Absolutely CRAZY day of Wiper Fishing!! (PB BROKEN)

- This day was the best day of fishing I have had all year. It became an even better day when I broke my old personal best of 10 LBS, which is insane, but I won't say much more and I hope you all enjoy it.
Gear used:
Rod: 7' med St. Croxi avid
Reel: 2500 Diawa BG
Line: 5 Lbs power pro Hi-Vis yellow

I fish the same way here at my local river... instead we use mh inshore rods and 1oz jigheads 20lb braid 30 pound leader for rocks. Definitely have to be near bottom for better strikes. Awesome work!

Im from Tn and we have similar dams where hurbid run. What is the technique you guys use? Are you bouncing it off bottom, or holding it in current.. Thanks for the vid yall killed it!
A little mix of both just letting it run in the current and give it a couple of pops when you feel bottom

I was there this past Friday and couldn't catch anything but other were catching them with live shiner. Do you let the swim bait sink to the bottom?

Use a 2 Oz pencil sinker weight with fly u will get them out there
