Its basically tranzit 2.0. In tranzit you travel from one place to another (bus depot, diner, farm, power room and town) in revelations we are gonna travel from one map fragment to another. So it is gonna suck like tranzit did imo just not as much.
Going back and watching this really brings me back, so weird I was In middle school when this released. Me and my friends were so hyped, man I wish I could experience this for the first time again what an amazing story to be apart of.

Milo The Shadowman didn't swap souls with Maxis, Dr Maxis didn't have a soul. Dr monty said he only had a brain so I'm assuming that Dr monty built Maxis a body somehow after the events of origins (the Maxis bot)

Monty thinks the characters don't know the shadow man is inside the summoning key. Monty is hiding this because he wants the summoning key. Why? because Monty wants the shadow man to maybe take over his body and destroy the universe, the only reason Monty is helping is because he wants to earn the trust of the characters. Richthofen knows Monty knows the shadow man is in the summoning key. So "the blood will protect me" If Richthofen knows Monty knows he needs protection. The blood. We/I don't know what the blood is for but maybe it's the Apothicans weakness. As the MOTD zombies are controlled by Apothicans, maybe their only weakness is themselves. To anyone who thinks this could be a good theory, let me know. (: So I heard Dr. Monty say something about Dr. Maxis not having a soul, and only being reconstructed from his brain (thus the Maxis Drone in Origins) and I presume this is the Origins universe. The Shadow Man reached out to Maxis since Maxis had a body without a soul, and the Shadow Man needed a body to inhabit. After gaining control, the Shadow Man opens a portal to the other worlds, the ones in which the Apothicons were banished (I think they were banished, right?) and due to this the universes began to bleed together. Not only did the 2.0 Characters collect the souls of the 1.0 Characters, but I think they'll - or at least the Easter Egg - will start with the scraps of Nacht der Untoten, and follow every map that has a segment in it with important story lore (Shi No Numa, Der Reise, Call of the Dead, Ascension, Moon, Mob of the Dead and Origins) and you'll progress through the Easter Egg by redoing wrongs from those.
Continuing, any map that has it's Easter Egg completed by the player in Black Ops III (SOE, The Giant, Der Eisendrache, Zetsubou no Shima and Gorod Krovi) will be altered in some way - as shown in the teaser trailer that the Undergroth in Der Eisendrache was completely demolished; the players might even have to have those Easter Eggs complete before beginning this one. This alteration could be destruction of the map, new, smaller Easter Eggs within them or even brand new content or undiscovered story/lore. My final assumption is that either Maxis or Richtofen will end dead by the end of this. (I don't think Maxis is dead, just inhabited by the Shadow Man). What do you guys think?
to be honest, I think having to do the previous easter eggs to do this one would be a really dumb idea, Because alot of people might not buy season pass and just go straight to dlc 4, So when they try and do the easter egg, They cant because they have to buy every single map before it.

I don’t think we’ll ever get insane story trailers like this anymore. Citadelle is a banger map but I don’t think the hype will ever be this high for zombies again unless treyarch lock in and pull a miracle out of their billion dollar ass

I have a little theory about this actually. It kind of explains the Origins and GK cutscenes. Here's how it goes. While in the MPD in moon and such, she was in house. But when Richtofen 1.0 swapped bodies with her, his soul was put in the house instead, hence the quotes by Maxis, saying that she disappeared, then came back to him in ZNS. In origins, we are putting her back in the house, but since Eddie is still there from the 1.0 version, they didn't put him up in GK cause he was already there from Moon
Yeah especially because this is the last zombies map of all time we deserved something better in my opinion because I never play multiplayer so I want more zombies. I'm sure this map will be awesome though.

No the map infection was based off the wierd broken dream the main character of the campaign had near the end of the game with Dr. Hall that took place in Bastogne. Besides, multiplayer takes place in training simulations I think.

In response to Milo's question about the "soul transfer" scene around the 9:58 mark. Monty said he didn't have Maxis' soul, he said that he only got a brain. So I think that the shadow man put his soul into Monty and essentially took over his body.
Just 2 things that are possibly hiding more info. 1 - perhaps the voices that speak to maxis before he becomes the shadowman are translatable. If so, what do they say and what can they all mean? 2 - the jacket the shadowman is wearing has the SoE symbols on. Do they mean anything in this context either? Great video again Milo
Milo they didn't swap souls. Dr Monty tells you all he got of Maxis was his brain (Maxis drone that flew up into Agartha). Right now the shadowman is Maxis' brain and Shadow man's soul or whatever. Treyarch is taking the piss again with their out of time line stories. Primis went into it with Maxis drone. They probably botched Revelations and we need to sweep up (but they ended up deities anyway). We shoulda seen shadow man coming, I actually had a feeling his soul being in there would cause problems. As far as Corvus and the ravens, Corvus is people's conciousnesses holding on to life. Taylor crew got it from test subjects, actual Taylor got It from your soldier in mission 1. Maybe the Apothicons are holding on to life in the very same way. That'd be foreshadowing.

So the Shadowman absorbed Maxis's soul so he could live on, killing Maxis then putting him into the summoning key, replacing the Shadowman's spot in the summoning key so he can reap havoc across the universes, binding them together so we have our maps all knitted together and playable again... I have no clue why I wrote this, no one will read it

No the map infection was based off the wierd broken dream the main character of the campaign had near the end of the game with Dr. Hall that took place in Bastogne. Besides, multiplayer takes place in training simulations I think.

Milo they didn't swap souls. Dr Monty tells you all he got of Maxis was his brain (Maxis drone that flew up into Agartha). Right now the shadowman is Maxis' brain and Shadow man's soul or whatever. Treyarch is taking the piss again with their out of time line stories. Primis went into it with Maxis drone. They probably botched Revelations and we need to sweep up (but they ended up deities anyway). We shoulda seen shadow man coming, I actually had a feeling his soul being in there would cause problems. As far as Corvus and the ravens, Corvus is people's conciousnesses holding on to life. Taylor crew got it from test subjects, actual Taylor got It from your soldier in mission 1. Maybe the Apothicons are holding on to life in the very same way. That'd be foreshadowing.
