OBS Ford F150 Gasser gets a new Distributor

So today we are going to install a new Distributor on the 1996 Ford F150 2wd 5.0 302 V8. we are doing this because the truck starts fine when cold but once warmed up the pickup coil inside the distributor is starting to fault and has hard starts or even No starts. We are using a Duralast Gold distributor but only because it is what is available right now otherwise, we would wait on an A1 Cardone or OEM Motorcraft replacement. It is possible to replace the pickup coil if you have a press there is a roll pin that is pressed in the is holding it together?

Yes, there are 2 roll pins, one by the gear and one by the spacer next to it, it's worth just buying the whole distributor vs headache, but that's just me
