It's just remote working for one day! This was during a long holiday weekend I've never gone to Laos or Vietnam. Comparably, Philippines prices are lower than Thailand or around the same, but disclaimer: I did more luxurious traveling in Thailand back then.
Just curious, I’m planning in the next 6 months to a year to move to that area with my Filipina, what would you suggest or recommend me do for remote work that could generate some income? I’ve been working on increasing my skills online so I’m more marketable but it’s been not so easy to find remote work. Maybe you have ideas that I’m not yet familiar with? Let me know thanks so much. Great video too.😊
Focus on a skill that you’re good at and that other people cannot do. You can try selling services on Fiverr or reach out to companies who may need this service
I just want to find one job working remotely and it’s been the biggest pain and thorn in my side. 😢I remember getting jobs in my youth so much easier, even without the internet to help. Nowadays just getting one job like what you have going on is almost depressing to find.
The cafe has very strong WiFi, but the hotel accommodation didn’t :/ I had to go to the cafe every day to work. I’d double check with wherever you’re staying if they have strong WiFi
It’s pretty quick! They’ve become a mecca for travelers, surfers, and remote workers. I would recommend checking the cafes online to decide where you’d want to go. I also went at a time when typhoon Odette had just hit so things were still being rebuilt
previously it was in Singapore because I was employed there and traveling around SE Asia. as an american, you can file for foreign tax credit so you're not double paying

Have you gone to the Philippines before? 🇵🇭 If so, let me know where your favorite place is! Btw, I could eat filipino food all day, every day.
OH MY GOODNESS~
That's incredible
Glad that you enjoyed filipino food!

Amazing that you can work remotely outside of Singapore. How cheap is Philippine compare with Laos, Thailand or Vietnam?

I know :/ but it’s a lot of selling and pitching yourself if you want to work remotely or be a contractor for some companies
your accom is relatively expensive Don't skip Boracay hopefully on a sunny day!
😅 yeah, we realized that in comparison to others but all good-we were supporting our friend’s friend who runs the place
