  • In this video we finish up the Tron Dnamic, very impressed with this model! Can’t wait to get a flight in and see how it performs. Coming in at 7lbs with out a battery is extremely light for a 700! Stay tuned for the maiden!

    Finless Bob (helifreak) was the reason I was successful with helis in the first place. You are the reason I’ve kept going! You two are much alike. Super videos!!!

    I can’t believe that after 15 yrs of building helis, companies are actually making provisions for things like included esc’s. Align could learn a little from this video.

      So Align is and was popular for so many years because of the combo kits. Having everything in the box helps alot of people who don’t know how to spec a build. But I’m so happy to see Tron doing a combo like this and using quality elections!

    Hey Jeff, your build videos are so much fun to watch and I like your attention to details. Just a suggestion that would help heaps of newbies. Please do a separate video for step by step wiring of ESC to FBL and setting up the governor preferably with Futaba radio gear or whatever you have available. Currently there’s no proper A to Z wiring of ESC to FBL unit in TH-cam. Thanks for awesome videos mate 🙏🏽

      Thank you! I greatly appreciate that! So I actually have videos on wiring, FBL setup, ESC telemetry setup and governor (with Vbar) but I need to do a governor with Ikon. I personally don’t have or fly Futaba (long story) but have spektrum, Radiomaster and Vbar. I’m glad you enjoy the channel and videos!

    Hi Jeff 🙂 I've got my kit Raw Piuma with: x-nova 4030-560, kst 3x 915/905x, hw 130a, azure 700s and azure 115s.
    Can't wait for build it 😁
    And Tron is nice project. I want to see your opinion overall. Some buddy said Tron have many little issues with the construction and a few issues with the quality of details.

      Sounds like an awesome SAB Piuma build! I love my piuma! So this being my first Tron that I have built, I personally am very impressed. The quality of the parts is outstanding. There was zero issues at all for fit and finish. My only complaint with the build is that the manual needs work, but the actual kit itself is awesome

    Hi Jeff,
    Do you have a link for that electric screwdriver you use? Love this video as I have this kit. I hope to get another one later. Two is better than one. lol 😃

      Hello! This is the one that I use
      www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCF680N2-Gyroscopic-Screwdriver-Battery/dp/B00DL7QDS2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=160WHWJZAVYII&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.S1vfHfwccYj8XkIXDhioQKnu9VMuY60SMzSOwJuUGrlLAEjLEhEiq6iN2AFTtMxvp0tElTc-2KkemAoa3BrBeXpstna0O-zVzlqDsVhObeC9zRkOEJVPhzhDPk8Kj6L7rhObPUsf2y_rTKrDaPX2k5zYn00TZMaAa4AKxQ8PuChXDA_ZkuUO2p4yD81waP_559DnnGeam3H9cK8haSMgSw.r78Nu90bf8N7EkyBUn4a3-YwoXLCZsimeFpqkLY5aXw&dib_tag=se&keywords=dewalt+gyroscopic+screwdriver&qid=1719889096&sprefix=DeWalt+gyroscopic+driver%2Caps%2C233&sr=8-1
      It really is a fantastic tool to have. You can set for Chuck so you never strip a screw and it’s gyroscopic so you just twist a little and or a lot depending on how you want it. I use MIP bits in it.

    This is literally a Align Trex 700 with belt drive, its basically identical.
    Really nothing much has changed with models over the last 15 years besides better motors and battery's. Even vbar v6 is slightly better than 5.3 and most won't notice the difference. Plus all models seem to now be back to belt drive system, from 15 years ago.

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I would completely disagree, they have nothing in common whatsoever not even a single part is identical. Yes, I have a T-Rex 700 electric and Nitro and can compare them. Completely different builds and designs. And again, I would disagree. The V bar Evo is different than NEO and regular Vbar. A bunch more options inside than Evo as well as the biggest improvement which is night and day and you can definitely feel it is tail performance. A lot has changed on these models in 15 years. Been flying helicopters since the GMP cricket days. I have flown almost every helicopter that has ever come to the market over the years and the new machines fly so much much better.
