Lovely fish, spectacular location, I hope somebody else knew you were there, looks pretty hazardous!!
Do you get pollack and bass there too?

Good point re safety, yep - someone knew! Pollack yes, a few bass too.

I recently fished at that location and have personally found it to be the best place to fish for mackerel, I recommend fishing near the beach shown at 1:07 as me and my brother managed to catch a lot of fish there.

Access is via the Great Orme toll road (£3). Drive along that road for a few minutes and you turn a corner whereupon you'll see an overhang in the cliff. You can park thereabouts and access to the mark is opposite, through a gap in the wall and you can see the path that twists its way down. Anyone fishing here should take care on the descent and ascent. Thanks for your comment.

One Rod Vlog thanks. I didn't have time to go to llandudno yesterday but i went next to the "rainbow bridge" near hen colwyn and that was a really good time fishing. I would recommend trying there some time with a spinner. Fun few hours there

Are you able to catch bass at this location? I live in the town, I've just never tried it.
If so, what set up would you recommend?

Hi and thanks for your comments. I haven't targeted bass at this spot, but I'm sure they'll be there (noting all bass caught by recreational anglers in 2018 must be returned, see: www.gov.uk/government/news/guidance-on-2018-bass-fishing-published). Personally, I'd try float fishing a prawn or sandeel. You could try fishing a lure mid water, such as a diving plug or soft plastic, but given this is a relatively deep water spot, I'm not so sure that surface lures would be a great choice, though I may try and prove myself wrong one day!
