Hey, thanks for watching my Pixel 6 Pro review, much love as always! If you're interested, I've got lots more Pixel 6 content... I have the Cloudy White Pro and I love it quite a lot, but I feel like the top portion isn't quite as grey as I thought it would be. I tried a few skins for the top portion but couldn't get any of them to work. Overall, it's a really great phone.
500 nits is not bright… can’t see your screen at all in the sun especially if you wear sunglasses all the time. Terrible max brightness. They should have made it at least 700 or more.
Best way to solve the fingerprint sensor being slow is to add the same finger to your finger list more than once. Essentially giving the phone more data to quickly capture your finger. It's worked great on mine. Cheers!
Got the Pixel 6 last week and over the moon with it. I upgraded from the 3 so everything is better, love the screen and the sound from the speakers. Battery life is also very good.
i also upgraded from yhe three black to the cloudy white 256. i love everything about the phone. the feel the weight. the camera. the size reduction in photos but still look good at like 2MB like its insane. my s21ultra regularly does 5-9mb ones
Ya with pixel the ai takes time to learn, I had a pixel 5 before I had the 6 pro so all that data migrated over so I never had a problem with the battery.
My theory about the US-based reviewer's battery life experience as compared to yours: the US-based Pixel 6 Pro was trying to pull mmWave cell signal whilst your UK-based P6P was pulling Sub-6 signal, which (I believe) consumes less power.
Funnily enough, someone mentioned that all the Canadian reviewers had great battery life. Personally though, I'm also Canadian and my battery life has been fine, but could be better.
I'm located in the USA as well - was having awful battery life. I live in a big city and was hoping that 5G would be no issue. I was wrong. After forcing LTE, I've had great battery life and no complaints whatsoever. To be fair, I had the same 5G battery suck issue with my OP8 Pro. It's unfortunate. I am running Nova launcher and I wonder if that sucks more battery than the stock launcher.
I can't be bothered with 5G at all, and have since turned it off. My battery lasts about a day with regular usage (photos, navigation, social media, music). I am starting to try it out now with working from home to see how much minimal usage consumes.
People seem to be forgetting that the same exact thing happened when LTE first launched. It wasn't widespread so the early phones with the radios were searching for signal and killing the battery. Going to be some time before this is resolved. The phone is future-proof. People should just turn off 5G for now and it's more readily available, turn it back.
When I got mine the battery life was surprisingly bad and barely lasted a day. However, I noticed it's gotten better after a few weeks. I think it's got an adaptive battery algorithm that monitors your usage and then adjusts with time. I'm now getting a day and half of battery life with moderate use.
First 3 days battery life was ok-ish. 5-6 hours screen on time and would last from 95% to 15% for 24 hours. From the 4th day I have 9-10 hours screen on time and I can charge it every day and a half. I don't game on the phone but the rest is normal usage.
The battery on my standard 6 has been exceptional from the get go. 8-10 hours screen on time with charge left over. Really impressed me and seems super optimised. Granted most of the time I'm on WiFi and not using 5G however
I like my 6 Pro, however, fingerprint on and off, the system clock shows AM setting when it's PM, rather annoying, yet in clock settings it's showing correctly. Other than that I'm pleased, I find the signal works better on this than the 12 Pro Max I had before. Camera is amazing. Cheers xx
When I got the pixel 2 when it was new it did the same thing. The Pixel line you have to let it get a few updates and it will be a great phone I'm just hoping it doesn't start to do that thing where your clock and weather disappears like the 2 but that was when it got that last update that pretty much killed the phone
Pixel 6 battery for my usage is 1.5 days quite comfortably, comparing it to 5 it was about 1.25 days. in heavy use still i normally end up 45-50 percent, compared to mere 25-30 on pixel 5.
Oh Jesus this means I have a faulty unit. Mine doesn't last more than a few hours.I cant use the phone if its not in battery save mode. Touch screen is but unresponsive and finger scanner is the worst
My biggest gripes are, VERY slow charging, drops cellular connection on WIFI, and it freezes once in a while. But I feel software updates will resolve most of those. I got a Galaxy Watch4 Classic working with ECG and Blood Pressure with a few tweaks and enjoying the experience a lot. Overall I am extremely happy and am putting my iPhone 12 Pro max and Apple Watch Series 5 up for sale today. BTW I have a skin condition that makes my finger pads peel but havent had any issues with the Finger print unlock. 9.5 Hours SOT with 5G disabled.
Get a different brick. OP and other bricks just charge it at 1450mA while a 35W Samsung gives it 4000mA plus. Still not at the 30W but software updates should solve that.
Not being funny but I think fingerprint readers are perfectly positioned on the back, failing that the power button. In screen readers are slower as you can tap the reader on the back as you take your phone out of your pocket when they're on the back of your phone. I can't recall consumers crying our for these in screen readers and they only became a thing so phone manufacturers could stand out from their competitors. "Hey look what our phone does, isn't it cool?"
The in screen fingerprint on my OnePlus 8 Pro was actually super reliable and quick. It definitely varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. I would say the one advantage you have is being able to unlock the phone while it's lying flat on a desk etc
YES! THANK YOU!! Front-mounted readers in general are absolutely horrible in my experience, and I am very disappointed in the fact that the far superior back readers have become a "low budget" option. And it's all because companies decided that they need to focus on the "high tech" stuff.
Love my 6 pro. Really wanted a telephoto lens and better screen although coming from a OnePlus phone I do miss my warp charge. Slow charging speed has been the only thing that really bothers me
That piece of shit doesn't even bother using the phone his reviews are extremely flawed doesn't bother extending his reviews, he doesn't even realize it has adaptive battery on it that's why his battery sucks, as I looked on other reviews have far better battery life even I can't wait to get my ordered phone.
@@Trafce I have it and accubattery estimates a full charge screen on usage of 10 hours if I had screen on the entire day. Today I'm down to 16% with around 5 hrs of screen on time, but with a lot of Bluetooth music streaming & navigation. Second day I had it I drove 5 hours home from work streaming music & navigation the entire way and had about 40% left. In USA, with Verizon.
@@redclaw72666 it's about out of box experience....like most users. Called the way you want: lazy, this or that but it's all about that, make it as simple as possible (user friendly)
@@redclaw72666 I'm not a sub or fan of MKBHD, but you're rude to call him and possibly others names. You could've just said something like how you disagree with his reviews because he doesn't test phones effectively or whatever else you wanted to say. The insult wasn't necessary.
I believe they called it an adaptive battery. It learns your phone usage and uses the battery accordingly. The battery might be mediocre out of the box. However, when you set up and use the phone for some time, the battery lasts all day. My recent day with Pixel 6 Pro: I took over a hundred fifty photos of products for sale throughout 4-5 hrs. Then manually edited them all through my pixel. After that, I took over 15 videos and also used the phone to edit them. Then I worked on some advertisement photo editing through various phone apps. In between checking the emails, Instagram, googling, a little bit of TH-cam etc. In the end, I had over 60% battery left.
I cancelled my order cause the delivery dates kept moving from December -> January -> November -> December. Also the free buds I got were defective 😂 I was pretty disappointed with my order process, and looks like it wasn't meant to be
I wanted this to be more about the nitty gritty of using the phone and any bugs or issues in everyday use, but it was more of a rehash of the phones features.😔
Been following you for quite some time and I must say Chris, the level of quality of your videos has reached another level. Not to say they were anyhow bad before. No click baiting, funny and on point. Wishing you all the best for the future and to definitely continue with your unique style of tech reviewing! Cheers from Croatia!
Thank you for the fantastic review. I do like smaller more compact phones, but coming from a Pixel 4 XL I don’t believe having the smaller Pixel 6 will be any upgrade to the Pixel 4 XL. That’s why I ordered the Pixel 6 Pro and waiting for it to arrive in two week’s time.
The feature I most want from this phone is the ability to screen cold callers and the "on hold" feature that allows the Google AI to wait in a phone queue for me
That feature is a game changer. It will be hard for me to walk away from a Pixel phone now because of that. Hopefully other Android phones get that feature bin Android 12
Have to say, I've recently got a Pixel 6 Pro after my beloved Huawei P30 Pro finally died (dead wifi card/jobby) after 2.5 years of reliable service. I've gone from the best phone I've ever had, to the worst - so much so, that I'm returning the phone to EE. The camera frequently freezes - when opening the camera and clicking the x4 zoom - I have to restart the phone as it just refuses to do anything. A couple of occasions it wouldn't even answer a call. Last weekend my wife and I were out walking for a few hours, and her iPhone 11 Pro Max (also 2.5 yrs old) battery lasted as long, if not longer than my 1 month old Pixel 6 Pro. Watching these reviews to help me decide on what to go for next...🤔
@@TeresaGriffith I've now got an Oppo Find X5 Pro, and have to say it's been great so far. Only slight grumble is the auto brightness doesn't seem to work on occasion, but other than that, it's decent. Even with this though, the battery isn't on par with the P30 Pro - but the 5G signal might have something to do with that.
I completely agree with the missing headphone jack missing. It's been a few years now without them in smartphones and i've gone through at least 5 of the silly poor adapters i've been forced to buy when I was to use my studio headphones with my phone. I have used some wireless headphones but the fact I like to fall asleep some nights with headphones in means im constantly re-charging the wireless which is just mega annoying!
I have the 6 Pro, in the UK in an area with poor 4 and 5g reception, so I disabled 5g and 120hz as I absolutely cannot tell the difference, over 16hrs off charge I average 5.5 house SOT with 20% battery remaining which is plenty good enough for me. As for the fingerprint sensor, if I deliberately place either thumb and leave it there it averages a successful read 90% of the time, it's definitely not the quickest but for me it's pretty reliable if you don't casually plonk your digit at it.
I'm probably gonna be looking for updated reviews 3 months or so later. It seems like there is a lot that is not yet resolved in their software that could be reviewed
I'm going to be getting the Pixel 7 Pro when it's available because I've had a Note 4, Motorola Z Force, iPhone 5, Note 9 and I bought a new Note 10+ 5G last March and it's been good for the most part and still gets hot when gaming but from what I've seen on reviews of the Pixel 6 Pro is it's definitely worth getting and I can't imagine the Pixel 7 Pro being worse so I'm definitely looking forward to getting it.
By far the best reviews. Keep up the good work. 👌 I'm upgrading to this from the Huawei P30 PRO which I still love and if not for Google I'd get the P50 PRO. Interesting to see how the camera compares.
I've also got the P30 Pro. And if it weren't for the fact I broke my screen, I would not be upgrading. Alas, I have, so I will. Still trying to work out whether I should be cheap and go for the OnePlus Nord 2, since I do appreciate fast charging, or whether I should be extravagant and go for the Pixel 6 Pro, since I can now no longer live without my telephoto lens. That I use once a quarter.
@@craigdavies1747 If only people would allow Huawei to use GMS again. It feels criminal to not allow a company with a $1bn a year R&D budget to use the fruits of their labour to sell me cheap, highly advanced gear. Relatively speaking. Even if they got their start via industrial espionage and taking Nortel tech and using that to undercut Nortel when bidding for contracts. Allegedly. I want the Huawei P50 Pro. But you know, no GMS, no sale. Oppo Find X3 Pro also looks tasty and it is also on the list of potential new phones. Fingers crossed black Friday will see some decimating of the profit margin. ;)
@@verflucht well said I agree. My friend has a recent mate phone without Google and regrets it especially as it's not just apps. There is more going on in the background even if you sideload Google it's not the same. The Xiaomi options look good aswell but I've got to go with what my network carries in the UK.
Same here, and the ultra fast rapid charge is the killer feature I'll miss the most. Some mornings late for work it's a life saver. Think I'll hang on to it just a bit longer...
There is a problem with the "battery" on the pixel 6 Pro. It looks as though there is something with the camera where occasionally you will burn battery power. It has happened to be on two occasions. On both occasions I found my power was on 10-12% when it should have been around about 90% and the camera app had eaten 80% of the battery power in the last 2 hours (while not in use). Rebooting the phone resolved it but it's definitely there.
Good shit, definitely recommend for people who generally don't enjoy tech review videos. I just ordered this phone so figured I'd better do some research post-facto...stoked to get this, been rockin a Moto X4 for over 4 years so I'll for sure notice the difference.
I've got the Pixel 6 and am happy with it apart from the slow charging. I bought a 30 watt charger for it but it's far slower to charge when compared to my OnePlus 7t, which is also 30 watt. I think Google's charging speed claims are misleading.
I'm coming from a 7T too. Charging speed and software are the biggest downsides. Android 12 pull down is weird, no customization, no face unlock, no off screen gestures and no EQ in settings :/
Major dread I'm facing is that charging downgrade. Going from the One Plus 6t here myself to the Pixel 6 Pro soon. Will dearly miss this warp charging, what a beauty.
Photorealistic graphics and AR on smart glasses to do what Tony Stark does in movies would be so cool. Phones have been stale for awhile. I really care more about different form factors. Not cameras.
I use my pixel 6 pro all day all the time. My screen on time is always around 8 hours a day with 16 hours stand by time. Most of the time I can get through the whole day. Sometimes I'll need about 10 minute quick charge to get through the rest of the day. This is my first ever actual all day battery. My pixel 3 in it's 2nd full year of use needed to be charged frequently. Up to 3 times a day to make it through the day. I am very impressed with the battery.
Hi Uncle Chris, I am absolutely loving my Google Pixel 6 pro and have found it to be a really nice experience. I do really love the build, as a person who has only had mid range phones in the past for the most part, it is just so nice to fondle. The only two things I am not a fan of is the finger print reader which works but sometimes I have to give it a few goes. I think that is mainly because as a vision impaired person there is no tactile indication of the finger print reader. it does tell you that you are touching it when you find it but I wish they had put it on the power button. The second minor gripe is the fact it takes so long to charge. Takes me over one and a half ours from 20%, and that is with the charging brick I bought from Google. Still over all I really love this phone and am very happy with it.
Just got the Pixel 6 in Sorta Seafoam. A very nice phone indeed. The camera performed well at a pub gig the other night, clean crisp photos even in the mixed on stage lighting. The fingerprint sensor works okay, nowhere near as good as the old rear fingerprint sensor or face unlock though. The only thing I miss from my 4xl is the squeeze for GA which I found I used quite a bit. The only bug I've found is that when using the phone to phone transfer on set up is the notification sound has stuck to what was on my 4xl and is impossible to change using the normal settings route.
5:08 actually Google Pixel 6 Pro display doesn't drop to 10 hz, you can check it by activate the "show refresh rate" in the Developer options. The screen will always using 120hz when you start swiping the screen, and it will drop to 60hz when you are not using it. I think Google doesn't fully utilise this LPTO screen to cut down the power comsumption of the screen.
I just got my Pixel 6 Pro in this week, but so far I'm loving it! The one gripe I have with it (and this is just me nitpicking and slightly spoiled by Samsung) is that there is no way to make folders in the app drawer without using another launcher (which defeats the purpose of getting a Pixel in the first place IMO). I've been a lifelong Samsung Galaxy user, and loved having similar apps or apps by the same company in their own respective folders in the app drawer. I know you can make folders on the home screen, but I don't want my home screen cluttered with app icons like an iPhone. Lol.
I work at the ATT store and I got this in the mail, me and my manager opened it and I was absolutely astonished by the quality the camera on this phone has. Seriously the selfie camera is the best on in any phone I have ever seen in my life
I'm gonna say battery 🔋 is OK. Was expecting wayyy better , getting a bigger battery on the pro. It's been a week for me with this model. I've even turned off the 5G one day and left the smooth display on see if battery would improve. It did, but nothing crazy. The next day I turned off smooth display and left 5G on, an the battery was better than with the smooth display on and 5G turned off. So basically I'm going from 630AM at 100% and about 4PM I'm down to 15% . So I need to charge the phone back up to last me till end of day. Im staying positive that maybe software or adaptive battery makes a significant improvement. Cus in my case, I'm almost thinking of returning this phone back.
@@egdoraaldressi6519 i can't say its gotten any better. Maybeeee sometimes a little better. But for the most part is still ok. I find myself with the battery saver on everytime because if i dont have it on, it won't last me all day. It'll be like at 15% by 2pm .
Always enjoy watching your reviews dude.. hahahaha... Would be awesome if you'd also share a link of your wallpaper(s) of the device being reviewed in the description, they kinda cool. 👍
Out of my price range but the review was really entertaining, hey I think you broke the dare from last week's Tec spurt weekly you didn't say shenanigans, anyway great review.
I had the Nexus 6P when that came out, the Pixel 3A, 4XL and currently have the 4A 5G. I collect my 6 Pro tomorrow and I can't wait. I wish it had a flat screen instead of the curved display. Makes getting a decent glass screen protector expensive. Also crappy optical fingerprint sensors are a step back compared to dedicated sensors like on the 4A 5G and even the Solo sensor of the 4XL. You can save 5 finger prints - I always register my dominant hands' thumb 3 times and the other thumb 2 times. It makes it much more reliable 👍🏻
Just purchased my Pixel 6 Pro yesterday. T-Mobile gave me $900 trade in value for my Pixel 4a5g. So my new phone if FREE . I’m super happy and looking forward to enjoying the bigger screen, better camera, 120 refresh rate. Can’t wait for delivery this week.
Great and Informative video. I have a Samsung Fold 3 as my primary phone and was debating between this phone or the Surface Duo 2 as my back-up phone(for different reasons) and ulitmately went with this for the camera, big screen, 120hz refresh rate screen, wireless charging and good speakers. Also I couldn't find a Surface Duo 2 256GB at the price I thought was fair or if if it was, in a good condition (I may still get this or the Duo 1 in the future as I love the idea of 2 screens). Anyways I am waiting for it to be delivered to be and look forward to using it(also my first time using a Pixel). 📱📱❤️❤️❤️❤️
My experience from the UK after 2 weeks, great phone, camera good, battery i would give 5/10, finger print reader is crap. hopefully they can improve both. I also do get random heat ups, restart solves it though. No issues with the performance side of things, screen is nice, speakers decent, fine for phone calls.
What are your issues with the battery? Too many lies regarding battery life on videos etc ,I don't trust anyone ,a lot of people I have noticed will say there battery is good when it isn't just to feel better about there purchase.
@@philipharborne1434 I'm fed up of bad battery life on phones, the best I had was the p30 pro ,the battery life was immense ,now I have a s21 ultra on exynos and "apparently " exynos isn't too bad anymore with battery life but I beg to differ.
Agreed that battery life is definitely better than reported by some. It has been really good on my P6 Pro. Getting nearly two days out of it with plenty of media consumption, calls, Bluetooth music playback and Google maps.
Please don't listen to these bloggers, vloggers they obviously get paid for promoting phones etc. This is simply the worst phone I have purchased particularly at this price point. Battery life is embarrassing. Sorry need to be honest.
Lack of any face unlock at all is crazy to me coming from a 4 XL. Can’t believe we are stuck with that average optical fp scanner when the face unlock on the 4 is iPhone level in terms of speed and security. That alone feels like a big downgrade to me.
Fingerprint sensor works fine for me, read somewhere that Google pushed an update that addresses this and the ghost calling issue that thankfully I have not experienced. I don't get why the removal of sd expansion is still a gripe, its been this way for years and companies have no incentive to bring it back when they can get ppl to she'll out more $ for more storage. Love these videos, the information is great!
I got myself a Pixel 6 Pro on day of release and I absolutely love it. My only gripe is how bad the fingerprint scanner can be, really missing face recognition and hoping Google can rectify it through software
@@wild4fp I have a 4A 5G and the finger print sensing is great, but you have to account for the fact it's not a crappy optical sensor like the 6 Pro. The Soli sensor of the 4XL I had was great for Face unlock.
I pre ordered the pro and I've had it since launch date and the battery is absolutely incredible. I watched another review where the battery life is being slacked off(sorry tech spur I'm not exclusive to you 😁) and I don't agree with it. Play loads of games and watch stuff all the time and I've not drained my once, Lowest I got was 24%. Compared to my pixel 4xl it's amazing battery life. Handles games very well and the camera is just 👌 Thanks for the review hopefully this will be a new dawn for my beloved Google phones
Hi I have a iPhone 11 rn which I bought right out and now on a sim only, I can get a pretty decent deal on the Pixel 6 Pro, would you say it’s a lot better than iPhone 11? Battery wise? And camera wise? Tia.
Great review. How is the audio quality? The speakers? I have read that Google Pixel 6/6 Pro are bass-heavy and do not have a good recording capabilities. I am a musician, so I ask.
Its all about the Camera for the pixel 6 and the 6 pro. It has one of the largest sensors available on a phone - alongside the Xiaomi Mi pro's at almost 3/4 of 1 inch. That's about 60% larger than that on the iphone 13 and Samsung S22s. Its even larger than the "1 inch" Sony Xperia Pro-i camera as that only actually uses 60% of the sensor. They have best in class physical cameras on any current smartphone. The computational assistance is great, but whether its the best is subjective. However, you can shoot raw unlike on iPhone so overall its probably the best phone for photography.
I wanted to chime in about the battery. While the battery may suck at the start, the new chip in the pixel 6 actually "learns" the best way to use your battery, by shutting down or idling apps depending on how you use it. so the more you use the phone, the better it will get
what a relief hearing that the battery life is actually good. That's would've been a massive dealbreaker for me. The adaptive battery feature takes some time to adapt to the user maybe that was the issue
Picked one up yesterday, unfortunately no phone stores near me were selling them outright and currys didn't have the 6 Pro in stock for another month, however I got extremely lucky and was able to pick up the last (hooray?) Pixel 6 in store. Didn't have my colour of choice (that weird white one) but they had it in black which was good enough for me. Barely used it however I absolutely adore the thing, this is my first flagship smartphone however I have used some flagships for short periods of time in the past. I am EXTREMELY impressed. Maybe it's because I like the stock android experience (no longer have to flash Pixel experience, yay) but in general I think it's a decent phone. Not huge, not small, not heavy, not light, everything just seems right.... Looks good too! Only thing I HATE is the lack of facial recognition, slapped a cheap Chinese screen protector on the thing and now the fingerprint scanner won't work lol. Other than that, I think I'm in love?
I downloaded gcam on my Nokia 8.3 and my photos became a better quality and less noise. Video quality is also amazing. It's depends from a software in most cases. Try to install a gcam.
I think maybe the batteries of the pixel 6 and 6 pro were bad at launch but got fixed by a software update and in this way, Google can actually prove their point of their phones getting better over time
Hey. Amazing and very helpful video. How many days were you waiting to receive the phone? Do you know how long will i wait if i order from google ? Thanks in advance 😊

Yeah.... here in the USA...with 5G mmwave, it's trash. With LTE, it's great
I'm located in the USA as well - was having awful battery life.
Great to hear the battery life has been good , it's the one thing that I was most worried about.
Granted most of the time I'm on WiFi and not using 5G however
This is my first day on a full charge....it might get 6 hours SOT....on the pro... hoping it gets better....
I think marqouis said it was crap
Chris, you never mentioned the absolutely incredible voice dictation a real game changer. My humble opinion 🙂
Cheers xx
I'm sure if you report the clock bug they'll fix it
When I got the pixel 2 when it was new it did the same thing. The Pixel line you have to let it get a few updates and it will be a great phone I'm just hoping it doesn't start to do that thing where your clock and weather disappears like the 2 but that was when it got that last update that pretty much killed the phone
Then use 24 hour clock?
You still use the 12 hour clock??
@@austin9570 Oh, God ..my little 2 XL lost the clock and weather. I thought I'd done it!
Pixel 6 battery for my usage is 1.5 days quite comfortably, comparing it to 5 it was about 1.25 days. in heavy use still i normally end up 45-50 percent, compared to mere 25-30 on pixel 5.
How long did it take for that to come into effect? I got mine on Friday. Stopped charging at 6:45am this morning and have 56% at 16:39
Oh Jesus this means I have a faulty unit. Mine doesn't last more than a few hours.I cant use the phone if its not in battery save mode.
Touch screen is but unresponsive and finger scanner is the worst
Coming from a pixel 4 XL your charging that device twice a day
that's the non pro right? good to hear i'm getting that one as i don't want a bigger phone. just have to wait some time to get non scalped price..
9.5 Hours SOT with 5G disabled.
yeah its just a bad phone, and these brain geniuses that buy it pay 800 for it WAHAHAHAHAHAH
Ehhh, I don't know. I experienced NONE of the issues you mentioned.
Very slow. 30w??
@@craigdavies1747 it says 30 watts but caps at 23 and quickly slows down to 15
Get a different brick.
S21 ultras fingerprint is very reliable when compared to pixel 6 pro
I agree. The reader on the back of my Pixel 2 XL works first time Everytime. No fumbling around trying to find it
YES! THANK YOU!! Front-mounted readers in general are absolutely horrible in my experience, and I am very disappointed in the fact that the far superior back readers have become a "low budget" option. And it's all because companies decided that they need to focus on the "high tech" stuff.
I wish all phones were reviewed on the "Moist Pants Scale"....good to know the google pro is "Full on Shower" 😂
Brilliant 👍
🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️
Love my 6 pro. Really wanted a telephoto lens and better screen although coming from a OnePlus phone I do miss my warp charge. Slow charging speed has been the only thing that really bothers me
As far as i know, MKBHD uses 100% brightness on any phone, for some reason, which might explain the crappy battery life he got on the Pixel 6.
Do you have it?
Because I do and last for a few hours only.

Crazy how time flies I cant believe it's been one month since release
It hasn't to the public. These reviewers get the device several weeks in advance but are under embargo.
My thoughts exactly 🥴
Time flies so fast. It's like it was only released yesterday
I believe they called it an adaptive battery. It learns your phone usage and uses the battery accordingly. The battery might be mediocre out of the box. However, when you set up and use the phone for some time, the battery lasts all day. My recent day with Pixel 6 Pro:
I took over a hundred fifty photos of products for sale throughout 4-5 hrs.
Outstanding review, entertaining & informative. Thanks for your work.
"one month later" ...still waiting for mine to ship and I pre-ordered it lol
I cancelled my order cause the delivery dates kept moving from December -> January -> November -> December. Also the free buds I got were defective 😂
I was pretty disappointed with my order process, and looks like it wasn't meant to be
@@surajkattige9684 aw man that's unfortunate, luckily mine went from January > December > Early November > December > now November 11th so we'll see
I wanted this to be more about the nitty gritty of using the phone and any bugs or issues in everyday use, but it was more of a rehash of the phones features.😔
I see you're a man of culture to have that wallpaper and use Genshin Impact for performance benchmarking.
@@Jthall1990 I hope so too! I feel like Google will want to hold onto it as a pixel exclusive
Let me know what you go with Wayne. I have a Huawei P30 Pro and was just looking ahead (before it breaks!).
At 1:04 I finally know where you get all those amazing wallpapers. Time to change the background in my newly bought A52s thanks to your review
I completely agree with the missing headphone jack missing. It's been a few years now without them in smartphones and i've gone through at least 5 of the silly poor adapters i've been forced to buy when I was to use my studio headphones with my phone. I have used some wireless headphones but the fact I like to fall asleep some nights with headphones in means im constantly re-charging the wireless which is just mega annoying!
my original pixel 6 shipped with a discolored green screen but after getting a replacement the phone has been fantastic
love the video
How buy you
“Ooh,aaw. My retina’s are on fire!” Lol 😂
Chris can I once again say how much I appreciate your disdain for the iPhone, as well as your unique review vernacular
I'm probably gonna be looking for updated reviews 3 months or so later. It seems like there is a lot that is not yet resolved in their software that could be reviewed
Almost every pixel release have so much software issues at launch. It's beyond annoying lol
Always enjoying your reviews. Information+humor=gate success!
@@verflucht I'm thinking of the oppo find X3 pro also. I'll wait till January though.
Some bots here
It's Google adaptive charging which is designed to prolong the lifespan of the battery.
Major dread I'm facing is that charging downgrade. Going from the One Plus 6t here myself to the Pixel 6 Pro soon. Will dearly miss this warp charging, what a beauty.
There is no excuse for it with a flagship.
Photorealistic graphics and AR on smart glasses to do what Tony Stark does in movies would be so cool. Phones have been stale for awhile. I really care more about different form factors. Not cameras.
Where did you get that wallpaper and icon pack? Review is nice as always.
Love your reviews!
Where do u get the wallpapers? They look sick.
Found your channel and always impressed by your taste of wallpapers on your phone. I will always check your video simply because that from now on.
I've got a Samsung S20fe, I'm fed up with Samsung is worth the upgrade?
I use my pixel 6 pro all day all the time. My screen on time is always around 8 hours a day with 16 hours stand by time. Most of the time I can get through the whole day. Sometimes I'll need about 10 minute quick charge to get through the rest of the day. This is my first ever actual all day battery. My pixel 3 in it's 2nd full year of use needed to be charged frequently. Up to 3 times a day to make it through the day.
I am very impressed with the battery.
Hi Uncle Chris,
I am absolutely loving my Google Pixel 6 pro and have found it to be a really nice experience.
Where do you get your Wallpapers?
It does cut to 10hz, the refresh rate visualizer in Android 12 only displays 60hz as the lowest it can go.
Lol.
I wanna know how technical support is for this phone now
I work at the ATT store and I got this in the mail, me and my manager opened it and I was absolutely astonished by the quality the camera on this phone has.
Cus in my case, I'm almost thinking of returning this phone back.
how's the battery life is doing now ? is it getting better or worse
@@egdoraaldressi6519 i can't say its gotten any better. Maybeeee sometimes a little better. But for the most part is still ok. I find myself with the battery saver on everytime because if i dont have it on, it won't last me all day. It'll be like at 15% by 2pm .

Sure Google’s working hard on all these issues. All phone comes with advantage and disadvantage. It’s a dam great device for sure, love it.
Very True.
Was waiting for a review like this with all details regarding the after launch updates. Waiting for Pixel 6 to launch in India.

Do you think its worth waiting for the 7 pro over the 6 pro
Hi Pixel 6 pro is 649 £ in google store, do you think it is price / performance champ?
Hey, where did you get this wallpapers from? Any one please help me out!
I wanted to chime in about the battery. While the battery may suck at the start, the new chip in the pixel 6 actually "learns" the best way to use your battery, by shutting down or idling apps depending on how you use it. so the more you use the phone, the better it will get
Thanks appreciate sharing thoughts, as I ponder purchase.
Where do you get your wallpapers?
If you find out, I wanna know too lmao
what a relief hearing that the battery life is actually good. That's would've been a massive dealbreaker for me. The adaptive battery feature takes some time to adapt to the user maybe that was the issue
Where does he get his wallpapers
Compare than oppo find x5 pro .. what do you think ?
Great video this or s21 ultra?
Other than that, I think I'm in love?
nice, rockin that takt op destiny wallpaper. that show is actually so good, love the classical music theyre putting in it
I downloaded gcam on my Nokia 8.3 and my photos became a better quality and less noise.
