Best day of fishing yet, Iowa Walleyes (2 Man-Limit)

This had to be one of the best days for fishing of the year. It was cast after cast and they where all good eater size walleyes and we came home and we filleted them up and fried and it was GOOD! But i hope you all enjoyed the vid, I'm planning on trying to upload some more but until next vid see ya!!

I mean I didn’t take any walleye after that, didn’t target them until spring. I ate some that night and saved some in the freezer for later.

For me I think that the spring is the best so like March - April is when you can find a lot of big walleyes getting ready to spawn or around the fall, like September- November when the temps start to drop

Nice fish, but ...NEVER fish unless you know the limits.....no guessing . always keep a copy of that states regs in your tackle bag.

Yes sir you are absolutely correct about that, and I did stop fishing before we were limited and checked to be 100% correct and I just looked 2021 fishing regulations book so I know all of the limits 👍

There is no length limit for walleye at the dam and we didn’t keep anything under 15. our smallest was 16.5

@@dmioutdoors1008 nice. I think the best eaters are between 15 to 18 in anyways. I was just curious i live in michigan its 15 here never fished other states yet for walleye

Yea some of the lakes here have a 15 inch size limits, but the rivers don’t and we usually don’t keep any too small or big just for the sport of them
