Can I use plantain too or only matoke?
To avoid oxidation put salt in the washing water and soak them in as you peel them
Plain water works fine for me
Thanks.Didnt know this.
Perfecto..
Wow! You learn something new everyday. Have you tried using simsim paste?
I’ve never had coconut with matooke. I must try this immediately coz that looks yummy.
And thank you for telling us about thyme. Now excuse me while I binge on the rest of your videos.
Not yet tried simsim paste...
watu wa central like tsunami hehe
I love you 😭..
Thicker than Thika town😂😂😂
🤣💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I can't buy matoke where I live. Can I use plantains instead? I love your videos btw!
I was also wondering if I could add meat to it.
Can I add carrots just to it more appealing to the eyes
Wow....this looks yummy....but oops my peanut butter is finished have to go and shop so that I can try this recipe look 😋😋😋😋but sure I will be keenly not to put water like ocean 😂😂😂🙈

I tried this and it was super delicious. My child will not touch green bananas with a ten inch pole😆😆😆
She finished off her plate and asked for seconds... I nearly fell of my seat.
ION..not oceans or mtungi😆🙏🏿 I should tag all my aunt's😊😊
I love your smile 🥰
💖💖
Nice one...
christine muchemi 💜💜
I saw the turmeric root in the market a couple of days ago. How does one use it?
Grate it
Can i add viazi or no need for it
The gas cooker...yeeeees
Can you write the English name for the dish? Matoke is green bananas, right? I wouldn't know that until I saw pictures on your blog.
Is Ugandan Maatoke different from Rwandan's?
I don't know. I am Kenyan
where do you buy your tyme
Supermarket. Spices are bought from supermarkets
Is The peanut butter salt or sweet?
Do u have the receipt? This looks delicious but u didn't show the measurements
This was DELISH!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sylvia Adagala for sure!! 🤤🤤🤤
Am a visitor,,, this peanut ni Ile ya mkate?
Yess
The bloopers hahaha
I would love to make this for my ugandan gf, if maybe she listed the measurements of the ingredients..would certainly help.
The coriander was among the first ingredients in the source pan.....won't it overcook and loose the aroma? Just curious
If you listened closely, dania STEMS go at the beginning and dania LEAVES go at the end as a garnish. Stems can handle the heat of the first process, delicate leaves cannot that's why they are a garnish
Just beautiful Lady.
did you mean plantain on the other hand you can just cook in butter
Plantain is *NOT* matoke. Same family but as different as night and day
the comment about ocean or tsunami haha upvoted
We are not eating an ocean 😂😂
Please less talk but great recipe
Ati ocean😂😂😂😂
If you were to use beef at what point would you add it
Just after the onion and garlic paste so that it can absorb the flavours from the spices
I seriously hate matooke but that recipe is giving me second thoughts
It may very well be the one that will change your mind forever 🤩🤩🤩🤩
How?
No more Pacific in your kitchen 🤣🤣
are you a nutritionist ?????
😂😂😂😂😂😂no more tsunamis
Was that coconut mill from a can or made from scratch... #LookingForAShortCut 😂
Eh i bought mine. Hiyo from scratch hatuna time o!😁😁😁
Yaaaas!!not an ocean😂😂😂😂😂
Ocean tumewachia samaki!
Your recipes in Swahili please
I unfortunately don't vlog/blog in kiswahili
Good job gal, another thing is talk less let's see more cooking happening
