, I know it's main advantages and disadvantages. Only one important question remained: isn't it too small? I mean I've big hands and I'm not sure there is enough space at left side of the lever. What's your opinion?
Square you feel four clicks of direction, 8 way you feel 8. So for people that like to know that they are hitting precise directions to confirm their motions the 8 helps.

Bro you can still create content...Lets just say...ive watched alot of videos on the F500 but not many people discuss...their experience of using Sanwa parts against these OEM parts...U did BUT very briefly...You dont need to only make content about sanwa...But talk about whats missing alot more next time...like down to the tee what do you feel are the differences in feel , height , of buttons travel of boths stick buttons...all kinds of stuff...NOW GET TO WORK lol.

FYI, the square gate is not the four-way gate. It's eight-way, and it's a norm for fighting games.
Four-way gate is either diamond, or a plus-sign...

No it works out to be something compact. For me, the smaller the frame of the arcade stick, the better it’s suited for your lap.

This works on PS5 with a PS4 game using a PS4 controller.
I would not recommend this for you as a plug and play means.
What would you recommend out of the F500 (£87) or F300 elite (£97)?
That’s tough. The elite better stick but I like the body of the 500 better, I think it depends on if you want larger frame and something you can work to make your own.
