I've been gaming to greater and lesser degrees for the past 30 odd years and I've never owned an arcade stick... until recently, that is. I got the NeoGeo Arcade Stick Pro for Christmas but haven't used it only for its controller functionality. I just check it out, especially to see if it works with the VS.
Great video, Crow. And good call on this stick over the 8bitdo stick. I have the 8bitdo controller and am not a fan. The stick is really mushy and there is so little space for your hand on the left. Becomes uncomfortable. My Hori Arcade Stick for Switch works great on Evercade. Luckily, it has a home button which maps automatically for the Evercade.
Crow I've got the Mayflash F500 Elite Pro Arcade Stick and love the Sanwa Buttons and Joystick it comes with. Do you think it compares well to your V2 Stick?
It seems like at 5:56 and at 6:00, while you are peeling off the plastic, the underneath plate is getting apart in the top/left and bottom/left corners... am I wrong?
I use my F500 V2 on the Series X (and many other consoles), it works perfectly. Keep in mind, that you have to connect a gamepad or a Mayflash Magic Boots USB stick to the USB port of the Arcade Stick in order to make it work.
