Jonathan is really friendly. His personality suits well in the Philippines.
Did you know that you can go to Heaven for free? This one decision can change your life and eternity forever. You've heard that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead - it means He paid the price for your sins so you can be forgiven, saved and have a personal relationship with your Creator. All you have to do is be willing in your mind to have your life and heart changed, believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead and follow/seek Him daily. Watch how the Holy Spirit moves in your life.. much love and God bless you!!
Nevermind the Jackfruit..thats sinegwelas right there..besides the seed that you dropped. been a decade i have eaten that..omg . I miss🇵🇭 so dearly.
If a place like this existed in the US, it would cost $1000/night. The native food looks so delicious and people are so friendly.
Can't wait to visit SIARGAO ❤❤❤❤❤.
You’d love it Anne! You have so much energy and like to be outside. Siargao is the perfect place for that!
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL oh someday bring me there 😂😂😂😂😁😁😁😁✌️✌️
There are a total of 48 islands and islets in Siargao. You need to do island-hopping to enjoy the beautiful sceneries. You can do snorkeling in white sand beaches with pristine water.
❤

Wow fantastic tour again. Thanks very much. I really miss the Philippines. I love the Filipino people and the food
i was been there last May..
and it was fantastic amazing place to relax and enjoy...
It really is!
Jonathan, I am from the Philippines but I have never ever been siargao. I ❤️ watching you and you're such a friendly man. I'm here in the UK.
Amazing content that inspired me to create a similar video for my own TH-cam channel. Keep motivating other content creators like myself. Love the 🇵🇭
Spent all of last December there! Amazing place and people!
Hi Jonathan, the gorgeous footage of the Sunsets with the Orange and Purple glow made up for any parts that were darker.
I always marvel at the food prices in those little markets for the quantity of food and the reasonable prices.
I can see why in your last video you commented that you might move to Siargao as it is such a stunning place. All of the beautiful Coconut and Palm trees are so plentiful. Looking forward to your other videos featuring your time in Siargao.
Your videos always make me want to visit the Philippines (and Thailand). And my departure date is August 7. I am really looking forward to it.
oh that's awesome! Where are you going?
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL I will be flying into Cebu and spending time on Mindanao near Dipolog. But I have a few days that I can explore other places, just haven't decided which places yet. By the way, I haven't used either camera, but I thought I read/saw reviews that the DJI Action 4 has better night capabilities than the GoPro. You mentioned something about the low-light issue at night in the video.
hello, Jon! just enjoying watching all your exploits. be safe and happy!
Thank you for always watching!! Be safe and happy also!
2 words - kermit pizza. best pizza I ever had outside of Italy - better than any pizza in the USA I ever tried.
Should be a business to support too as that place was destroyed by the hurricane and they had to start again from scratch.
The pizza is 10 out of 10. Damn good pasta too.
Finally new uploaded again! I love watching your videos ❤
Thanks so much! Plenty more to come!
11:39 what a view!
thanks for promoting some of the local businesses there.
excited to watch the rest of this Siargao series.
Jackfruit and lanzones are my best. Please try the very small size pineapple is so sweet.
BEAUTIFUL SUNSET.BREATHTAKING TOUR ❤👍
Thanks for watching!!
Very comprehensive and very informative tour video, Jonathan! I've been a subscriber since I saw you playing with kids in Pasay hitting cans with slippers! Very nice that you are in Siargao right now. Perhaps you should check local lady, Marielasin, married to an Australian and how they live fishing in a hut in the ocean. You may contrast their life with that of the Swedish couple Emy and Johann who are also living off the grid over there. Someone like Mariel would be a perfect partner but you are in a place where you have an opportunity to meet and mingle with lots of foreigners! Keep up the good work as well as have fun!
Thank you so much for following along since the Pasay video! That’s a great idea but I don’t know how to get in contact with Marielasin 🤔
BEAUTIFUL SUNSET.THE FOOD LOOKS DELICIOUS 😋. AMAZING TOUR❤👍
It was! Thank you for watching!
Thank you for doing an in depth coverage of Siargao! I moving to the Philippines in 1-2 years and was looking for an area to live. I saw a video of Siargao and fell in love so I’m trying to see every tiny detail of what my future home is like. Your video sealed the deal it’s definitely going to be Siargao!!! Thank you
Thank you for sharing. Enjoy your trip around the Philippines 🇵🇭
Thank you for watching!
That jackfruit you can even eat the seeds by simply boiling it until it becomes soft.
i was just there a month ago, Siargao is such a beautful island. Love your videos, keep it up!
Thanks so much! And I agree! Siargao is definitely one of my favorite islands!
When consuming a ripe Jackfruit, it is important to tear it apart to discard the seeds and the soft outer covering (brownish). One should only eat the soft outer meat covering (yellow). The brownish fruit known as Santol is also called Cotton Fruit or Wild Mangosteen. It has a sour taste due to the thick soft flesh, and the seeds should not be eaten. The soft flesh of Santol can also be cooked.
Good to know! I love learning and at 69 just turned, so many things I never stop-still a sponge!!! Thanks Teach🙏🏻❤️blessings of health love and joyfilled days!!! Imma sub to you-Teacher teaches many things I’m jazzed! Thanks🙏🏻🤔❤️
You can boil the Jackfruit seeds, taste like potato.
Love you video learn about philliphines so many places I never been before and I was there before Love these Islands never realized so many island I visited manilla and the main island and stayed in the collage town near Laguna 😎🙋♂️🤘👌👍😎🤗🤗🤗😁

Shout out MajorBama!! Thanks for watching!
I always watch your videos because it relieves stress and feels like I'm visiting beautiful places in the Philippines.
hi Jonathan, those are small jackfruit, there are some huge one. Also the one your pointing out besides packed jackfruit is peeled santol -- sweet tart
Ooh I need to try santol then! Thanks for the info! Yeah; jackfruits can be huge!
Cannot wait for more, great content!
thank you!! Plenty more to come!
Enjoying watching your Videos not only in my country places but others too! Keep it up & more power & Blessed! Take care always mr. JONATHAN! ;-) ❤😊
Siargao is like an Old late 80’s vibe.. pls maintain it that way..don’t allow big concrete hotels..
Damn, Siargao is popping! Beach is Life. Life's a Beach! 😅❤💯
Yeahhhh 😎

great video man, but its feel short to me, 😅 please upload the continuation as soon as possible.. 😆 thanks! have great day!
😅 yeah this one was shorter than many of my other videos. I’m testing out a different style. Thanks for watching! More to come soon!
🎉🎉❤ Great episode brother. Stoked you're enjoying it. I'll be there soon. Cheers from Coron...
Siargao is pretty chill, undeveloped Island is really appealing to me, as supposed to a developed one like in Boracay.
people who want to live in the a simple life, love to live here in our very humble place
I loved the night life when I was here. I tried surfing for my first time ever but unfortunately I dislocated my finger, I didn't know it was so rocky at Cloud 9.
Hi, Siargao is already in Mindanao
Jackfruit is being sold here at Whole Foods, staff are amazed at how it looks and I make them smell it!
That’s my favorite fruit
And yes, it’s always with seeds.
Nice place to explore. Enjoy and keep safe Jonathan ❤
It is!! Thanks for always watching Lily Beth!!
Wow! Never been to Siargao. I must put on my list to Travel someday🙂 Thanks again for sharing your Travel video, very informative. The fruits and food dishes looks good🙂
Hi Jonathan, could you please drop by and have a brief chat with Island Barbie? I see similarities between your personalities since you both share a love for and have embraced the culture of my beloved country, the Philippines 🇵🇭! Have a great time in Siargao!!! Safe travels ❤️
She's usually at Catagnan Bridge in the afternoon hours.
Cool video. I live in Mindanao island too (Iligan City) Never been to Siargao. Ayo-ayoo, Jonathan🤘🏼
One of my dream to tour and enjoy life in Siargao Philippines 🇵🇭
the fruit looked amazing... you need to try mangosteen and lanzones if u haven't already
I love that you speak the language!
Like me in Spanish
there are bigger jackfruits most times also especially in rural areas in the philippines
Glad to see another video so soon.
Yeahh! The last one was delayed because of the broken laptop, so I needed to get that one and this one out this week to catch up!
Brilliant, one of your best tours. I look forward to the next. Thank you.
Thanks! I’ve never really done a video like this giving a full tour. I thought I would try it out and see if viewers like the more informative video style. Thanks for your feedback!
❤❤❤thank u for showing our lovely Siargao❤❤❤
Thanks for the virtual tour of Siargao, it's like being there although I've never been there.
I hope you stay there for a while as I really want to see the whole of Siargao and know what things to do there and how it is to life there. Hope you meet Eight Miles From Home (British Family). Love their vlogs! An American guy lived there too Jay Or Cruise vlog.
Nice place we love philippines🙏❤️
It is! And so do I!
Try in other places here in phil,?
Can't wait to get there. ❤❤❤
It’s amazing!!
@travelescapesOFFICIAL Yeah, it seems very nice... If only the internet is good, I may stay there for a month or so.
Love your videos as always
Thank you!!
Tom and your mom cooks with Love 💗 bon appétit ☘️ always the best - west coast USA 🦋
Yessss been waiting for your next video!! You never disappoint man!!! Can't wait for the next vid!! Keep up the amazing work Jonathan!!
Awesome videos Jo! I might come visit there too!
Thank you!! It’s definitely worth visiting!
The best mangoes are in Guimaras island, Western Visayas. Close to where you leave in Bohol, Central Visayas.
5:21 that other fruit is called Santol (cotton fruit)
I was trying to say before love ur videos especially these new ones of the islands in the philiphine you do a great job guess its a lot of work to do them but u seem like you enjoy it😎🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👌👍🙋♂️😎😁✌
Locals understand jackfruit more so as "langka". The other pre-packed fruit u were pointing/asking about beside the jackfruit pack is called "santol" (cotton fruit) and it has been pre-peeled.
In Siargao, it is called "Nangka" not langka (tagalog)
@@eli.capinbxutagalogs call it both nangka or langka....means the same to us
Siargao Island Villas has quite goot internet speed, awesome island. Bar 150, El Lobo and Sidargo for Nightlife, Sunset Bridge for street food. TIP: rent a tricycle driver as a guide for an island tour.
Hola Jonathan very good video congratulaciones , me gustó, me gustó, chao, chao
Love watching your vids brother. Loved Davoe when I visited there in 2017. People are great and you always treat them good with extra money. Peace.
Only the most virgin Pacific Ocean 🌊 water 💦 that enters the Philippines and exits to various Asian countries due to the rotation of the earth 🌎🌍. Love the Philippine beaches!
In the Philippines the ocean 🌊 current flow from the east to the west because the rotation of the earth. So, the ocean water is constantly changed with virgin ocean water from Pacific Ocean.
Philippines is exactly looks like one of the indian state 'kerala'🌴❤
Santol is like mangosteen but when you peel the 1st layer(brown/orange skins) it can be eaten. Some santol are sweets or sour. Bro ✌️
Hey Jon, lot of things change in Siargao, tourist demographic change ,it was all dirt road back in late 80’s and early 90’s mostly eupropeans tourist . Glad your showing the whole circle ,people, geography, vives by the way siargao is part of Surigao so basically your in mindanao, maybe you can film dinagat island its near siargao via pumpboat but check situation first for safety. Thanks man.
Yeah nice place 😃
It is!!
Favourite siargao
Yeahhh!! 😎
Jack fruit was the inspiration for Juicy Fruit gum
Are you serious?!
For a great low light camera, I use the DJI Pocket 3. Check out our night videos to see, but I'm very happy with the performance at night.
Still digging the videos man!
I was considering switching over to DJI actually. GoPro hasn’t made too many major improvements over the last few cameras while DJI seems to be getting ahead
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL I like my gopro10, but the low light is soooo bad. We went to Disney World in Florida a couple years ago, and the picture jumped all over just because we went under a bridge where the light dimmed a bit. I'm considering trying the DJI Action camera too, but we'll see... wife says I shouldn't buy anymore cameras until we start getting paid for these videos hahaha.
This video was perfect 🎉❤😂 yay coming to Siargao
thank you! I'm glad you liked it!!
New here but enjoying you channel
Jackfruit is very good- Love Kurvada food is good too!…great vids!
thank you!! Yeah I love both!! I'm craving some jackfruit after making this video haha
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL 👍👍
I was last month in Davao City and ate Durian and mangosteen for the first time in my life.😊
The food looks delish😋
It is! I liked the peanut one better than the curry, but it’s all really good!
As a kid, we used to boil the seed of the jackfruit and eat them. They’re like boiled peanuts.
Another awesome video 👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you!!!
Johnathan, you can change the ISO on the gopro for night filming... look on youtube for settings
Yeah adjusting those settings can improve it, but the quality is still poor at night in comparison to daytime filming. Most of us avoid filming at night for that reason
Prices of foods along the beach are too commercialize! But nice ambiance!👍🇵🇭🇧🇭
Beautiful siargao 😍😍❤️❤️
It is!
Since jackfruit is huge it doesn't grow on the top of the tree. The fruit grows at the lower part of the tree. It's covered with a soft sack to protect the fruit from pests. Until it's ready to be cut off from the tree. If you plant jackfruit at least 5 years it will have fruits.
Love this!
Hot there this year. Was 47*f here in Murphy NC this morning
47 degrees Fahrenheit?? That sounds amazing! 😅
🥶🥶🥶 @@travelescapesOFFICIAL
You should try sineguelas right beside where you eating
that's very right anyway take very good care on your travels stay safe keep in touch😂
Jackfruit my favorite fruit the seed you boil and can eat it
In the U.S.A., the massage cost is $100.00 dollars for 30 minutes.
@17:00 lol take a picture that’s new.. at first I thought she was going to say for the gram 😅😅❤
Check out Island Barbie selling ice cream by the bridge!!
I wish they’d be strict on keeping the place clean
Like in Boracay, it’s nice not to see littered trash
Visit the virgin Islands of Leyte.. Underrated, Undiscovered Islands much more prestine, amazing and beautiful than Palawan or Boracay. White soft sand and sandbar omg ⛰️🌵🌿🌴🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🌊🌊🌊🌊⛱️
I'd go there with some mates to hang out, relax and enjoy food and drinks but I still like the quiet provincial areas. Populations stress me out.
Nice Video Bro...
They do surfing off of that island. I'm subscribed to Island Barbie who's based in Siargao. She's an American btw.
Yeah! I’ve taken a boat out to nearby rocks that have a surf break. It can be Less crowded that way. Yeah, I’ve come across island Barbie’s channel. She’s got an ice cream store there by cloud 9
Love the food!! I miss eating some of it that we don't have here in Texas, U.S. 😁 love the video. Can you say Hi to my Husband his name is Scott on your next video thank you🥰
We have been contemplating in buying our next property to open an air bnb. First pick is Bohol (close to panglao) 2nd is Siargao, since you have been in both- which one do you think can get more potential guests? Fingers crossed you read this 😖
Hey Jonathan. I'm in Siargao now. Maybe I'll run into you sometime haha
